If an Extraordinary Dragon Rider suddenly defected and rushed the Central Imperial Capital or a major city in the Northern Territory to assassinate high-ranking officials, almost no one could stop them.
Under the constraints of the No-Fly Magic Array, no Extraordinary Dragon Rider could take flight within the city unless they received special permission from one of the successive Emperors of Gulad.
This reduced their threat to a minimum.

This was also the source of the Northern Territory Duke’s confidence when he had previously stated, "As long as we occupy the Central Imperial Capital, we won’t need to fear Flame Emperor Galukasa."
He believed that by simply crowning himself king in the Central Imperial Capital, he would gain full Control over the No-Fly Magic Array. He could then intercept any Extraordinary Dragon Cavalry trying to fly back to the Imperial Capital with Flame Emperor Galukasa.
But what the Duke of the Northern Territory didn’t know was...
...that while the Extraordinary Mage Nesia had obtained permission to use the No-Fly Magic Array in the Central Imperial Capital, he had not truly acquired the rights of succession for it.
Only with personal authorization from the current Flame Emperor Galukasa could the Duke of the Northern Territory truly Control this special Magic Array and use it to restrain Galukasa and his Royal Dragon Cavalry, preventing them from easily retaking the Central Imperial Capital, their core city.
In short, Nesia had used his status as an Extraordinary Mage to deceive the Duke of the Northern Territory.
He had claimed to the Duke that as long as he obtained permission to use the No-Fly Magic Array, he could use his Powerful Magic knowledge to alter the succession rights, changing the ultimate controller from Flame Emperor Galukasa to the Duke of the Northern Territory.
But these words were pure nonsense.
Nesia didn’t have that kind of ability at all.
Even the most powerful group of Extraordinary Mage Masters in Ventecenia couldn’t accomplish such a feat.
As for Nesia’s goal, it was simple and clear.
He had deliberately provoked a complete falling out between the Duke of the Northern Territory and Flame Emperor Galukasa to make them fight until both sides were grievously wounded, thereby weakening the Gulad Empire, the most Powerful force in this Lord World.
Only by doing so could he pave the way for the Great Evil God he worshipped, helping it to completely conquer this world.

The battle began in earnest. Countless Undead Creatures swarmed toward the city walls like a tide, their ranks interspersed with Siege Vehicles built by the Minotaur Kingdom, as well as siege equipment and Cloud Ascending Ladders that Qin Feng had plundered from other northern cities. The sight was truly immense.
On the walls of Dick City, the small Northern Territory army, led by the Duke’s Son, fought back desperately, striking down the Undead Soldiers climbing up the Cloud Ascending Ladders and regular ladders.
But unfortunately, the disparity in military strength between the two sides was simply too great.
Furthermore, the Undead Army was made of top-tier cannon fodder who knew no fear of death. They were born with the same Powerful abilities as Divine Chosen Soldiers; even a severe injury like a severed arm wouldn’t affect their combat capabilities in the slightest.
And so, Dick City couldn’t even hold out for a single morning before it was easily breached and completely occupied by the Undead Army led by Arthas.
The Lord Players following behind Qin Feng, hoping to leech some points, also managed to luckily kill a batch of Northern Territory soldiers, causing their rankings on the event leaderboard to climb steadily.
Unfortunately, the intensity of this battle was a far cry from a true large-scale war.
Therefore, their event rankings still lagged far behind the members of the Hafke Alliance who were fighting on the main battlefield.
But everyone wore a satisfied smile.
Because they didn’t need to surpass those top-tier expert players at all.
They just needed to rank higher than the ordinary players who hadn’t pledged allegiance to the Holy Empire.
