She was clearly working at her desk, so how did she end up in a room?After scanning the room with her eyes, she felt at ease, a warm smile appearing on her lips.
This is Arlo’s lounge! Ariel Morris got out of bed, lifting the covers, and walked out of the lounge.
Arlo Seys was focused on handling documents when he heard footsteps approaching. He slowly lifted his gaze and saw Ariel Morris walking out from the lounge towards him.
As Ariel Morris came closer to Arlo Seys, dimples appearing at the corners of her mouth, she spoke softly, "Arlo, didn’t I fall asleep at my desk? How did I end up in your lounge room?"
Arlo Seys put down the pen in his hand, leaned back in his office chair, and smiled gently, "Sleeping on the desk isn’t comfortable after all."
Ariel Morris leaned closer, and Arlo pulled her into his arms, embracing her with a tender look.
"Did you--carry me in?"
Arlo Seys chuckled softly, "What if I said you sleepwalked in here, would you believe it, Mrs. Seys?"
"Oh no----" Ariel Morris covered her face, "Now all the secretaries will say I’m here because I used my connections to climb up."
Arlo Seys gently hooked her chin, looking directly at her charming little face, and chuckled, "Mrs. Seys, isn’t every day a ’used connection’ day for you? Hmm?!"
Ariel Morris blushed red, wrapping her arms around Arlo Seys’s neck, her smile bright and charming, "Well---then President Seys, can I get a raise? It’s pretty tough being a secretary! I have to handle daily work and also get ’connections’ privately; I’m begging for a raise!"
Arlo Seys chuckled, pecking Ariel Morris’s pink lips lightly, "The entire Era belongs to Mrs. Seys, and yet she’s still not content?" Arlo Seys’s smile deepened, eyebrows raising, "Then let me, President Seys of Era, be packed and sent to Mrs. Seys too? I can earn money to support the family while fulfilling all of Mrs. Seys’s private needs. Mrs. Seys, you’ve hit the jackpot; you’re the ultimate winner in life."
Ariel Morris gave Arlo Seys a playful glance, "Why does it sound like you’re just patting yourself on the back, Arlo?"
Arlo Seys replied with poise, "I’m merely stating facts, Mrs. Seys."
Ariel Morris moved closer to Arlo Seys’s thin lips and gave them a fierce bite, "I’ll bite you, all you do is bully me."
Arlo Seys gazed at her tenderly, giving her cheek a soft peck, "Ariel, if you want to sleep in the future, just come to the lounge in my office. I hired you as a secretary to kill time, not to work yourself to death. Only I need to work hard between us, while you enjoy being a little lazy bug."
"The lazy bug has been feeling sluggish and sleepy lately, what should I do, my Prince Charming?"
Arlo Seys laughed, "Looks like I’ve been sufficiently hardworking at night these days. We’re a step closer to grandpa’s birthday gift, a little more effort and I’m sure the gift will soon be completed. Mrs. Seys, you’ve worked hard these days."
Ariel Morris’s cheeks instantly turned crimson, almost dripping blood, and she fiercely glared at the instigator.
Prince Charming, could you not use such a serious tone to talk about something so scandalous?! I really can’t match your level of composure ahhh!!!
After glaring at Arlo Seys, Ariel Morris, face still shy, planned to get up and go out to work.
She hadn’t completely stood up when her waist was encircled by a pair of long arms, and she instantly fell back into someone’s arms.

His eyes carried a teasing glint, and Ariel Morris rewrapped her arms around his neck, smiling sweetly, "Prince Charming, you mean for me to offer my body? I’m a proper secretary! I don’t sell my body!"
