Arlo stood up, put down the banquet guest list, and walked towards the door.Veralina approached her brother, "Adonis, what were you chatting with Arlo about?"
"We talked about some notable families in the business world," Adonis casually replied. "Sis, keep an eye on Arlo. I sense he’s setting up a chessboard, plotting something. Watch out for him, don’t let him fall, and immediately tell me if anything is wrong. The Quinn Family can always assist him."
Veralina’s face froze for a moment, then she nodded.
Adonis looked at Veralina, "Sis, does the Seys Family have any dealings with the Saxton Family in City T?"
Veralina shook her head, "No, why ask all of a sudden?"
Adonis spread out the guest list Arlo had drawn up, "Arlo suddenly invited the Saxton Family and asked quite a few questions about them. Why is he interested in the Saxton Family?"
Veralina sighed, "Adonis, you know, Arlo has a reserved temperament and deep thoughts. He wouldn’t tell us these things. His relationship with his father soured when he chose to leave politics for business and hasn’t improved since. Just thinking about it gives me a headache."
Adonis chuckled, "With my brother-in-law’s old-fashioned personality, I wouldn’t like him either. He only likes people to follow the path he’s planned. If I were Arlo, I wouldn’t bother with him! Arlo is definitely a good hand for business; look at how well Era has grown. How can my brother-in-law be so stubborn?"
"Stop it, watch your words! He’s still your brother-in-law." Veralina laughed.
Adonis sighed, "Sis, you truly are like spilled water. Only you can put up with your brother-in-law’s old-fashioned personality! Luckily, your son Arlo isn’t like him, otherwise, I’d be frustrated having two old-fashioned people to deal with."

For the Seys Family patriarch’s birthday banquet, Arlo prepared two invitations for the Morris Couple. It wasn’t by choice, but rather to maintain some superficial relationship with the Morris Couple since they are Ariel’s adoptive parents after all.

The invitation was sent back to the Morris home by Ariel Morris.
