Upon reaching the manor, Wuyi noted that Tumu had done well in his preparations. The manor, an elegant structure of stone and wood, stood proudly at the heart of the estate. Basic servants were already in place, busying themselves with the upkeep of the manor. The resources from Huanghou, essential for their stay, were neatly organized, indicating how efficient Tumu had become.

After arriving at his manor, the first thing Wuyi did was assign his warriors the task of surveying every corner of the estate. He planned to transform this estate into his future clan headquarters. Though expansive, it was not beyond the capability of his thirty Qi warriors to secure and patrol.

The estate's natural terrain offered strategic advantages for defense, yet Wuyi knew enhancements were needed to meet his standards.

As he settled into the new manor, he went through all the archives that he had acquired of the Qingshan clan. He was hoping he might find a cultivation method that could help him when he reached Qi master. However, he did not find anything useful.

What attracted his attention was the potential for trade and business. If it was as simple as trading in gold taels, Wuyi wouldn't have paid much attention to it, as he could always rob and get the gold taels he needed. But the valuable trade resource his estate offered was a cultivation material.

This herb was invaluable for practitioners at lower cultivation levels, such as Qi Initiate or Qi Adept.

This elusive herb thrived in special areas where the desert met fertile land, drawing life from the sandy fertile soil's rich minerals and not being very moist.

The herb's rarity and difficult harvesting process made it highly coveted, commanding premium prices. Wuyi realized if he could take control of the trade of such valuable Sylvaris Dewroot, it would bring immense wealth and influence, which he could use to get what he needed: a cultivation manual that could show him the right path once he reached Qi master.

This drove his desire to break the local clans' monopoly by cultivating the herb in his Qingshan estate.

Wuyi immediately asked Yun Ming to visit Huanghou to get him every detail about the trading of this special herb. Yun Ming immediately departed and, within a week, came back with all the details Wuyi needed.

Two clans, the Jinxiu and Haoling Clans, had maintained a strict monopoly over Sylvaris Dewroot's trade. Most of the roots were sold to subordinate clans of the imperial family and other high noble clans. These high noble clans and subordinate clans handled the distribution of the herb and its concoction into pills.

Wuyi, not lacking gold anymore, decided he would get the serfs in his estate to convert a significant portion of his estate into a farm for cultivating Sylvaris Dewroot. While he planned to transform remaining farmers in his estate into warriors. To build a strong organization, thirty Qi warriors were not enough.

But farming Sylvaris Dewroot was a well-kept secret within the two monopolizing clans. Having settled all his past scores and there had been no signs of Yuanjing searching for him anymore since he changed his noble name, Wuyi decided it was high time he should make a few enemies.

This herb could not just solve his problem of cultivation but also could help him get more cultivation resources.

Those resources could help him get another batch of Qi warriors.

Putting his plan into action a few days later, Wuyi covertly visited one of the Jinxiu clan's farms to observe their Sylvaris Dewroot cultivation first-hand. As dawn's light crept over the estate, he saw that their fields shimmered with verdant Sylvaris Dewroot, the leaves shined as if they carried some sort of nectar within them.

Jinxiu clan farmers moved methodically through the rows, harvesting the plants with care. They plucked the plant from the ground, collecting and separating the delicate leaves and dew-shaped root of the plant. According to local legend, these droplet-shaped roots of the plant contained essence from the night sky, infused with the energies of moon and starlight.

Once the root and the leaves were harvested, the farmers did not throw away whatever was left of the plant but they meticulously replanted the leftover plant back in the ground. Wuyi watched closely, imprinting the proper harvesting and planting process in his mind.

There were some gaps in his understanding of the whole process but with the statue of knowledge, it did not take much time for him to figure out the whole process from planting to harvesting.

After Wuyi was certain of the methodology, he waited for the next night when he visited the Jinxiu clan's special storages where the Sylvaris Dewroot seeds were kept. He had acquired all the information in advance before making his journey. Transforming into shadow with help of Statue Of Shadow, Wuyi walked into their warehouse, took a few vats of seeds before he disappeared.

Once he returned, he immediately put the plan of converting his estate into a Sylvaris Dewroot farm into action. He assigned the duty of transformation of his estate into one big farm to Yun Ming. Only Yun Ming was someone to whom all new and old subordinates of his listened. Besides, he had other plans for his two other adepts.
