"It's the Tianming of the Sword Sect."

The guard snapped to, "Entry fee, three silver coins each."

The guard spoke to Qin Yi, but his eyes stayed glued on Yun Mengyao.

"Don't you want your eyes?" Yun Mengyao said angrily.

The guard chuckled, "You're joking, Fairy. I still need these eyes to look at fairies like you; how could I not want them?"

Qin Yi, however, stopped her and, looking at the other's attire, frowned, "Are you from the City Lord's Mansion?"

"City Lord's Mansion?" The guard looked at Qin Yi like an idiot. "Here, the Tianming Sect makes the rules."

Tianming Sect? Qin Yi couldn't understand why someone would use that name. Turns out they were from a sect, no wonder they weren't wearing armor.

Qin Yi tossed six silver coins over, pulling the fuming Yun Mengyao into the city.

"Why did you stop me from teaching him a lesson?"

Qin Yi smirked, "He was complimenting your beauty; why teach him a lesson?"

"But he was leering at me with ill intentions for sure."

Qin Yi chuckled, "Even you don't have good intentions, and you expect others to?"

Yun Mengyao's face blushed, "Neither of us are, but I know how dirty you men's minds are."

"The love of beauty is universal; allowing yourself to look beautiful means allowing others to look at you. Otherwise, what's the point of your beauty, like fine clothes worn at night?"

Yun Mengyao thought for a moment, "Makes sense. Ah, being pretty is a sin. Unfortunately, this lady is destined to be unattainable for you dirty men."
