Chapter 339: I Got Married
Chapter 339: I Got Married
"Bro, take me to Era on the way, I’ll skip driving today. I didn’t sleep well last night because I was up late finding someone for you," Nicole said with a smile to Arlo Seys."Okay." Arlo turned to his mother, Veralina Quinn, sitting beside him, "Mom, I remember the Seys Family has an heirloom silver bracelet."
The Seys family all looked at him, eyes filled with shock.
Dominic Seys, at the head of the table, looked at his grandson in surprise, "Arlo, you should know this bracelet is only meant for a certain person."
Arlo nodded, his voice softening, "Grandfather, I know. I’ve found the most suitable person for this bracelet; in this lifetime, only she deserves to wear it." Arlo paused for a moment, then straightforwardly declared, "I’m married. I’ve already registered with her. She’s now my wife."
The entire Seys family stared at him in shock.
Evan Seys’s face tightened, his voice carrying authority and discontent, "Already registered but didn’t bring her home to meet us? Do you even regard this family, or respect us elders?"
Veralina Quinn stepped in to defend her son, "Arlo did bring her home. I’ve met her; she’s a good girl." She turned to her son, "Arlo, wait. I’ll go upstairs to get the bracelet for you."
Veralina Quinn went upstairs.
Enzo Seys laughed teasingly, "So yesterday, Arlo was looking for someone to help me find my future niece-in-law? Arlo, make sure to bring her back sometime so we can see her. Your second uncle is waiting to drink at your wedding."
Arlo smiled faintly, "Thank you, Uncle."
Dominic Seys chimed in, "You must bring her back. I haven’t met my granddaughter-in-law yet! Bring her back soon so I can see her! Seeing Arlo married is a relief for our family’s future."
Nicole smiled at Dominic Seys, saying, "Grandfather, you’ll definitely like her. I get along well with my sister-in-law."
Dominic Seys beamed, delighted, "Really? You know her too? Nicole, is she good-natured? Where is she from? What’s her family like?"
Nicole was about to answer with a smile when Arlo’s calm voice interrupted, "She’s very ordinary, not a high society socialite, not particularly outstanding. She doesn’t come from an impressive family, but she’s the only one I’ll marry in this life. Grandfather, I hope you understand. She may mean nothing to others, but to me, she’s worth more than a hundred Eras."
Enzo Seys laughed heartily, teasing, "Our family has a romantic."
Dominic Seys also laughed approvingly, "Arlo, my grandson is always the best. I believe in your judgment. Bring her back for a meal. What you like, your grandfather will like too."
Arlo smiled warmly, "Thank you, Grandfather."
Evan scoffed coldly, glancing at his son, "His judgment is good? That teenage romance from eight years ago ended in nothing! He chose business over politics! Stubborn as a mule!"
Just then Veralina Quinn came downstairs holding the bracelet.
"His stubbornness is inherited from you! Arlo just didn’t follow your arranged path into politics; that’s why you keep holding a grudge, right? You didn’t believe in Arlo’s business venture initially, but look at Era’s success now. What are you dissatisfied with? Arlo chose business; I support my son!"
Evan’s face remained stern, letting out a cold snort as he ate his breakfast.
Veralina Quinn handed the bracelet to Arlo, smiling gently, "Don’t mind your dad’s foul temper. Whatever you do, mom supports you. Here’s the bracelet, take it."
Arlo took the bracelet, a faint smile forming on his lips.

Arlo gave Nicole a ride, bringing along the food and storage box Aunt Forest had prepared, heading back to Royal View City to pick up Ariel Morris and go to work at Era together.
