Chapter 308 - 134: Half-Year Summary, A New - Begins

Everything needs a summary.

Li Younan spent an entire evening to do this.

Reflecting on the past six months since resigning from his job in Shanghai, Li Younan still feels as if he’s in a dream.

Of course, it’s not that Li Younan doesn’t want to, but rather, his plan for the first half of the year was to gain skills that would support his travels to those places by checking in at various destinations.

To reach places where most travelers can’t go, it’s either by driving an off-road vehicle or hiking through. Previously, Li Younan had experienced the basics of off-road routes; this time he plans to try hiking.

He excitedly took out his phone and mentioned this plan to jk Long.

However, to Li Younan’s surprise, jk Long hadn’t replied by the following day.

Usually, even if not that day, he’d always reply the next.

Li Younan glanced at his last chat with jk Long—a week ago, since he hadn’t needed any video editing and hadn’t contacted him much.

But with jk Long not replying, Li Younan had no other way to contact him, so he waited patiently.

jk Long was vague, only saying, "Something came up..."

"Could you look after someone for a few days... but please don’t ask them too much about me..."

Seeing this request, Li Younan paused for a moment and asked, "Is it in Chengdu?"

After receiving an affirmative answer, Li Younan checked his holiday schedule; there were three days left before returning home.

He hesitated briefly, then candidly told his mom and Lu Xiaolan about it: "A friend has a situation; I need to return early."

His mom and Lu Xiaolan agreed without hesitation. They felt this holiday was already satisfying enough, and Li Younan’s affairs were more important.

Feeling somewhat apologetic, Li Younan said, "I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, Mom."

His mom replied, a bit displeased, "What are you saying? Family shouldn’t talk like this. We’ve troubled your uncle quite a bit as well; say goodbye to him tonight, and we’ll return tomorrow."

The next day, their flight landed on time at Tianfu Airport.
