When Sal looked at Beck with a bewildered expression, Quest burst into laughter and pointed at the tracking device.
"The gear quality is a bit lacking, but this is enough for my daily administrative work. If you use better equipment, you would probably be able to handle Beck's ability much more precisely."
Beck cleared his throat, then laughed and waved his hand.
"Wait, we didn't gather here to teach you tricks! You must learn this ability properly in my class. Without relying on Quest's system ability, but entirely with your own power. That would be good, right, Argento?"
Quest laughed and tapped Sal's shoulder.
"You may carry that tracker around and use it for the time being."
Beck pretended to grumble, but a bright smile still remained on his face as he looked at Sal.
"What do you see right now?"
Sal read out the information displayed to him one by one.
Then, Beck made a somewhat disappointed expression.
Shaking his head from side to side, he turned his body toward Quest and pointed at the tracker.
"That thing is holding the kid back... Originally, he should be able to see my entire ability deployment. This ability can analyze not just simple numbers, but physical and emotional behaviors as well. Is no information about my combat capabilities popping up? Like an analysis of my speech patterns or movements?"
When Sal shook his head and said he couldn't see anything, Beck reached out toward Sal's head.
"As I thought, we need to get rid of this!"
But Quest raised his hand to block Beck's hand.
"Mr. Salvatore has only been wearing this for 2 minutes. And there are other guests waiting right now. I think it would be fine for him to talk to you this week about wanting to learn this ability separately. What do you think?"
Seeing Quest speak comfortably with Professor Beck, whom Sal had thought of as just an old man, Sal became even more curious about his identity.
He certainly seemed like a completely different person now compared to when he was giving speeches in front of the students.
"Fine... I will wait until then."
Beck lowered his hand, laughed, winked at Sal, and raised his index finger.
"Just promise me you will seriously try to use my ability. It might be overwhelming at first, but once you master this ability... you will become truly powerful!"
Sal barely managed to offer his thanks amidst the chaos of statistics pouring into his head.
When Quest gave a signal with his head that he could return to Divinity, Sal immediately turned around.
Sal tried closing his left eye to see only the information from the tracker on his right, but it was equally dizzying.
Divinity tilted her head looking at the device attached to Sal's face, but instead of asking about it, she pointed to the table.
"I think that headgear would fit me best. I briefly peeked into the future while you were talking with the Headmaster."
Sal nodded and looked at the weapons and gear aligned on the table.
Not wanting to make everyone wait any longer, he reflexively activated his Appraisal ability.
'What... is this?'
Sal was at a loss for words seeing a completely different appraisal window pop up as the Analysis ability and Mythos Crafter worked simultaneously.
The black crown-shaped headgear was adorned with sharp spike decorations.
Overall, it looked like a tiara that had been scorched by fire after all its precious gems and metals had been torn off.
As Sal stared intently, numerous information windows popped up in succession before his eyes.
The blueprint shown by the Mythos Crafter ability showed how the item could be evolved and improved, but the Analysis ability was analyzing in detail why each part was important.
It even showed what attributes and traits could be generated depending on the materials and crafting method.

"Are you okay? You look like you saw a monster!"
Sal, who had been staring in a trance, flinched in surprise at Divinity's voice.
Momentarily, the focus of the Analysis ability broke, and the status windows floating before his eyes disappeared.
When he turned his head, she was wearing a gentle smile.

