Liberation of The Slaves

Chapter 113 – Confessions Gone Wild

Chapter 113 – Confessions Gone Wild

— Freed’s POV —

“S-Selena! W-Wait… Mmmmmmm!!”

“Sele—Mmmmm!”

The moment her eyes fluttered open, she pounced on me like a starved cat discovering fish. Her kiss was deep, intense, and utterly relentless, like she was trying to inhale my soul through my mouth!

And if that wasn’t enough of a sensory overload...

【Mmmnnnn! Ngghhhh♥】

Aza’s voice moaned inside my head like background music from a romantic adult movie.

A woman kissing me in reality and another one moaning in stereo through our mind link…

How was I supposed to stay sane!?

“H-Haa… Haa…”

【T-That was… wild… Haa…】

After a full dozen minutes of wild affection, my lips were finally released. I gasped for breath, my heart pounding like war drums, but Selena wasn’t done.

“Hm? What’s this? Something's reacting down here.”

“S-Selena! W-Wait, not there—!”

Before I could react, she flung the blanket aside.

“Fufu… I knew it. It’s as honest as ever…”

She stared down with gleaming eyes like she’d just discovered a long-lost treasure.

“I missed this so much… You have no idea, darling…♥”

“I-If you keep looking at—W-Wait, hey!!”

What followed was chaos. Pure, affectionate chaos.

【Ahhhnnnnnnn♥】

She had gone feral.

Utterly, lovingly, emotionally feral.

After what felt like an eternity, we came to a pause, she lay down next to me.

【Haa… Haa… Haa… T-That felt so good….】

“Haa... Haa… You are so rough on me even though I just woke up…”

“Haa.. Haa... I.. I’m sorry—No! It was your fault! What did you do so suddenly!?”

Ignoring my complain, Selena just hugged me tighter with a happy hum, her face nuzzled against my cheek.

“Still… I don’t regret a thing,” she murmured, eyes half-lidded with warmth. “Because it’s you. Only you. I’m not scared anymore. I feel… safe.”

“And besides,” she added with a giggle, “you taste better than anything I remember. So youth~”

“M-My taste!? D-Don’t tell me you actually—”

“I love you, darling,” she whispered sweetly, ignoring my question as if it never existed. “So, so much♥”

I was supposed to take care of her while she recovered…

So why did it feel like I was the one who got ravaged?

After ten more minutes of precious, much-needed rest, we finally eased into a proper conversation, though we were still lying on the bed, limbs tangled and breath just starting to return to normal.

Selena rested her head against my chest, arms draped tightly around my waist like she had no intention of letting go. Her silver hair, soft and faintly wavy, spilled over my shoulder, the ends tickling my skin with every subtle movement.

Her gaze was upturned, her golden eyes watching me with warmth and mischief.

I shifted slightly beneath her. Her weight was comforting, her warmth soothing, but the closeness made my heart pound all over again.

Still, I did my best to keep my voice steady.

“So… care to explain what that was just now?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

I expected a flustered apology or maybe a tease, but what I got instead was far more confusing.

“It was your punishment,” she said sweetly, resting her cheek against my chest. “For breaking your promise with me, darling.”

“…Promise?”

My brows furrowed. “We only promised to travel the world together, didn’t we?”

That was all I remembered. I didn’t recall making any other promises to her, especially not before she was unconscious.

She shook her head slowly, brushing her nose lightly against my shirt.

“Not that promise… I meant the one you made to me before we died together.”

“…Huh?”

My mind stalled. Died? Together?

What was she talking about?!

She let out a quiet sigh, sadness clinging to it, her fingers absentmindedly playing with the edge of my sleeve as if bracing herself.

“Of course… you wouldn’t remember it.”

And then, she told me.

She told me about her past life. About how she died on a battlefield, hand-in-hand with the man she loved. About the final promises they made to each other, her wish to be reborn in a magical world, and his dream of peace. About how she watched his second life, how he still remembered her… and still, he married another woman.

She spoke of every one of his lives after that, third, fourth, fifth, until his eighth.

Until now.

Until… me.

My chest tightened.

“…I was your husband?” I whispered, the words barely leaving my throat.

She nodded into my shirt, voice barely audible. “Un.”

I didn’t know how to process that. Me? Her husband in a past life? I—

“…If you don’t believe me,” she added softly, “you can ask your angel.”

“…Angel?” I blinked. “Wait, do you mean Aza?”

She pouted instantly, looking up at me with narrow eyes. “So that’s what you call her… You two sound closer than I thought.”

“We’re not close!”

