Chapter 508 – Visiting Kids With Priestesses

Chapter 508 – Visiting Kids With Priestesses

First stop is Fertility's temple in the lower realm. I think Fertility slowed the Priestess's pregnancies down for fun and show. But the kids are free now, and I want to visit them even if I have to take my second body over to them instead of my main one.

Yzzorres really does make everything a pain.

With Space teleporting me everywhere, I don't have to worry about guards. The temples will keep me plenty safe. Victoria is more for show, and maybe she'll slip up and offer to spread her legs for me? Of course, this is the wrong body to get her pregnant. I wonder if she knows that?

Kids. Focus on the ones born. It isn't like this body to think about getting my wives pregnant!

"Ready to fucking go in?" Victoria asks.

"Yes," I say. "I'm used to meeting my kids at this point."

Victoria gives out a sad chuckle and moves the door with her mana. Just another reason for the nobles to hate her. All that muscle, and she still uses mana to open a door. Not that I blame her. The stupid show of power the nobles do with the damn doors is kind of sad.

"Welcome, Our Champion, Empress Alzi," The High Priestess says with a bow. It looks like they haven't started putting on the fake bellies yet. I hope that practice stops when more men join the world. They can just have real bellies instead of making the women feel bad that they can't always be pregnant like the priestesses. "Here for the kids?"

"Yes," I say.

"This way, Our Champion," The High Priestess says. "Let me take her so you can focus on your other kids."

Lactation practically jumps from my arms to the priestess. The High Priestess gives me a little chuckle and shows why Lactation was so happy to betray me. A tit pops out, and Lactation latches quickly.

"She won't stop," I sigh.

"I know," The High Priestess says. "But don't worry. Fertility believes she should join our temple when she grows up. She is a prominent part of life."

Part of life? What, our temple? Does Fertility think I'm going to be the Goddess of Life now? Will I be the main Goddess of the temple?

The High Priestess leads me to the priestesses' rooms, doing her best to avoid whatever crowd exists in the main chamber.

There is a number of cribs filled with babies and a few priestesses watching over them. I take off going down the row to learn their names, repeating them over and over in my head till they no longer sound like a word. I've found that is the only way for me to remember them for a short time. Over time, I built a little saying that describes the child, and that helps plant their name in my memory forever.

I should create a poem with all the sayings. It wouldn't flow very well, but it would be beautiful to me.

"We were surprised when a few men popped out," The High Priestess says. "Is that how you knew so quickly, Our Champion?"

"Yes," I say. "Fertility hasn't told you?"

"We know her old edict is gone, Our Champion," the High Priestess says. "But we didn't know we would be affected as well. The world is healing, it seems."

"More than we know it," I say on instinct. I don't know why that feels so true, but it has to be. I told the Queens to improve everyone's life together, and mine is amazing. Just some small annoyances here and there.

"We'll leave you alone with them for a bit," The High Priestess says. "We're busier than ever. Thank you, Life. We can't wait to serve you alongside our Goddess."

Someone is trying to get in my good graces. But I already have my first angel. I do have to wonder how easy it will be for me to get a temple. Will Fertility just give hers up? Will I slowly take them over or something? I could see Fertility being happy not to be the star of the temple and take a small section that she can mostly ignore.

Problem for the next century, or something. "Oh, babies, you're so cute," I say. I'll come up with a schedule so they can meet their siblings and other mothers. "I love you all."

...

Ok, I forgot about getting to Hearth's temple from Fertility's temple. A small mistake was made because I forgot to tell Kou I was leaving. In fact, she is probably just now learning about my kids with the Priestesses being born. Maybe she'll send Nanoka after me?

"Fuck, you forgot about this," Victoria says. "You should've fucked explained what the fuck we were doing to your damn maids, or fucking tell me before we leave that we'll be visiting more than one place. I could've fucking figured out how to get us around."

"Well, do you have one?" I ask.

"Fuck no, but it looks like that dumbass Elora figured out you were fucking stuck," Victoria says, pointing at some carriages coming our way.

"Ah, yes," I say. "Kou is good at fixing problems. Your tongue must be classified as something else if she still hasn't been able to improve it."

"Yes, it isn't a fucking problem," Victoria says.

