Love You for the Rest of My Life

Chapter 1244 I Fell Down

Chapter 1244 I Fell Down

No matter what, she felt happy inside; at least her lips would curl up slightly. She didn’t like a stifling life. Yes, that was it.

When the lights went out, the room plunged into darkness, which inexplicably sharpened her senses.

The last time they slept together on a cruise ship, the lights couldn’t be turned off at night for fear of a collision, so there was light throughout the night.

But now it was dark, and the curtains in her room were opaque, making it very dark once the lights were off.

Sleeping in the same room with this man in the darkness felt incredibly novel.

Recalling all their past moments together, Jinxuan hugged her Kitty cat plush tightly on the bed, wondering if he would sneak up into her bed later.

She guessed he must have been impulsive before because she saw his...

Jinxuan’s face turned red, and though Nangong Jin couldn’t see her, she still felt overwhelmingly bashful.

Lost in her thoughts, his sonorous and magnetic voice filled the room, "Wife, good night."

"Um, good night," Jinxuan responded softly, feeling a bit sweet inside.

No amount of thoughts could withstand the onslaught of sleepiness. Besides, she and he had a long way ahead. Who could know what the future held?

Nangong Jin, lying on the sofa, indeed felt uncomfortable; the sofa was too short, and his legs were sticking out.

He really wanted to sneak up on the bed and sleep with his arms around his wife, but then he thought better of it and decided to act like a gentleman.

This was the second time he slept in the same room with a woman without touching her—a rather miraculous fact for a man, and yet, he was willing.

He wasn’t in a hurry; he had plenty of time to wait for her to eagerly and completely give herself to him.

The night was long, but they both slept soundly.

However, a sudden dull thump jolted Jinxuan awake in the middle of the night, and she instinctively switched on the light.

She then saw the old man sitting on the floor, looking confused as if he hadn’t realized what had happened.

Had he fallen off?

Jinxuan rubbed her eyes, looked up to see him gazing at her plaintively and sulkily, "Wife, I fell off."

"I saw," Jinxuan yawned, turned off the light, and went back to sleep.

Nangong Jin felt frustrated and started to protest, "Wife, you don’t care about me at all!"

"I just realized how ruthless you are, I fell to the floor, and you still won’t let me sleep on the bed."

At that, Jinxuan opened her eyes again, somewhat groggy, but she immediately scooted over and muttered, "Come up then."

Nangong Jin was ecstatic; he quickly rolled onto the bed and hugged her, "Wife, you’re so kind."

Jinxuan, a bit dazed, laughed and kissed him on the lips, "Sleep now, sweetheart."

Nangong Jin paused, instantly feeling very sweet. Damn wife, truly, seducing without even trying!

They embraced through the night, warm and sweet.

The next day

Jinxuan woke up very early, her thoughts a bit hazy, and found Nangong Jin clinging to her like an octopus, his sleeping face pure and innocent.

Jinxuan blinked, gazing at his face, and couldn’t help but steal a light kiss on his lips.

Then she anxiously watched for his reaction, but he seemed indeed still asleep, showing no sign of stirring.

Jinxuan’s lips curled up into a smile; Nangong Jin was truly handsome.