【We’re not close!】

It was a perfect synchronization.

Selena just hummed with mock disapproval and looked away. “Hmm… So I’m not the third, but fourth? This is bad… why does my rank keep dropping…”

I nearly choked.

“Rank!? What do you mean rank—?!”

My mind spun.

Meanwhile, her expression was back to that blissful, dreamy smile. Like all this chaos was just background noise to her newfound peace.

And I realized—

【She already knows about me, Master. There’s no point hiding anymore.】

Her tone was unusually calm. Strangely accepting.

As I looked down at Selena again, her gaze was soft, warm… but underneath it shimmered something deeper.

A sorrow too quiet to scream. The kind that only builds over centuries of waiting, aching, longing.

Yet even with all that buried hurt, she smiled.

Clinging to me like I was her anchor, her lifeline to this world.

…At least, that’s what I thought.

Until—

“Hmm… Aza, was it?” Selena murmured, her voice sweet and plotting. “As expected, I don’t want to be number four. Can I be number three?”

What?

【I don’t care about such titles.】

Aza replied with a sigh that felt more smug than indifferent.

【No, I don’t even intend to be his wife. So, don’t worry about it. I just want to be happy and feel good. So you can do it with him as many times as you want.】

“Hey!!”

I barked, but my voice might as well have been wind in the background.

【But when I get my physical body back…】

Aza added nonchalantly.

【I hope you don’t mind if I take his time to do it with me.】

Selena beamed, completely unbothered. “That’s fine with me. Or rather, you can join us sometimes. That sounds more fun.”

【Really!? Okay, deal!】

…What!?

“Hey! I’m still here—”

Hmn…?

Tinkle!

Pom!

Pii…!

A few more distinct voices chirped in through my soul connection. Nyx timidly asked if she could join too, Fia chimed in right after, and then, suddenly, a flood of eager “me too!” from the rest of the spirited souls echoed through my head like an unholy chorus of mischief.

Selena’s eyes sparkled like a ringleader as she hugged me tighter.

“Oh, you four! Of course you can join too! It’ll be fun and lively!”

“Oi!! Don’t treat me like some communal property!”

Why was no one hearing me!?

What do they think I am!?

Why am I surrounded by six perverted girls!?

What did I do in my past life to deserve this!?

Still wrapped tightly in Selena’s arms, her warmth pressed against me like she was trying to fuse our souls, I sighed and addressed the one voice I could trust to be at least half rational.

“Haa… Aza, is what she said true? That I was… her husband?”

【I did a soul trace on you a dozen years ago, but anything before your life in Bintang was sealed… wait—】

She paused.

That alone made my heart skip.

“Hmm?”

【I-It just unlocked…】

Aza said, sounding more stunned than I’d ever heard her.

【It seems Goddess Libertas just granted access… I’ll check now.】

A few seconds passed. And then—

【It’s true, Master… You were her husband… four hundred years ago.】

I blinked.

Selena, still nestled against my chest, giggled lightly. “See? I wouldn’t lie about something like this, especially not when it’s about my darling.”

Her words were affectionate, but they hit me like a weight I wasn’t ready to carry.

I wanted her to stay. I’d hoped she would wake up, look at me, and choose to stay.

But not because I used to be someone else.

Not because my soul was once her husband’s.

I looked down at her, at the smile that had waited centuries, and felt a pang of guilt twist in my chest.

“…Even if it’s true,” I murmured, my voice low, “I don’t have any memories of that life. Not a single one. So I… I can’t act like your husband, Selena. I’m not him. I don’t even know who he was.”

She looked up at me, her expression gentle.

I hesitated, then added under my breath, “You’re in love with him, not me.”

Because if I wasn't that man…

Then what did that make me to her?

An echo?

A placeholder?

Was I just the next best thing?

My heart ached with the question I couldn’t voice.

Was I truly his replacement… or just someone she chose to love again?

But then, she shattered the doubt with her words. As if she had been waiting for the perfect moment to silence every fear that clung to my heart.

“Ah? You’re worried about that?” she said, her voice so calm, so certain. “Of course I know. That’s why… you don’t need to pretend to be anyone else. Just be yourself, Freed.”

She looked up at me, eyes unwavering, radiant with warmth.

“I already started loving you… even before you purified my curse. So, you’re not just the man from my past life. You’re my darling in this life, too.”

“H-Huh?” I blinked. “W-What did you just say?”

She tilted her head innocently. “Hmm? That you’re my darling from both lives?”

