Chapter 758 - 758 747 Six Elements Punishment

Chapter 758: Chapter 747: Six Elements Punishment Chapter 758: Chapter 747: Six Elements Punishment “A bunch of ineffective creatures, utterly disgracing our Metallic Dragon Clan.”

Inside a magnificent golden palace, an elder wearing a pure white robe with golden embroidery was roaring loudly, causing the whole palace to tremble slightly.

“Alas, getting angry won’t change what happened. We better think of ways to minimize the impact of this incident,” the Ancient Golden Dragon Laoenin said softly.

“The first thing we should do now is to ask Prince Mureya, the lord of Xena Pus, to block the news. We can’t let this leak out. Once it does, I’m afraid even the Dragon Empress will use this to mock our Metallic Dragon Clan.”

“Absurd to the extreme. Class just started three days ago, and there are already students skipping class among us, the Metallic Dragon Clan. What’s even worse is that the ringleader is a dragon from our clan.” With a furious expression, an Ancient Silver Dragon slammed his palm on the table in front of him. The whole table turned into dust under his palm. However, no dragon was paying attention to this poor table at the moment.

Amid bouts anger, several Ancient Dragons moved their gazes towards another Ancient Golden Dragon in the room. The gazes made this silent Golden Dragon feel a bit awkward, but he didn’t voice his discomfort because the ringleader of the students who skipped class was his own descendant, who was most favored by him.

“Ah, we’ve lost so much face that I dare not go out now. Every time I see a dragon, I feel they’re laughing at us.” A Golden Dragon sighed quietly and then revealed an angry look.

“After resolving the impact of this incident, we need to discuss how to punish these errant dragons,” an Ancient Dragon suggested. “This disgraceful incident should be enough. It cannot happen again. The students who skipped class must be punished severely, there must be no mercy.”

“Without rules, there can be no discipline,” an Ancient Dragon read out loud. “They are now students of the Academy, so we should punish them according to the Academy’s rules.”

“In terms of the punishment system for truancy, the Dragon Clan Academy has one, but it was set before the establishment of the Academy,” Ancient Green Dragon Fiona chimed in. “These punishment measures are set for the Five-Color Dragon Clan and seem too harsh for your Metallic Dragons. I think you should consult Principal Muria about a new punishment system specifically for the Metallic Dragon Clan.”

There was a detectable hint of mockery and elation in the Ancient Green Dragon’s words.

“We will follow the punishment system set by His Majesty Muria,” decided the Ancient Golden Dragon Laoenin without hesitation. He then turned his gaze to the Ancient Green Dragon. “You Five-Color Dragons may be tough, but we Metallic dragons aren’t delicate either.”

“Are you going to enforce the punishment system made for us, the Five-Color Dragon Clan, without even asking?” Ancient Green Dragon Fiona asked, smiling.

“How does Muria punish the Five-Color Dragons who skip classes?” Ancient Golden Dragon Giovanni Galleo asked. His lineage included the dragon who led the students in skipping class.

“Six Elements Punishment!” the Ancient Green Dragon spat out five words with a smile. Seeing the puzzled gazes of the Ancient Dragons, she explained, “This punishment, as the name suggests, punishes errant dragons with the power of six elements. For instance, if the offender is a fire-attribute dragon, then they would be punished with the elements of earth, wind, water, thunder, light, and darkness. The punishment lasts a full hour, leaving memorable impressions on the lashing dragon, ensuring they won’t dare to make the same mistake.”

After hearing the description of the Six Elements Punishment, several Ancient Dragons considered it for a moment, exchanged glances, and felt that it was not too harsh. After all, it was impossible to pose any risk to a dragon’s life. Just as these Ancient Metallic Dragons were about to enforce the Six Elements Punishment on the truant dragons, the Ancient Green Dragon Fiona spoke again.

“Oh, I forgot to mention one thing: the Six Elements Punishment is executed in front of the dragon crowd, not secretly in the dark.”

“How could it be like this?” Ancient Golden Dragon Giovanni Galleo was visibly shocked. To have his descent punished in front of a crowd, it was indeed an unthinkable disgrace.

“Why can’t it be like this? The purpose of punishment is to penalize those who violate rules and to warn the law-abiding not to do so. Thus, public punishment is necessary,” the Ancient Green Dragon said dispassionately. After finishing, Fiona revealed a playful look.

