Chapter 427 – Justice Won’t Rest

"I have something else to say," a dragonkin says. "You are holding a champion prisoner. One from my Goddess. What do you expect the courts to do with their champion taken from them?"

"She's going to die," I say. "Her death will be useful. We can replace the courts with my daughter, Contract, and others. I'm sure a good replacement will be born soon. Justice is hardly worth anything in her current state."

"Now you have a spine?" the priestess says. "So revengeful. You want justice, but hold Justice's Champion prisoner?"

"Like you said, I want revenge, not Justice. Besides, I don't think your Goddess is capable of Justice. I've been doing a better job of fulfilling her affinity than she has. It isn't hard to stand up to you and your temple. Stay in your temple. I don't need or wish to see you or your people again. Leave. Nobody needs your stupidity in the realms. If I see one of your priestesses, I'll burn your temple to the ground with you all tied to the doors. You don't get to try and rape me for eternity; they get mad that I was successful instead of you. This is justice. You not understanding that proves your Goddess is a useless little bitch. My advice: slit your throat so I don't get to decide how you die. That goes for the rest of you. Remember, you are going to be following me. Follow, or just die. I have plenty of Goddesses to help me find you, so don't think you can hide or run for long."

"That is more like it," Elo whispers. "Adjourn for the day. Tell them. Order them."

"Court is adjourned," I say. "Think about how you will all behave in the future. I hope you'll all handle yourselves better in the future."

Most of the silver dragons were already on their way out. I'm guessing the rest are priestesses of different Goddesses. Maybe I should've had them stick around for a bit. Give Nature's priestesses the same warning or something.

"Is it always like this?" I ask. This is going to get tiring, and I'm sure Elora's Queendom also does this shit. Will they be just as stupid?

"No, you'll get to the point that they are stumbling on their words trying to get something out," Elo says. "You'll have the problem of needing to convince them to speak up so they can tell you the true problems they have. We do need to act on their needs, but we can't have them running the realm. That is why you have the crown, and not them. Don't worry, you have a good connection with the Goddess. That'll help us a lot with knowing what is going on with the realm, and let this be just a bit more than a session to make them feel important. I don't think that will be true for all the realms you end up looking after, but it will be for this one. I know I said I can wrangle them, but I don't really have the energy to do that. You will need to enforce your rule. If you run off I can give you a list of families to make an example out of. Otherwise you can make your own. Now, I need to sleep."

Geta catches Elo. I guess she has something from Dragon helping her through these events, like me. I need to get to Yuki and get those potions made. Should I test the procedure on a few of Tanatsu's test subjects or go straight to Elo? Dragon said she would look over Elo, so I should be fine to just start on her, and that would speed up the practice, I think. See what Yuki thinks. Give her a night or two from Nakuma will get her willing to help me plenty.

"We can all take a break before dinner," I say. "This didn't take as long as I thought it would."

"That tends to happen when you send everyone away early," Elora chuckles. "Not that I can blame you for sending them away. The temples can start to believe they're more important than they really are sometimes. It wasn't too bad; you got your footing at the end, and they should remember that. I should get back to our kid."

"Yes," I say. I can have my second body work with Yuki. She won't have to fear me coming to give her more kids. I do feel a little bad that I gave her two batches. Then what to do with this body? Do I go with Elora, Shimmer, Mommy, or Victoria?

*** Alzi, Second Body ***

Destruction probably isn't the right baby to bring around the house, but she's the one I had when I thought about asking Yuki for some help. I have to be careful not to treat her too differently from the others. Can't have her thinking she's bad because of her affinity.

"Daddy!" Irlo says. "Where are you taking Destruction?"

"I was going to ask Yuki about some things," I say. "And it's safer for this body to have a baby nearby so it doesn't disappear. I don't want to have all three bodies in the dragon realm when I have most of my kids here."

"Can I come?" Irlo asks.

Should I risk Irlo seeing whatever Nakuma is up to in the room? Just take it slow. "We'll see," I say. "Understand that they may not be presentable to a kid. Yuki was just in a ritual that was hard on her, and Nakuma is. She's an odd one. Ok. If I say you can't come in, you have to stay outside. No fighting me about it. Ok?"

"Yes," Irlo says.

"Good," I say. "Then this way." I should also check in on Shyla and Annoris. I don't know what to do with her. She just cleans, so I should just make her a normal maid or something if dryads are safe. Should I kill Justice and Nature instead? I'm sure I could come up with some other way to punish Sex. Nature and Justice seem like two that just need to die with their schemes. I could contain Sex with more sexual goddesses. Force her to be more tame or something.

