Chapter 429 – How Convenient

"My Queen," Kou says. "It is the morning."

"Really?" I ask. How did Victoria turn me into a teddy bear without me waking up! I was hugging her! Was I really that tired, or does she have a lot of practice with Stacy? "Is there something I have to do?"

"Court," Kou says. "But you can have Elo handle it today. She won't be able to handle things for long without getting healed; she's quite weak. But a few days will work if you have things you need to do, my Queen."

"I do," I say. "Too many things. Elo is waiting on Yuki, who is waiting on supplies. The temple should finish getting the supplies soon, and I'll drop everything and complete that. I doubt Elo's having a good time right now. I honestly was surprised she's able to move like that." Is old age really that much of a problem, or is her soul and mana not as badly damaged? Should be a good test subject, then Tanatsu should have a few more test subjects for me till I work on her lover. That woman is going to be a mess with how different women have been combined into her. She seems to be herself still, so it should still be fine. "Um, I need to ask Elyne and Ioelena for something."

"I'm sure they would love to talk to you, my Queen," Kou says. "Your Mother is getting breakfast. Or would you rather talk to some of your other wives first?"

"I guess we can get to Ioelena and Elyne first," I say. "They may have us doing some traveling, so figuring out if that is needed and what is needed."

"And Victoria, my Queen?"

"I think she's awake," I say. "Her breathing has changed. Just need to get both of us to want to get up."

"Of fucking course," Victoria says. "You two didn't even fucking try to let me keep fucking sleeping. I feel fucking relaxed as shit, and you're waking me the fuck up early."

"Sorry," I say. "But I need to get up, but you can stay in bed if you want."

"Fine," Victoria says. "I'm just bitching to bitch. Thank you for last night."

So I just need to get Victoria to only talk in one-word sentences. Or would she start finding out how to answer questions with curses? But she lets me free of her strong arms, and I roll out of bed. I'm getting big.

"Would there be a problem if others are around when talking to them, my Queen?" Kou asks. I'm guessing she doesn't care about Victoria's extra sleep.

"I don't think so," I say. "Should just be about finding some women and fairies and pixies."

"You've had a meeting with someone last night," Kou says. "But it should be fine for others to hear about that. It's just breakfast, so you don't have to change if you don't want to, my Queen."

"That would be great," I say.

Shimmer was the first one I saw in the room. I'm not sure what the name of the room should be; Elyne is next. Syro, Elora, and Ioelena are all around a table.

"Welcome," Shimmer says. "Glad to see you had a good night. You're looking far along, but you are carrying a lot. Is Victoria pregnant?"

"Hello," I say. "No, I managed to keep it to just a massage. I have questions for Elyne and Ioelena, actually. And you shouldn't all be eating breakfast in different rooms. We are married now, and we should start working together, I guess. It would make some of these things easier. Mommy would like to see the kids more as well."

"Sorry about that," Shimmer says. "We'll start working on it. I'm happy you had a good time with Victoria last night. It was nice spending time with your Mother. She's a very kind woman. Please join us, and we will work better on getting along with everyone from now on."

Is she going back to her old talkative self? It would be nice for her to stop being so scared. She's a lot better of a toy if she's a bit proud until I need to put her collar back on. I wonder what will happen when I go back to her realm. Should I wait till I give birth to go back?

"Sure," I say. "It was a nice night. Victoria likes to cuddle. I have another ritual I need to do. This one should be a lot nicer than the last one, well, the one that killed all of Nature's beasts. No sacrifices, just some sex and supplies. Ioelena, I need your help with some supplies. Pixie and Fairy dust specifically."

"Ah," Ioelena says. "Pixie, I can help with. Fairies don't like me that much, but my sister can help, or my Mother. I'm sure they would be happy to help you."

"That works," I say. "Do pixies trick women into thinking they're pregnant?" Kou just shakes her head as she puts some pancakes down in front of me. "A being in the divine realm told me about that. You can't say I'm crazy to worry about it with all my pregnancy issues."

"I haven't heard of that one," Ioelena says. "But I wouldn't put it past them to try it. I don't think it would work on you. They aren't so strong that they could trick the Champion of Fertility about her fertility. They may try to trick you into giving them kids. They will try to do that. But they'll give plenty of dust for it."