I chuckle and give her a little hug as the carriage with the royal emblem stops in front of the temple. A guard opens the door to the middle carriage, and Victoria leads the way in. I sit in Victoria's lap, resting against her. Victoria gives a little sigh but wraps me in a hug, and the carriage lurches forward.

It's a short trip to Hearth's temple, still a small home in the grand city. The guards open the carriage door for me, and I step out, Victoria right on my heels, probably mad that I didn't wait for her to give me the all clear. But I only have to take three steps before I'm inside Hearth's temple.

"Oh, I was wondering how quickly you would get here," Hearth's Priestess says. "Welcome. Sit down. Sit down. I'll gather the kids." She's yet again sewing patches in old clothing. I wonder if she ever runs out. "They're sleeping right now. But with some help from the Goddess, they'll make it out here without being disturbed."

"No, let me," I say. "I'm not pregnant, and I haven't given birth with this body. I can do it."

"Let me," another Priestess says. "I can't stand by while the Empress works."

"Oh, you did get another Priestess," I say.

"Of course I did," The High Priestess says. "I had too many in me not to get some help. You are eager. Get them. It does make sense for you to do it."

"I could just go back there?" I ask.

"Yes, you have been back there already," The High Priestess says. "Go on. Show her, and try not to have too much fun with my new priestess. We need to be mobile for the kids."

"I'll do my best," I say, already to the door. Once again finding filled cribs with my babies in them.

More names to learn, and more memories to make.

"Hello, my babies," I say. "I love you all."

"You're a special woman, Life," the Priestess says. "Sorry, Empress Alzi. I believe you when you say you love them all. And I know you have that same feeling for the many others you have. I'll give you sometime alone with them."

"Not yet," I say. "You have to tell me their names, then try to drag that old woman back here. We should spend some time with them together."

"I'll get her to tell you their names then," The Priestess says.

...

"Going fucking home?" Victoria asks. I'm back in her lap, Lactation being greedy as always.

"No, but thank you for not cussing inside her temple," I say.

"I just stood there fucking silent," Victoria says.

"I know that's the only way you don't cuss," I say. "Hearth is a strange one. But her priestesses are nice. Yes, we're going home. My third body can handle something with Dragon. I don't have anything else to do but get back to my kids."

"That's fucking nice," Victoria says.

*** Alzi, Third Body with Zarzi and Elo ***

Well, looks like I have to get this body up to Dragon.

"Oh, you want to see little old me?" the giant dragon goddess asks. "I'm hardly a giant."

"You're the biggest Goddess I've seen," I say. "Is what Yzzorres told me right?"

"More or less," Dragon says. She snorts at me as I wonder about what she would look like in human form. Daring me to join her in the lava bath.

"You have another form," I say.

"Yes, don't care to show it," Dragon huffs. "Come on. Join me in the pool. The war was more or less as described. Ryze held off all my dragons through tricks and scare tactics till the elves found a way to kill her. Then it was a bloodbath. Few true dragons or phoenixes lived to see the end of the war. They care about territory more, so they couldn't help themselves. The land split again, proving how stupid it was ever to fight to begin with. The true beings couldn't handle the fact that they were played, likely by the Kitsunes. The fighting continued, and Yzzorres hid away. I always tell her she was smart for doing that, but I don't think she cares what I say. I hope you can help her through that. It would be best if she didn't carry that bag to the divine realm."

I decide to join Dragon in the lava. I'll have to work hard later to get her to show her human form.

"She doesn't like talking," I say. "But maybe the kids will force her to open up. If she thinks I'm about to let her sleep through their childhood, she's mistaken. I'm not about to let her be an absent parent."

"That should help her," Dragon says. "Get Elo to give us a few more broods, and I'll think about letting you see me in my human form."

"Oh, I've been called life a few times today," I say. "Elo has plenty more life to give. I'm now expecting to see you transform in a few years. My broods come fast."

"Of course, you demand something I said I would think about," Dragon huffs.

"I've got a greedy family," I say.

"Like any good dragon," Dragon says. "Now, let us relax and soak in the warmth. I don't think we have anything else to talk about."

"Well, I did transform while pregnant in the divine realm."

"I could do that as well. The divine realm lets you cheat."

"Good to know," I say. "Now we can sleep."