“Of course, you Metallic Dragons are different. You like doing things differently. You should mention this to Muria and establish school rules specifically for your Metallic Dragon Clan.”

“This…” The Ancient Golden Dragon Giovanni Galleo showed a hesitant expression. He looked at the faces of the other Ancient Dragons, sighed, and bowed his head deeply. He was sure that if he dared to speak up now, these Ancient Dragons, who had only recently become colleagues, would definitely ostracize him.

“Think before you speak. You should know that your descendant participated in this truancy incident, and you are to blame. Or, we should say, all of us Ancient Dragons share the blame because we are teaching at this academy. Our descendants feel untouchable because they think we will protect them,” an Ancient Dragon said.

A Yellow Bronze Dragon spoke solemnly. Given his lifetime of dragon experience, he more or less gauged what those dragon whelps were thinking, which turned out to be pretty accurate.

“So, if we truly want to make them better, we should not shield them this time. They should be punished as deserved, even severely if necessary?”

“There’s no need for severe punishment. If enhanced, the Six Elements Punishment could kill a dragon.” Fiona, seeing the ancient dragons’ deliberation, lost her playful look and quickly interrupted. She genuinely feared that these annoyed ancient dragons might overreact.

“I swear my father will crush them someday,” grumbled a Juvenile Dragon, its scale gleaming, while looking from behind the bars at the two Metal Golems outside. He had just overslept in his assigned dormitory and missed class. These two golems burst in and detained all four of them to this prison.

It was just some extra sleep. Why was it treated as a crime? Was it wrong for a dragon to sleep? He found this absurd. The young dragon, aware of his prominent lineage, was filled with anger. He looked back at the other three metallic dragons in the prison cells, who leaned uneasily in the corners, looking around. They were actually encouraged to oversleep by this young gold dragon, which was merely the manifestation of their draconian laziness.

“What do you think the academy will do to us?” asked a sheepish Green Bronze Dragon. It was also a Juvenile Dragon, thus assigned to the same dormitory as the Gold Dragon. In the Dragon Clan Academy, classes were determined by the dragon’s age and type.

“Rest assured, we will not get punished,” the Juvenile Gold Dragon confidently asserted. “My great-grandfather was personally invited to serve as a professor by Principal Muria, there’s nothing to worry about.”

“Really?” As these young dragons were taking solace in this message, there was a commotion outside their cell, Four Cloud Giants, much stronger than average, arrived.

The giants were nearly twice the regular height and weight. They were reportedly the minions of their principal, mutated and strengthened by his power. Hence, these young dragons carried a sense of awe for the Principal, whom they had seen only once during the inauguration.

As these Cloud Giants arrived, opened the cell’s door, and then each one picked up a dragon as easily as holding a chick, they walked out,

“Put me down, you Giants! Do you know who my great-grandfather is?” The little Gold Dragon was fruitlessly struggling against the giant’s palm. His strength, when compared to the adults Cloud Giant, was pitiable. It had no noticeable effect.

Next, these four dragons found themselves transported to the academy’s playground’s stage by these Cloud Giants. The dragons could look up from various directions below the stage.

They were reminded of the inauguration ceremony; Metallic Dragons, Five-Color Dragons, Gemstone Dragons, along with a few nearly extinct Giant Dragons, totalling almost two thousand, a spectacle only seen at the beginning of the term. However, they were witnessing it once more.

The Cloud Giants took them to the stage, and the struggling little Gold Dragon spotted his grandfather stood there, surrounded by several other ancient dragons. Their looks towards him varied; anger, contempt, disappointment… His grandfather was looking at him with disappointment and worry.

“Great-grandfather!”

“You’ve disappointed me.” Seeing his descendant, the Ancient Dragon heaved a deep sigh of regret. At that moment, the errors of his upbringing struck him. He had been too lenient, leading to a total loss of face for their clan.

“Now, accept your punishment.”

“All I did was get some extra sleep. Why should I be punished?” The Juvenile Dragon argued defiantly.

“Why punish you?” The ancient gold dragon roared with fury and ridicule, “We have now, 1272 Five-Color Dragons in the Dragon Clan Academy, amongst them 157 baby dragons under a year old. I thought the first to make a mistake would be one of the Five-Color Dragon whelps. Still, it turned out to be a Metallic Dragon, even leading the way astray in our family lineage. You let your surname, the entire Metallic Dragon Clan, bear the shame because of you, and you dare claim innocence?”
