Chapter 474 – Blowing off Steam
Chapter 474 – Blowing off Steam
"One last thing," I say. "Is it ok if Geta helps me kill some priestesses? I think it'll get me feeling normal again."
"Go for it," Death says. "I hope you feel better. Thank you for visiting. Leave enough women in the world that I'll have future generations to reap."
"I'm not about to complete Sex's request," I say. "I just need to fulfill my promise to Fyserreia, and then kill the bitches the fucked up my first court appearance."
"Go get them," Death says. "The Goddesses won't mind those priestesses dying. But be careful going beyond them."
"I'll be a good little girl."
"You have been the entire time. Go get some food and rest. It's been a hard day for you."
"Thanks," I say. The private room appears around me again.
"I was going to tell you," Geta starts.
"She didn't care, and she said you knew she wouldn't care. It's fine," I say. "I've got permission for things that I need, so we'll have some fun doing that. Death told me to get some food and sleep, so I'll do that, and then tomorrow we have a busy day."
"Ok," Geta says.
"Then she also told me you were quite happy about being in the ritual," I say. "I may need to find a different punishment for you. But for now, I can just have dinner. I'm sure Kou is screaming about me not eating enough already."
Geta understands her position and picks me up. Nanoka just happens to rest one of her tails on my arm.
"Yes, I do think Kou would love us having dinner," Nanoka says.
"Yes, My Empress," Kou says. "Some food and sleep would be good for you and the babies. Your other bodies are doing better than the pregnant one for eating. A bit backwards, I think. Same thing for you, Nanoka. You need to eat as well. I'm going to need to create a strict food schedule soon for the pregnant wives. This current method isn't working."
"Sorry," I say.
"It isn't your fault, My Empress," Kou says. "You will often break my schedule. I understand that. But Grandma has no excuses. My Aunts need to come out healthy. But I need to find ways to make sure you get some food, even if it's just snacks. That is for me to solve. Probably by carrying snacks around and making sure Victoria doesn't run off with you. I'll have it solved tomorrow."
"Well, off to dinner," Nanoka says as we walk into the moonlight. What did Fertility do to keep me around for so long?
...
"Sorry, my Empress," Kou says. "Shyla is in labor again. Kelly is with her, but they would both love for you to help and be there with your kid when she comes into the world."
"Oh, yeah," I mumble. "Eterna? I would like to help Shyla. I was kind of mean to her with the pregnancies."
"We can go together," Eterna says.
It's not like she's the only one burying me in bed. Mai made it in, Elyne, of course, Syro, and Mommy are just a few of the other women acting as my blanket. I should get Nanoka here as well. She'll feel the need when she starts to show.
"Everyone, give my Empress some room to get up," Kou says. "Eterna, you can come along. Next time, I'm bringing Nakuma or Nanoka around. You're too hard to get out of bed quickly otherwise."
"We're moving," Elyne groans. "I have two wombs full of kids."
"I'm happy My Empress is sleeping with her wives, Lady Elyne," Kou says. "Just need you to all let my Empress get to the women in labor."
"I'm awake," Nanoka says. "Shall we head out?"
"Yes," I say.
Nanoka takes three of us to Aurora and Shyla's room. Shyla's sitting up in her bed with Aurora to her side. Kelly's looking between her legs.
"You're doing well, Shyla," Kelly says. "We've got a bit of time till the pushing starts."
"Sorry for the delay," I say.
"We're happy you're here," Aurora says. "We weren't sure if you would be ready to get up."
"It's for my kids," I say. "I'm happy to be here. This is my little experiment. Where are we at?"
"Almost dilated," Kelly says. "Come take over, or do you just want to be a supporter?"
"Shyla? Your choice," I say.
"Both?" Shyla asks. "This one feels different."
"Happy to do both," I say, waddling into her bed. I need to limit how many kids I let myself take.
...
"One more push," I say. Eterna is behind me, holding my belly for some reason. It feels great, but I do wonder what made her do it. Kelly is just holding Shyla's hand with Aurora. I suppose Shyla is my concubine, so close enough to wives holding hands. "Perfect. A little girl? Um." 'Space? Did Fertility do something in the world?'
"Girl? What do you mean?" Shyla asks.
'I don't know,' Space says. 'You'll have to ask her. But you aren't the only one in the world, even before this child was born.'
'I guess,' I say. "You have a herm. A male? Both. Not sure what to say. I've always thought women, but we'll have to let them pick. And there's the alert. Funny, just says male. I should've asked my dad what his alert said."
I've got plenty of girls, a few boys, and now a herm. I need to ask Fertility how she plans to fix the gender balance. I wonder if being the Goddess of Life would let me fix it as well, or maybe as the Goddess of Mothers?
