Chapter 945: The Lone, Frosty Gaze Erupts With Extreme Cold
Enzo Seys was particularly satisfied with Steven Cooper, smiling as he replied, "Yes, after the New Year, I’ll have Lily Cox go discuss the engagement with the Cooper Family. Steven Cooper is indeed good, and the Cooper Family is a good match for the Seys Family. Mainly, this Steven Cooper is rarely good in terms of character and upbringing. With Nicole marrying him, we can be at ease.""Good, good, good. Seeing my grandchildren happy makes me truly delighted!" Dominic Seys laughed heartily.

Nicole walked with Steven Cooper around the Seys Family estate.
"Nicole, are you going back to the army?" Steven Cooper asked.
Nicole shook her head, "I shouldn’t be going back for now because tomorrow a friend of mine is getting married, and with the New Year approaching, I plan to return after the festivities."
Steven Cooper nodded, a gentle smile on his face, exuding warmth and courtesy, "I’ll come pick you up for the New Year. My mom has ordered me to bring you home for the New Year. If I fail, my parents said I might as well freeze to death on the street."
Nicole gave a slight smile, "Brother Cooper, it’s still early. We can discuss this during the New Year. By the way, how are things going at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs?"
Steven Cooper strolled leisurely, exuding comfort and ease, "Pretty good. Next year I might get a promotion."
"Getting promoted so soon, Brother Cooper, your future is limitless. Congratulations," Nicole said with a smile as she walked alongside Steven Cooper.
The two walked side by side along the roadside, their silhouettes one tall and upright, the other slender and graceful. Nicole occasionally turned her head to give a gentle smile to the person beside her—a seemingly simple smile yet warm and charming, catching anyone’s eye.
Behind them, out of sight, a luxury car followed slowly, its driver’s eyes as cold as ice.
Ahead.
Steven Cooper chuckled, "Do you have any free time these days? Last time I invited you for a meal, you said you were busy. My colleagues are clamoring to see the real Miss Seys and want me to take you to dinner. Nicole, would you oblige?"
Nicole paused for a moment, then nodded, "Okay, in a couple of days. My friend Daisy is getting married tomorrow. After her wedding, you can check which day your colleagues are free, and we’ll arrange a time."
"Finally, you’re nodding," Steven Cooper laughed, "I really envy your brother and sister-in-law. Their relationship must be wonderful, especially since your sister-in-law went blind, yet your brother remained by her side, showering her with love."
Nicole nodded, "They went through a lot of hardships to get where they are today. They’re the most suitable and loving people for each other in this lifetime. Seeing the rainbow after the storm is indeed lucky and happy. All those hardships weren’t in vain; they finally came together."
Steven Cooper stopped walking, looking at Nicole with earnest and passionate eyes, "Though we haven’t faced hardships to be together, believe me, I’ll treat you just as well, just like your brother does with your sister-in-law. Nicole, after the New Year, I want to have my mom visit the Seys Family to discuss our engagement. What do you think?"
Nicole looked into Steven Cooper’s earnest eyes, pursing her lips slightly. Her eyes deepened, but she didn’t reply.
Steven Cooper leaned closer to Nicole, reaching out, placing both hands on her shoulders, bringing them closer, his eyes tender as he looked at her, sincerely saying, "Trust me, I’ll take care of you all my life. I’ll also strive to become someone worthy of the Seys Family Princess. I can’t promise to reach your brother’s level of achievement, but believe me, marrying me is something you won’t regret."
Steven Cooper’s character was noble and upright. Nicole had no doubt about what he said. She knew if he said it, he’d do it.