I need to talk to the demoness soon anyway. I can see what she thinks. I'm sure Justice and Nature are harder to kill than Sex. I should destroy Sex's temple as well to prove a point.

I knock on Yuki's door. I don't expect an answer. I'm sure Nakuma pushed Yuki into Nakuma's room instead, but I'll give it a chance.

"Come in," Yuki says.

"Is it ok if Irlo comes with me? I have Destruction with me," I say.

"I think so," Yuki answers.

Well, the two kitsunes are clothed at least. But why are there so many balloons? "Is there a reason you have so many balloons in the room?" I ask.

"Can I play with them?" Irlo asks, already working to pick out her favorite. A few have managed to be twisted into different shapes, but most are just normal balloons. Maybe she has a color she wants.

"Yes," Yuki says. "Please use them. This idiot thinks she's going to be performing at a bunch of birthday parties."

"Oh, that isn't too bad an idea," I say. "What do you think, Destruction?"

POP!

Fuck that was loud! "Destruction!" I say. "Was that you?" I shouldn't blame her for that. It's her affinity, and popping balloons isn't a bad way to bring it out. Destruction just laughs and claps, so it was probably her. But it did a good job cleaning up all the balloons. Irlo had already picked the ones she wanted; the rest are gone, along with most of my hearing. "Don't do that again. You can't just destroy things. You have to consider the people using it. Like Death, she doesn't just kill everything. I'm talking to a baby like it can reason. This is so weird. Yuki and Nakuma, can you hear alright? Irlo seems to be fine."

"Some help would be appreciated," Yuki says. Nakuma just starts making more balloons in the corner of the room. I guess that's better than doing something on the bed with Yuki with Irlo in the room. I'm guessing Irlo is safe from Destruction's jokes. I don't even think she realizes that the other balloons are gone.

"How about now?" I ask.

"Thank you," Yuki says. "What now?"

"I need someone to make some potions. You and Kelly are the two I trust to do it. You're my wife now. While your punishment for letting me stay in the brothel has me confused, I don't think you will hurt me more. Am I right about that?"

"Tanatsu?" Yuki asks.

"Yes."

"I'll help you," Yuki says. "I do love you. I'm fine with the kids, and I understand why you put me in the ritual. May I join you in bed sometimes?"

"You'll be like this for the next decade."

"Mother will be happy."

"I'll have Kou work out a schedule for everything," I say. "Get some rest, and Nakuma, I may ask you to come by the nursery to make some balloons for the kids. I think they would love it. I forgot you could do this."

"I would love the practice. I have to be ready for Yuki's kids."

"Just remember you're pregnant as well," I say. "It took a few to get you fully healed. Thank you for your dedication."

"I'm pregnant?" Nakuma asks. "Really?"

"Yes, you and Yuki are pregnant together," I say. This woman. "I ask that you not do anything that would endanger the kids in either womb. They're all important to me."

"I know," Nakuma says. "I'm going to take really good care of Yuki. Don't worry about her."

"Thank you," I say. Maybe I should have the pair in my bed permanently. Not to save Yuki, I trust Nakuma won't hurt the kids in her womb, but Nakuma's kids. I don't know if she'll actually slow down when she starts to show. Problems for later. "I'll come check in soon, or get you to start making the potions. I'm hoping to get the supplies soon so you aren't too pregnant while making them."

"Thank you," Yuki says. "I am sorry."

"I'm sure you are," I say. "Irlo, we should go and let them rest. Thank Nakuma for giving you the balloons."

"Thanks!" Irlo says.

Nakuma doesn't say anything back, but her tails wiggle a bit. Irlo seems to agree that the wiggle works as a response. She races off down the hall, forgetting about her dad for some balloons.

Did she know they were in there and just used me to get to them! Can I even get mad at her about that? Silly girl.

"Well, that's one step down," I say. "Just need the supply."

*** Malralloz ***

Future really did push a ritual onto me and then fucked off. At least the Goddesses are weak now. Justice threw all her strength away just to lose to Alzi. A great show, really. But it puts me on the spot now. I'm the next big event for Alzi, and I even offered to get pregnant again. How long has that been?

Not important right now. Death of Goddesses first. Another thing that hasn't happened in a while. The best thing is that they still won't work together against me. I wonder if this will finally happen after I take these two out.

I need to get Alzi up here soon as well. She has people to gather. She has to complete this stupid ritual. I've got my circle made and supplies. Just need to get my nerves settled and blade sharpened before I drag Alzi up here to talk again.

Why couldn't I get a sister from the beginning, world? Wouldn't that be more fair? Look what you're making me do just for some family that can live up here.
