Chapter 450: Let’s Get Married
Chapter 450: Let’s Get Married
"Arlo, are you done with the company’s matters?" Ariel Morris changed the topic.Arlo Seys nodded, "It’s going smoothly."
As long as there are no major surprises, taking over the Morris Clan is not a big issue.
"Arlo...do you know what specifically happened with the Saxton Family over twenty years ago?" Ariel Morris’s voice was somewhat low.
Arlo Seys’s fingers stiffened for a moment, gazing intently at Ariel Morris, "Ariel, what do you want to ask?"
Ariel Morris looked at Arlo Seys and pressed her lips, "I want to know about the death of my mother, Cherry Morris, and my grandfather’s matters. I want to know everything."
She needed to know how her relatives had died at the hands of Damien Morris and Kylie Morris’s schemes. How could she find peace if this blood feud was not avenged?
Arlo Seys’s eyes narrowed slightly, silent, his body somewhat tense.
Ariel Morris glanced at him, a bitter smile on her face, "I’ve called those who are my adoptive parents for over twenty years the murderers who killed my dearest relatives, Arlo, I cannot let go of this hatred."
Arlo Seys reached out to embrace Ariel Morris, his voice low and deep, "Ariel, you have your brother, and you have me; you don’t need to take action, understand?"
Ariel Morris shook her head, "No, Arlo, this is my brother’s and my responsibility. This is the debt the Morris Family owes us siblings; you shouldn’t get involved. If Benny Saxton from the Saxton Family steps in to help the Morris Clan, Era and the Seys Family will both be in a difficult position."
Arlo Seys released Ariel Morris, adjusted her body upright, gazing straight at her, asked in a serious tone, "Ariel, what am I to you in your heart?"
Ariel Morris pressed her lips, "The person I want to be with all my life, the person I never want to let go of, the person I love the most, the most."
Arlo Seys had always been the answer in her heart since her youth. Arlo Seys was her true love, the warmest sunshine in her life.
Arlo Seys smiled faintly, his tone firm and powerful, "Ariel Morris is also the person I love most in my heart, the one and only, my dearest love, my wife, as Arlo Seys." Arlo Seys paused, his gaze reaching deep into Ariel Morris’s eyes, "So, my wife’s enemies, my wife’s burden of revenge, I have the responsibility and obligation."
"But Arlo..."
"There’s no ’but,’ Mrs. Seys, are you doubting that your husband doesn’t have the capability to help you get your revenge?" Arlo Seys’s gaze was deep.
Ariel Morris shook her head, "If there’s anyone in this world I can depend on with a peace of mind, you’re the first."
Arlo Seys’s lips curved into a shallow smile at those words, "I’m honored, Mrs. Seys. And please believe, Mrs. Seys, that I can let you rely on me for a lifetime."
Ariel Morris smiled faintly, her dimples blossoming, her brows and eyes warm as water, "Alright, your embrace can only belong to me, and your shoulders can only be for me to lean on."
Arlo Seys held her again, lightly rubbing his thin lips against her forehead, filled with lingering affection and deep tenderness, his voice gentle, "Mrs. Seys, this Christmas, let’s get married in Dublin, shall we?"
"Married?" Ariel Morris’s mind immediately hit a standstill.
During the time she was unconscious, she heard a voice calling by her ear, persistently talking to her, telling her not to give up, even mentioning a wedding. She thought it was a dream, but it wasn’t; it was Arlo who insistently woke up her will to live by her ear.
Arlo Seys nodded solemnly, "I’ve booked the venue for the wedding, and everything like the wedding dress and invitations I’ve custom-made, even the rings, I’ve arranged for all of it. Ariel, I’ve prepared everything; all that’s left is for the bride to nod."
Ariel Morris’s eyes instantly turned a bit moist, her voice hoarse, "When did you prepare all this? Why didn’t I know at all?"