Did Death tell me about that just to distract me from my sadness?
"Alzi? Are you ok?" Shyla asks.
"I'm stupid," I say.
"Go bring her your child," Eterna says. "Lay with your mate." I feel her give me a soft push to take Kelly's place by Shyla's side. "You're not stupid. You've been forced to the point where you break, but you refused to. You're smart."
"A dragon," Shyla says. "We've made very cute kids. Thank you, Alzi. I'm happy to be with you and our kids. You're an amazing wife and a lady to serve. Look at what we've created together. You've made the most out of your life. You'll trip over your past. It'll drag you down. That's how life works."
"I guess," I say. "Please hold them. You did the work."
"We can hold them together," Shyla says. "Let's get some sleep for a bit."
"We'll watch over you and the kid," Kelly says. "Get some rest. Get some sleep."
"Ok," I say. "Tell Geta, Victoria, and the succubus sisters to be ready for a fight. I have to fulfill my promise with Fyserreia. Anyone else who wants to fight with some priestesses. Death said it was ok."
"I'll get a party together, My Empress," Kou says. "Eterna, you don't have a choice. You're coming with them."
"Happily," Eterna says. "You didn't get to see my first work for you. I'll give you a better example this time. I'm more than a chicken."
"I know," I say. "Thank you."
...
"Are we going to fight?" Geta asks. "Oh, sorry. I was wondering when it was going to start. She's cute."
"They," I say. "Has both. Now is good enough. Thank you for your time, Shyla. I do feel better. Eterna, are you ready?"
"Of course!" Eterna says. "You told me to be ready."
"Did we get Victoria up?" I ask.
"I'm glad I didn't take a kid with me," Kou says. "But she bugged Yuki to come and help her put her armor on. She's ready and happy to join. Syro wants to join, and Ioelena as well. Yumanea offered to come by if you wish to have her."
"I'll take the help," I say. "But I have the problem of getting there. Need to get Space to help us."
"I can get Nanoka to take us there," Geta says. "Death is technically part of that temple. But Space would be an easier method to get there."
"This feels a lot better," I say. "Like a family. Kind of. I did order you all to do this, but everyone seems happy to join. Is Elora around?"
"She's ready if you want her, My Empress," Kou says. "Everyone not pregnant is willing to show up. Even Mai."
"Mai... does have the ability to fight, right? If she wants to be sure. I said we're a family. I'm going while pregnant, so why not? Ilka and Akhae?"
"Ilka, yes," Kou says. "Akhae doesn't really fight. I think she wants to help you with calming your Mother down about you running off to a fight again."
"Should I have armor?" I ask.
"No," Geta says. "Fyserreia and Sarania will be your guards, with me staying around. You'll be safe. Yumanea will bring the royal guards as well. You'll be perfectly safe."
"Ok," I say. "They are pregnant, they shouldn't do too much. But Fyserreia is going to want to do some of the killing."
"I'll capture Nature's Priestess for her," Geta says. "Shyla, do you have a dress for Alzi to wear? The rest are in armor already. Except Eterna."
"Of course," Shyla says. "Kou, if you could please."
A red dress floats in the room, and Kou gives us a little bow and waits for me to shuffle out of bed. My third body should probably be the one to go out instead of the pregnant body, but too bad.
'Space, please?'
'Happily,' Space says. 'Just group up out front of the castle, and I'll send you on your way. Just be ready for some old Goddesses getting mad at you.'
'It's their fault for being stupid.'
'Then do it quickly.'
...
Yumanea did bring the guards. Nesh and Lotus are coming as well, it seems. I guess Lotus did miss the last war.
"Thank you all for joining me," I say. "Fyserreia, a good friend and new servant of the family, was disgraced by this temple. Together, as a family, we're going to prove our power and how bold we are. A dragon is leading this Queendom now. Nobles don't seem to understand that, and I think this will be a good method to fix that silly issue while getting some revenge. Space is helping us get there and should be taking us shortly... Or right now."
This time, Space took us outside the temple. A bit away, probably for me to keep clear of the fighting. But why is Victoria in front of me? She looks good in a suit of armor, her backside included, but wasn't she in the back... Oh, I was moved to the back of the pack. Yumanea is in front now. At least Fyserreia and Sarania were moved back here with me.
Space thinking things through.
"Fyserreia, do you have anything you want to yell? I don't care too much about saying anything," I say.
"No, I just want to kill a few of them."
"Geta was going to get you Nature's Priestess," I say. "I'm surprised she is still around. Would've thought she would've gotten kicked out when her Goddess died."
"I guess I can live with that," Fyserreia says. "Your Mother gave me an ear full about attacking Justice's temple while pregnant."
"Good, you deserved that," I say. "Eterna, do you want to start it off?"