“I already—” She paused, then her eyes widened in realization. “Ah…”

A blush bloomed across her cheeks. Slowly, she loosened her embrace and shifted, resting gently atop me. Her face hovered just above mine, close enough for me to feel her breath brush against my lips.

And then, softly… sweetly… with a vulnerability that could melt steel.

“I love you, Freed.”

“I love you even before I knew who you were. Every time you sat beside me, every time you held my hand while I was asleep… I could feel how genuine your heart was. I saw it in your eyes. I heard it in your voice. I fell for you, not a memory.”

“I love you.”

My breath hitched.

She… loved me.

Even before she knew anything about her past life, she had already loved me as I am.

“I…”

I opened my mouth to reply, but the words caught in my throat.

Memories clawed their way up, scars from relationships that fell apart, from love that once bloomed only to wither without warning. Promises broken. Trust lost. Pain that never quite healed.

What if this ends the same?

What if… I end up getting hurt again?

What if I fail again?

My eyes trembled as I bit my lip, unsure… afraid.

But she saw through me.

Selena always did.

“I know what you’re thinking,” she said gently. “I watched your past life, remember? I understand why you’re scared.”

She cupped my face, her thumb brushing lightly against my cheek.

“That’s why… I have a suggestion.”

I glanced at her warily. “A… suggestion?”

She nodded once.

“I’ll wear a slave collar,” she said calmly. “And you’ll be my master.”

My eyes widened. “...Huh?”

“That way,” she continued with a soft smile, “you won’t need to worry. You won’t have to fear betrayal or uncertainty. Because I’ll be bound to you, not by force, but by my own will. I don’t mind wearing that collar again if you are the one holding the key.”

I stared at her, stunned.

I understood what she was trying to offer, it was reassurance. A way to protect the fragile trust I couldn’t bring myself to believe in.

But…

That wasn’t what I wanted.

Because if I needed chains to trust love—

Was it really love at all?

And yet… the way she looked at me, unwavering and unafraid, made a part of me believe it could be.

As I hesitated, unsure of what to say, Aza’s voice rang out in my mind like a scolding from a big sister.

【Haa… Stupid Master. Didn’t you max out your Appraisal skill over the past two years just for a moment like this? Why not use it already?】

…Ah. That’s right.

I’d trained that skill obsessively just so I could see through lies, so I could tell whether someone truly cared about me.

So I could protect my heart.

“Wait, hold on.” Selena blinked in confusion. “Did you say two years? I thought I was only asleep for a few days…”

Aza explained without restraint.

【You’ve been sleeping for two years. Your soul had already fully recovered after the first year, but Goddess Libertas kept you in her realm longer, to let you watch over his life. Meanwhile, this hopeless Master of mine kept blaming me for not knowing what was wrong with you. He checked your condition every single day, twice a day, without fail.】

“H-Hey! That part wasn’t necessary!” I blurted, flustered. “Don’t tell her everything!”

My face burned. That was supposed to stay between us!

But when I turned back to Selena… she wasn’t teasing me.

She was staring softly, wide-eyed.

“Freed… You took care of me for two whole years…?”

I looked away, scratching my cheek. “Well… I just gave you some mana and water. Monitored your condition. That’s all. Not a big deal.”

“Freed…”

Before I could react, she suddenly tightened her arms around me, hugging me like she never wanted to let go. Her face pressed against my neck, her voice muffled and trembling.

“Thank you… Truly…”

“I spent half my life alone,” she whispered. “I was so, so lonely. I always told myself I’d wait for my darling… even if it took a thousand years. I never let myself fall for another man. But…”

Her voice cracked gently.

“Even if you say you’re not the same… To me, you and him are the same. You both worried about me. You both stayed by my side. You both gave me warmth when I had nothing left.”

She leaned closer, her breath warming my skin.

“And I love you. I love both of you. With all my heart.”

…That’s not fair.

How can I keep pushing her away… when she says it like that?

Not as someone clinging to the past.

But as someone who saw me as I am now.

The wall around my heart wavered.

Maybe… just maybe…

This time could be different.

“Haa... Selena, look at me.”

My voice was barely a whisper.

She lifted her soft gaze, as if she still wasn’t sure if this was a dream. Our faces were already close, breaths mingling in the narrow space between us. Her lips parted slightly in surprise, trembling just enough to show her anticipation.

I leaned in, closing the distance.

A gentle kiss.

Soft. Light. Just enough to carry every unspoken word.

“Freed...?” Her voice quivered. Her eyes widened, shimmering with emotion, as if unsure whether to believe what she’d just felt. “Why…?”

“Is that enough to be my answer?” I murmured.

For a heartbeat, silence lingered.

