"Nothing much, just came to take a look around."

Chen Kunjie’s mom looked around, glancing here and there, then casually knocked on a table before speaking slowly and seriously, "But, even though you argued with me before, I still hope you can make this business work."

She pointed to the refurbished store, "Your decoration is unique, but the location isn’t ideal. To succeed, the taste and value must be right. Where are you buying your hotpot ingredients from?"

Chen Kunjie proudly announced, "Buy? I make them myself!"

Before Chen Kunjie’s mom could say anything, his seemingly obedient brother couldn’t help but laugh, "With your level, you’re making hotpot ingredients?"

When it came to his brother, Chen Kunjie wasn’t as polite, calmly retorting, "Dad can say that, since he’s the one who makes the hotpot ingredients at home. But you, can’t even balance the books..."

Li Younan found it amusing.

Chen Kunjie had mentioned before that his brother didn’t get involved in the kitchen; at the hotpot restaurant, he was mainly responsible for managing the floor and accounting.

This livestream event had been planned for some time.

Li Younan was already quite familiar with hosting livestreams, having prepared the fan group in advance.

Since this is his own business, he’s naturally more eager to promote it compared to other brands.

Chen Kunjie’s mom responded humorously, "You young people always want to do these flashy things. Livestream, huh? I’ve even hired internet celebrities to help promote for us, and to be honest, it wasn’t very effective, let alone you guys doing your own thing. Who’s going to watch?"

Chen Kunjie’s brother’s face changed instantly, "Who’s going to prep for you?"

Chen Kunjie nonchalantly said, "Then what are you going to do? Just come and freeload? No chopsticks for you!"

"I can manage the accounts for you."

"As if I need you to do that!"

Li Younan watched the siblings bicker with great interest.

Their mom rebuked, "Stop bickering; you’re good at finding free labor."

Chen Kunjie mischievously replied, "You offered yourself."

Despite her words suggesting she was fed up with Chen Kunjie, Li Younan could feel that their family actually had a harmonious relationship.
