Benny Saxton’s mind suddenly conjured up the image of Cherry Morris’s gentle and soft face, her faint and charming smile. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Benny Saxton approaching. He shot a cold glance, returned to the driver’s seat, started the car, and drove off swiftly.
Benny Saxton stood where he was, watching the car leave, and let out a deep sigh.
Four children: Howard was dead, Susan was in prison, and Jorge Saxton and Ariel Morris both refused to forgive him for his past mistakes. Benny Saxton suddenly felt his life was sorrowful.
Benny Saxton stood in place for a long time, watching Arlo Seys’s car go off into the distance, before turning around and walking towards the hospital, feeling desolate.

In the back seat, Nicole watched the two and smiled, "Oh dear, I’m not just a glowing light bulb here! Had I known, I would’ve taken Uncle Glenn’s car."
Arlo Seys glanced faintly at his sister, who was calling herself a light bulb, and said, "If you know you’re a light bulb, get married early to avoid becoming an older single woman. Don’t go back to the military for now. I’ll tell Dad, you should get along with Steven Cooper. Get engaged after the new year. Now, you should focus on the relationship. You just rest assured; with Steven so outstanding, aren’t you afraid someone will snatch him away?"
Nicole raised her eyelids, looking at her older brother with disdain, and said to Ariel Morris in the front seat, "Ariel, there are lots of tough soldiers in the military. One day, I’ll take you to meet some, do you want to know a few soldiers?"

Nicole grinned mischievously and stirred things up, "Sister-in-law, I’ll prepare a durian for you when I get back! Make my brother kneel!! He actually said no one wants you now! It’s intolerable!"
"Great, thank you, sister-in-law!" Ariel Morris sat upright, making the final decision.
Arlo Seys glanced indifferently at the two women conniving together, and said calmly, "Steven Cooper is having dinner at our place."