Before Sal could even try to take the tracker off his eye, the ability activated and information about Divinity unfolded before him.
Comparing the figures of Beck and Divinity, he finally started to get a sense of what the standards were.
'How is this information calculated?'
He wanted to think about it more deeply, but the grumbling of students coming from behind broke his concentration.
Sal looked at the black crown again and nodded.
"This is amplification gear for Mental Type ability users. It's perfect for you, and also for Erica..."
He paused and looked at Divinity.
"Don't tell me, you chose this to prevent Erica from having it?"
Divinity burst into laughter and waved her hand as if that were nonsense.
"No way. That would be too childish. Don't you think?"
"Divinity... your expression is way too excited."
Sal shrugged and began examining other gear while talking to her.
"It's currently Rare rank, but with a little work, it will suit you well."
At Sal's words, Divinity picked up the black crown carefully as if no further explanation was needed.
"Miss Erica, please come forward if you are ready!"
When Quest shouted from one side of the room, Erica, the 2nd ranker, finished her conversation and walked toward the table.
She looked at the spot where the crown had been, then looked at Divinity holding it, and became noticeably flustered.
It was quite a rare sight to see the person who was the most confident in the entire first year making such a bewildered expression.
Watching that, Sal couldn't pretend not to see her distress any longer and approached her.
Erica took a step back and looked at Sal warily, but Sal raised his hand and pointed at the gear one by one.
"There are four pieces of gear with small buffs for Mental Type users. That bracelet over there, the necklace next to the breastplate, and those two rings over there and there."
Then he smiled looking at Erica's surprised face.
"If you want something better than that black crown, go to the Workshop and find Mythos. That person can make even Epic or Legend rank gear if you pay the price well."
"......"
Erica didn't even blink.
When Sal finished speaking, she nodded, turned around silently, and picked up the necklace.
Divinity approached Sal's side and said with a frown.
"No matter how her item turns out, you're going to make my crown better, right?"
Sal winked and said.
"Of course... However, you'll have to be prepared to pay the full price."
Quest looked at Sal and gestured for him to pick the next item from the table.
To Sal, who had done numerous appraisals at the Reavers Guild, the gear in front of him wasn't that impressive.
The highest quality was merely Rare rank, and the designs weren't interesting at all either.
It might be arrogance, but Sal had the conviction that he could make better items than the gear lying on the table.
This confidence felt unfamiliar yet amusing to him.
He smiled, realizing once again how much he had grown in such a short time.
While scanning each piece of gear, a familiar large stone fragment caught Sal's eye.
It was a fragment of a destroyed Dungeon Heart.
"Uh...?"
At that moment, his Analysis ability activated as if going out of control, and the tracker failed to provide any information.
Sal remembered Josh saying before that the tracker didn't function properly when looking at his Epic rank gloves.
Sal looked into the stone carefully.
But the Mythos Crafter ability didn't work.
It seemed to imply that a blueprint or something to serve as a base was needed.
'Does this mean... this Dungeon Heart is of a rank that my gear cannot handle?'
Still, Sal didn't hesitate.
Even if it was a vain hope, he felt he had to investigate it in the Workshop.
"I'll take this!"
Sal pointed at the large fragment and smiled.
Quest nodded and called the fourth student to make a selection.
While the students picked items in turn, Quest explained to them the importance of leading a team and representing each cohort.
The explanation continued for a while, and the students who had obtained their gear began to talk to each other with increasingly excited expressions.
However, Sal's brain could no longer handle the information pouring from the Analysis ability.
Eventually, he turned off the ability himself and removed the tracker attached to his eye.
Some students started joking that Sal's gear was the main reason for their success.
Soon after, questions about how to put in a request to the Workshop poured in.
"Hey, Divinity!"
"Divinity, me first!"
Requests continued for Divinity as well.
"Which guild should I join?!"
"Me! Look at who I'm going to date at the end of this semester!"
The conversations were mostly light and funny, but they lacked substance to focus on for long.
Just then, Alastair and Scry approached and pulled the two out from among the students.
Sal realized that this very moment matched exactly with the boring scenes Divinity had seen in her foresight.
"Is the time to go back to the other kids here now?"
Sal asked, tapping her shoulder lightly.
Scry, who was standing on the opposite side of Divinity, laughed and pointed at Sal.
"This guy looks like he still has potential."
To Sal, who stared blankly not knowing what that meant, Scry continued speaking.
"Divinity waited here for quite a long time. Wondering when you would come to save her."
Divinity laughed and waved her hand.
"Don't listen to the Professor. We were just killing time talking about disasters, calamities, and things like that. Let's go now!"

Barry cleared his throat and raised his glass high.
"Alright, let's toast!"
Judging by his shaking hand and excited smile, Sal could guess that he had already called for a toast several times over the past few hours.
Blanid smirked and shook her head but raised her glass to follow him, and Jack raised his glass along with them.
Seeing Anthony only raising his hand lightly, Sal tilted his head.
"Should I get you something to drink?"
"Ah, I'm fine. I don't like the taste of alcohol."
Behind Anthony's polite refusal, Barry was glaring at Divinity's team gathered on one side.
"I said... let's toast?"
Whether they noticed or simply intended to humor Barry, the people on that side raised their glasses too.
"What better argument could there be for us lower rankers! No one is in danger of expulsion at the end of the semester, the gear is good, and the teamwork is killer. All of this is thanks to two desperate humans!"
Barry grinned broadly, raising his glass toward Sal and Divinity.
The two felt like they were sobering up from the sudden praise.
"Who would have known?"
Barry continued.
"That we would come this far? Ah, except Divinity. Since she knows everything. Isn't that really cool?"
He raised his glass again with an ecstatic expression.
Sal bit his lip watching this scene.
"Will he remember this after he sobers up?"
Divinity grinned at Sal.
"If he doesn't remember, I'll just have to keep reminding him."
Just as Sal turned to put his empty glass down on the table, someone's hands covered his eyes.
"Guess who!"
Wearing a warm smile, Sal pretended to think for a moment.
"Erica?"
Before Hannah could hit him, he turned around and hugged her.
However, Hannah wasn't satisfied with just a hug.
"Mmph...!"
He ended up kissing Hannah in front of all the other cohorts.
"You did really well this time. Your rank went way up."
When Sal offered her congratulations, Hannah waved her gauntleted finger and said.
"It's all thanks to my savior crafter!"
Sal wrapped his arm around her back and tried to turn around to introduce her to his friends.
And in that moment, Sal suddenly realized.
That right now, he was surrounded by people he could call friends.
He recalled himself just four weeks ago, full of nervousness while riding the train to school with his parents.
But now, he was introducing a girl he held somewhat special feelings for in front of his friends.
During that time, he had studied, trained, crafted gear, and even blocked the threat of monsters.
All of those stories were things the old Salvatore Argento couldn't have even imagined.
Watching Hannah and Divinity burst into laughter at another one of Barry's toasts, Sal smiled.
He had only just begun his journey.
There was still much he didn't know, but one thing was certain.
Sal belonged at Quest Academy.
