Chapter 13 : The Native Forces Nearby

Not long after, Bai Yu saw Arthur in the sky flying back toward the castle. Clutched in its front claw was a green creature.

“Oh, Arthur even knows to capture it alive. Intelligent undead really are different.”

Arthur soon returned to the castle, landing before Bai Yu and dropped the goblin aside.

The goblin immediately started kowtowing, trembling all over.

“Honorable human master, I beg you don’t kill me, I’ll tell you everything!”

“Your majesty, this was a suspicious intelligent creature from nearby the castle. I specifically left one and brought it back to interrogate.”

Arthur respectfully said from the side.

Bai Yu eyed the goblin with interest. It was about 1.5 meters tall, had green skin all over, and a pair of pointy ears sticking out from its head.

It even knew to grovel.

This goblin had clearly been scared shitless. It had never encountered anything like this before, just the protective barrier around the castle  alone gave it a huge sense of danger.

Bai Yu would ask something, and the goblin would answer something.

This goblin was called Jinitaimei. Bai Yu just decided to call it Little Green Bean for now.

South of the Krabby Patty castle, past the swamp, was a hidden underground cave. Little Green Bean and its goblin tribe lived there.

There were around one thousand goblins, forming a small tribe. Because the distance wasn’t too far from the snowy mountains and goblins were naturally timid, they mostly avoided going out during the day.

There were actually goblins, maybe there will be leprechauns too. Wouldn’t finding leprechauns mean getting rich.

But Little Green Bean’s later words completely shattered Bai Yu’s fantasy. Leprechauns and goblins were different, they were organized in this fantasy world. Basically all leprechauns resided under the rule of the leprechaun king, wanting to find a leprechaun outside of the leprechaun kingdom was unlikely.

A kingdom, how big would that be?

According to Little Green Bean, the strongest in their tribe was their tribe leader at commander tier. There were also some lv 9 goblin warriors and mages.

So strong? Then how fucking strong was the dragon on the snowy mountains?

Turns out she was the real useless small fry here?

The snowy mountains contained two different forces. They say two, but the one frost dragon was strong enough to compete against the other force.

The other force was naturally the howling moon silver wolves Bai Yu ran into before, totaling around 3000. The pack had around 7 or 8 commander tiers, with the leader even stronger.

But there was no way it was a king, otherwise the goblin tribe would’ve been doomed long ago.

Only howling moon silver wolves that have reached level 7 can transform into a werewolf. There weren’t many werewolves among the howling moon silver wolves, most were just unintelligent wolves.

Howling moon silver wolves also got a big strength boost during full moons. Under the baptism of the full moon, even some normal howling moon silver wolves can transform into werewolves.

Bai Yu was shocked, it was so outrageous?

It’s over. Stuff like wolves were vengeful as hell, this time she was in some big trouble!

Bai Yu went silent. Seeing this little human girl going quiet, Little Green Bean also tactfully shut up.

Bai Yu suddenly thought of something and asked Little Green Bean,

“Have you guys seen any other castles like mine?”

Little Green Bean’s expression changed instantly. Bai Yu sensed something was off and directly stepped on its head with her size 36 flipflops.

“Speak!”

“I’ll talk, I’ll talk, please have mercy! Before, our tribe really did find a castle like yours that suddenly appeared out of nowhere nearby, but it’s gone now.”

Little Green Bean hurriedly begged for mercy.

“Gone? Speak clearly!”

Bai Yu pressed harder with her foot.

“Not long after that castle appeared, some unknown clansmen of ours came out from it to start hunting. After talking with them, we learned that they had been enslaved by the castle’s human lord. In order to save them, we got those clansmen to devise a plan and trick the human lord out of the castle, and kill… killed him.”

Little Green Bean trembled as it spoke, its heart was about to jump out. In his eyes, Bai Yu and that previous lord must have been together, so they had killed her comrade.

Ah?

Bai Yu was dumbfounded.

There were such unlucky people? This fellow summoned goblins as his troops, but was schemed against and killed by his own troops?

That’s way too cliche, right?

Rest in peace fellow townsman, I’ll help you get revenge!

But I, Bai Yu, still need to roast you a bit. Aren’t you way too fucking dumb, daring to go out of the castle on the first day, isn’t that just asking to die.

Bai Yu silently thought. It was definitely not for resources or whatever, but purely to help avenge this fellow townsman she had never met before.

Thankfully her undead unit type was unique.

Bai Yu let out a breath of relief, this kind of situation definitely wouldn’t happen to her.

But didn’t the system say that the castle would disappear after the lord dies, or if the castle crystal was smashed, and it was over for the lord as well. Bai Yu asked Little Green Bean again,

“After that guy died, is the castle still there?”

“The castle just disappeared, as if it never existed before. But we found 500 magic crystals and 5 spirit cores where the castle used to be.”

Little Green Bean relaxed quite a bit seeing Bai Yu had no intentions of killing it and obediently responded.

Was this the reward for eliminating a lord?

Wasn’t that way too much. If this became known to other lords, then once the newbie protection week was over, a bloodbath would start before the native forces even did anything.

Bai Yu mentally noted that down.

In other words, this goblin tribe had at least 500 magic crystals and 5 spirit cores?

Bai Yu’s conviction to help avenge this fellow townsman became even firmer!

Bai Yu also found out why this group of goblins dared to come out during the day, they had set their sights on her!

No one expected that before they could even reach the castle, they would be discovered and eliminated by the flying Aruther first.

“Thank you for telling me so much, otherwise I would still be clueless. The outside world is so scary.”

Bai Yu smiled as she said.

“Honorable human master, I said everything I know. Please spare my life.”

Little Green Bean said while kneeling on the ground.

“Okay!”

Little Green Bean instantly lifted its head and gratefully looked at Bai Yu.

 “Arthur, send him to meet his great grandmother!”

Even though Arthur didn’t understand what Bai Yu was saying, it saw the killing intent in her eyes.

Before the Little Green Bean had a chance to be happy, Arthur’s dragon breath turned it into a frozen ice sculpture.

You bastard!

That was Little Green Bean’s very last thought.

But, this was a level 5 skeletal warrior, you know. How could Bai Yu give it up, she could only wrong Little Green Bean and have it stay by her side forever.

“Now there’s three level 5 skeletal warriors, hehe.”

“Arthur, you go bring back the other goblin corpses too. Then continue leveling up!”

Goblins didn’t drop food but equipment instead. To Bai Yu, the equipment was useless, did she just find another business opportunity?