"Well, that's great to hear," I say. "It would be sad if I were tricked about kids, quite a strange worry for me. I would probably just actually get pregnant from their trick if you could ask your family to start preparing for us to show up. They don't have to get the dust before we show up or anything. Just don't want to drop in suddenly."

"I'm sure they'll have everything ready for us," Ioelena says. "My family has gotten good dealing with them, if their hair doesn't scare the fairies away."

"That'll be nice to visit," I say. "I'll see if I can fix the fairy's thoughts on your hair."

"Thank you, dear," Ioelena. "It will be nice to see my family again."

"Good," I say. "Now, the slightly more awkward thing. Elyne, I need a woman with two wombs to be the center of the ritual. I've been told your people are most likely to have that for me."

"Oh, really," Elyne says, a hand going to where her human womb would be. She is scared of me, isn't she?

"That is convenient," Elora says.

"You just had to say something," Elyne says. "Yes. I have that very thing. If you want me to be the center."

"That would simplify things," I say. "Is that why you were scared of me? Worried about carrying a brood in both wombs?"

"Kind of," Elyne says. "You could do it and have a few women carrying them right now. Can't say it is an unfounded fear."

"No," I say. "It's likely to happen now. Sorry, I'll help you through it."

"I don't know if you're joking about that or serious," Elyne says. "Just know you'll need to help me. I don't think anyone has dealt with giving birth from both wombs together. I'm not going to be excited to go through that, but I will be happy for the kids."

"You'll get a break after the pregnancies," I say. "This is an important thing for us all. This will help us all. I think you'll find it to be a relaxing pregnancy." She really is just taunting me to fill her up. Have Yuki, Nakuma, Shimmer, and Elyne in a bed for me to mess with. Even Nanoka is going to be big. Oh, that is going to be a nice bed. "I've got ideas for the pregnancies. Thank you for the help. The last thing I need is a group that has wronged me for sex that isn't my wives or mates."

"You had a breeding card from the Chavarelli family, my Queen," Kou says. "Do you have a count for women? I don't know how many of them lived. But you could take the brothel owner's wives to fill it out as needed."

"Would they still have to follow that?" I ask.

"They would be stupid to take it back now," Elora says. "That family is on the way down. Had a male child a bit ago, and that was supposed to be their way up, but he turned out to be a bit weak, so it didn't help them as much as they hoped. They don't have the chance to say no to a Queen, Champion, and the best breeder in the realm. They'll do it even though, yes, they don't have to agree to it technically. I doubt she thought about that side if it was given near the end of your time in the brothel. She would've wanted you to come by and get them all pregnant in the hope that some of the kids were strong or a male."

"She reacted quickly. Do you think she wanted that to happen?" I ask.

"Maybe," Elora says. "What happened?"

"She bought a dance with her and a man," I say. "Then the man couldn't keep his hands to himself. She cut his arm off or something and gave me the card and ran out."

"Yes, that could be planned," Elora says. "Everyone was wondering what happened with that man. His value didn't change much from that incident. I doubt he was in on it, but she knew it would happen, I think. Growing up thinking he was going to be the savior of the family causes a lot of problems. As you know."

"I would say she wronged me then," I say. "So great. That leaves just the land and dust for this. Don't share this with your Mother, Elora. Or anyone who may start talking to Goddesses about things."

"Love," Elora sighs. "That is a scary way of ending things. But we'll do it. I'm sure you have a good reason. Just be careful and think things through before you act. You do a lot of incredible things when you do that."

"I'll try," I say.

"Good, you're here," Yuki says. "I got the supplies and can start making the needed potions. When do you need the first batch? I can do it in bulk or get the first batch done quickly."

"Quickly," I say. "You got here fast."

"Nakuma can be useful for things," Yuki says. "She got stuck at the temple for a bit. I can finish the first batch today, then. Just need a room to work in."

"Lucky you," I say. "Well, sounds like we aren't leaving today. We can do it tomorrow. Today, we fix Elo."

"She's still alive? Well, that's good to hear. You'll have someone to help you handle the dragons, and you're looking different. Yzzorres gotten to you?" Yuki asks.

"Yes."

"Congratulations," Yuki says. "You deserve that strength. I'll get to work."

Well, Elo can't be terrible if Yuki... Shit. I'll have to watch out for Elo. She did kill her Mother for no reason. But I have a free day now. Time to see what that new temple to power holds for me. She was pregnant before. I wonder if she's had her kid.