Then—

“Freed…”

Her voice broke into a breathless whisper as she pulled me back in. This time, she kissed me.

Deeper.

Warmer.

Our lips met again, not with desperation, but with devotion, like we were trying to memorize each other’s hearts through every motion.

Her fingers slid into my hair, and my arms wrapped around her waist, drawing her closer. Her body molded against mine like it belonged there. Her lips parted, inviting me in… and I accepted it.

Our tongues met, hesitant at first, then slow, tender, intertwining like they were remembering something lost across lifetimes. I tasted her warmth, her sweetness, the faint scent of forest herbs lingering on her breath from earlier… It was intoxicating.

A soft moan escaped her throat, melting into my mouth, and I knew, we both knew, this wasn’t just affection.

It was a reunion.

Of souls.

Of hearts that had waited far too long to be one again.

It was as if the world around us blurred and faded. As if there was no bed, no room, no sky, but only her heartbeat, and mine, syncing in a rhythm older than memory.

She was trembling. So was I.

But we didn’t pull away.

We kissed until breathless.

Until my heart was no longer weighed down by doubt.

Until her tears touched my cheek.

She loves me. And that’s all that matters.

I don’t need any collars to prove her love.

I don’t know if this would lead me to another betrayal or eternal love.

Even so, even if I don’t believe in myself…

I would believe in her.

I don’t want to break her heart with my trust issue.

Because I had chosen her, even before she confessed to me, even before she was awake from her sleep…

I love her.

And I will continue loving her with all my heart.

When our lips finally broke apart, foreheads pressed together, eyes closed, smiles trembling on our lips…

We knew.

This wasn’t the beginning of a love story.

It was the continuation of one.

One that defied death.

And bloomed again, here, in a world that had finally brought us back together.

——

But then… our blissful silence shattered.

【Ha… Ha… I-It was so damn hard to hold back my moan! A-Are you two crazy!? That was a whole hour! An hour! Who kisses for that long!? I felt like I was being tortured trying not to make a sound!】

Aza’s voice exploded into my mind, gasping as if she had just come back from war.

Tinkle—!

Fia piped in with an unsteady voice, “A-Amazing… I-I think I’m… addicted to this sensation…”

Hmn…!

Nyx followed shyly, “I-I finally get why Sis Aza likes this feeling so much…”

Pom!!

“I want more!!” one of them blurted out with zero hesitation.

Pii…!

“I-I only felt it indirectly, but if it’s this good just from the connection… I can’t wait to try it directly...!”

I froze.

Selena froze.

We both slowly turned to stare at each other, because the culprits were all invisible spirits watching from inside us.

“Our… our four ghostly little sisters are now…” I swallowed.

“…completely addicted to mature content,” Selena finished for me.

She blinked.

I blinked.

And then, she burst into laughter, her soft giggle brushing against my neck. I couldn’t help but laugh too, dragging a hand down my face.

“W-We might’ve created a problem…” I muttered.

She smirked. “We already corrupted them.”

After a few moments of laughter, our eyes met again, her golden gaze full of warmth... and way too much enthusiasm.

“Selena…” I said, a bit hesitant, “I’m not sure I can live up to your expectations. I still have memories that haunt me, you know? But… would you help me replace them with better ones together?”

Without missing a beat, she beamed. “Yes! Let’s make tons of wild nights to overwrite them! You can command me however you want!”

“Wha—no! There are so many ways to make happy memories! Why is that always your first idea!? I mean, mentally, I might be in my twenties, but this body is twelve! Twelve! Not exactly ‘wild night’ age!”

“Then I’ll just pamper you with everything but ‘that’ until you grow up!”

“You ignored the important point—!”

And suddenly, I felt a sensation below.

“And where do you think your hand is touching!?”

“I’m thirsty.”

“Then drink water!”

In the blink of an eye, she wriggled downward like it was the most natural thing in the world.

“I've been craving yours for four hundred years♥”

“Wh—Hey! No! Stop! Ahhhh—!”

【Aahhhhnnn…♥】

And so, our night turned... chaotic. Emotionally charged, physically confusing, and somehow still wholesome.

A wild night indeed, not in the way you'd expect… though I’ll admit, it was way too close to crossing the line. Just a toe over the borderline... maybe.

I knew that it was a normal thing as a husband and wife in her past life, but still…

My fully innocent, untouched body…

Now officially 'half-virgin,' on the very first day we started dating.

And with the way she teased me, playful, yet sounding all too serious, I had a feeling…

This definitely wasn’t the last time.

…Can I even survive until I reach the coming of age?
