Chapter 1066: Hurry Over and Serve Your In-Laws

He walked outside to the yard, took a few sips of water, then set it on the flower stand and scooped up handfuls of water to wash his face.

The waiter hurriedly offered him a towel freshly taken from the sterilizer, which he accepted and used to dry his face, then said thanks.

"Not at all, not at all," the waiter bowed his head, his demeanor mysteriously coy, "I’ll head in first then, Young Master Jin."

"Okay," Nangong Jin nodded, barely suppressing a laugh, and indeed, he let out a chuckle.

The waiter also gave a simple-minded smile and then slinked away stealthily.

Nangong Jin was in high spirits; washing his face made his head feel less heavy, though still a bit dizzy, as if floating on clouds, but that was of no great concern.

Just as he was about to step inside, his phone suddenly rang. He took it out and saw that it was a message from Li Hui.

He opened it to read, "You little brat, get your ass over here and attend to your father-in-law and mother-in-law!"

Nangong Jin blinked in confusion, a bit dumbfounded. Father-in-law and mother-in-law?

Shit, could it be Di Yan and Fang Hao?

Did they know?

His long fingers tapping a few times on the phone screen, Nangong Jin asked, "What’s going on, Mother? Don’t mess with me!"

Li Hui replied immediately, "Who’s messing with you? You’ve been shamelessly stuck to that girl all day, like a mangy dog, and they’re not blind, they can see for themselves!

Come here first, offer a couple of toasts, sweet-talk them, and show some proper respect to your future in-laws."

Nangong Jin felt even more bewildered, yet also a bit excited, hurriedly typing back, "Uncle Yan and Aunt Fang don’t mind?"

This really was beyond his expectations. By his guess, if Di Yan knew, he’d probably beat him up first and forbid him from seeing Di Jinxuan.

Otherwise, he would have said something sooner.

"For now, there doesn’t seem to be any objections, it all depends on your performance. Let me tell you, the critical figure is your mother-in-law, so you better win her over soon," Li Hui responded once more.

Fang Hao was animatedly chatting with Li Hui and Qin Qian, appearing to be in quite a good mood.

Di Yan, Nangong Tiancheng, and Gu Ruhai were also engaged in a cheerful conversation.

This was the first time that Nangong Jin felt a bit nervous!

How the heck was he supposed to curry favor with Fang Hao so formally?

As Nangong Jin walked, he pondered how to strike up a conversation with his future mother-in-law.

This table was for the younger generation, a whole crew of them, with the Gu Family representing the majority, a spectacle of stunning beauties that took one’s breath away.

Next came the three siblings from the Di Family, four from the Nangong Family; Di Mingzhe and Di Xiaxia hadn’t come, probably due to some commitments.

Added to the mix were Alvin and Shi Mo.

This large table was, of course, quite lively, full of chatter and laughter.
