Chapter 752 - 752 741 Endless Nonsense

Chapter 752: Chapter 741: Endless Nonsense Chapter 752: Chapter 741: Endless Nonsense The practicality of Titan’s physical persuasion technique proved to be far superior than mere dares. After paying a visit to the Ancient Silver Dragon, Muria met the seven other Ancient Dragons across the Roghagen Subcontinent one by one.

Two of them agreed to go to Xena Pus with Muria to get a feel for the Dragon Clan Academy he intended to establish before deciding their next move. The other five, however, came up with all manner of excuses to decline.

Even with the rejection, Muria remained unaffected – genuinely. He simply transformed into Titan and reissued his challenge; by taking them on every three days.

Some of the dragons toppled under the brute force of Muria’s physical persuasion. Some desired to emulate the elusive Silver Dragon and run away but were directly nabbed by Muria, granted the powers bestowed upon him by the Dragon God. He proceeded to pound them relentlessly until they agreed to his terms.

If the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut knew of Muria’s deeds, he would probably chastise him: The magic staff I bestowed upon you wasn’t meant to be employed in this manner, you brute!

After overcoming challenging hurdles, Muria finally managed to forcibly invite these Ancient Dragons back through his “efforts,” which solved the faculty problem at the Dragon Clan Academy.

“I should now take those two Ancient Dragons for a tour of my Dragon Clan Academy.” Standing at the mountaintop, Muria gazed into the distance muttering to himself.

“Uncle Muria.” When Muria entered a bustling city and confidently made his way to a villa within, a blonde girl greeted him as he entered the courtyard. Seeing Muria, her salute was both ceremonious and noble, resembling that of a Noble Lady.

“Off to school again.” Hearing this greeting, the flawlessly handsome young face of Muria visibly stiffened. He glanced at the book in the blonde girl’s hand, nodded, and then managed to squeeze out a faint smile.

“Yes,” echoed back the girl before she pointed inside the house. “Father is waiting for you.”

“There’s actually no need for you to go. What can a Human Academy impart to you, other than some useless etiquette?” Muria remarked, shaking his head at the school-ready youth. “You can stay back. After I have completed negotiations with your father, you may accompany me to the Dragon Clan Academy to start studying. That is where you will come across knowledge that you indeed need to master.”

“But I heard from my father, Elder Muria, that the Dragon Clan Academy you’re trying to establish isn’t officially open yet, is it? Without any professors in place, you’re approaching my father to become one. If I go there, who will teach me? My father?”

Upon hearing Muria’s words, a restrained smile broke out on the girl’s face as she unabashedly probed Muria’s plans. With her book, she left the courtyard.

“Such a clever little gal.” Watching her departure, Muria, far from being cross, smiled instead. With over a hundred years to his age, he addressing a still adolescent dragon girl as such wasn’t an overstep.

“His Majesty Laeonin, are you ready?” Muria pushed open the main door of the villa and entered. There inside was a blond middle-aged man with crystal glasses, dressed in everyday clothes, who was intently reading a book. Only on noticing Muria, did he lay his book down and offer a nod as his greeting.

“I’m ready,” answered Leaonin with a smile as he stood up and his everyday clothing instantly transformed into elegant white formal attire. The apparel, accentuating his tall and slender figure, rendered him even more elegant and extraordinary.

This reclusive Golden Dragon, according to Muria, was a dream lover of virtually every young and married lady in this city. Laeonin’s demeanor exhibited the charisma inherent to a middle-aged man that proved fatally attractive to naive girls and irresistibly alluring to mature and married women confined to their homes.

For such an attitude, Muria had only two words to describe – Show Off. The Golden Dragon Race, at its core, loved to flaunt and show off. Tavern tales abounded about Golden Dragons, the most common being them concealing their true identity and fund, luring wrongdoers, and then revealing themselves to bring those wrongdoers to justice.

Sometimes, Golden Dragons also disguised themselves as low-ranked adventurers accompanying other adventure groups to fight ferocious beasts. As soon as the human side met defeat, they’d reveal their powerful stance, defeat the beasts in question, and earn gasps of admiration and praise from everyone around them.

While this Dragon disguised himself as a human pianist, residing in the Human Kingdom, Muria believed he did so intentionally. If truly aloof, he could have appeared a lot more ordinary rather than attract so much attention.

His current appearance invited trouble easily. Over time, unless someone was a fool, all would realize his extraordinary origins and knew not to provoke him. In fact, although many women in the city regarded him as the man of their dreams, most people were wary of him.

However, while Prince Mureya might have a hard time putting up with his ostentatious demeanor, he had to admit his integrity. He was one of the few busybody ancient dragons in the Dragon Race. His greatest hobby was collecting metallic dragon eggs from within the Dragon Race, which were stolen due to human greed. His small mansion might seem insignificant, but it was actually a very well-known Dragon Race orphanage in this region.

“By the way, I’ve heard that aside from Mina, you have a few other young ones. Why not bring them along this time? After all, they’ll eventually go to that place to study. Let them observe in advance, for they will spend the next several decades studying there.”

“Are you that confident in your Dragon Clan Academy?” Upon hearing Mureya’s words, the flamboyantly-dressed middle-aged man showed a hint of surprise and asked incredulously.

“Of course, I’m confident. On the opening day, nearly a thousand students will enroll in my Dragon Clan Academy. Besides, I have a double-digit number of teachers to instruct, so it’s more than enough to start the school,” Mureya declared confidently.

“Since you’re so confident, I’ll take my little ones there for a visit. If it’s as good as you say, I’ll leave them with you.”

The Ancient Golden Dragon Laeonin, who willingly became the director of the Dragon Clan Orphanage, laughed out loud. He was very interested in the academy that Mureya had spoken of. If everything stated by Mureya was true, then he could send over every metallic dragon who had become an orphan for various reasons to the academy in the future.

After inviting this ancient dragon, Mureya tirelessly took him to find another ancient dragon, a Red Bronze Ancient Dragon who had spoken of wanting to visit Xena Pus, and likewise invited him to bring his offspring.

“Prince Mureya, you truly live up to being the descendant of the Dragon King with the ambition of opening a Dragon Clan Academy. These 132 Cloud Islands, even if the Dragon King wanted them, it would take considerable effort to amass. Yet you’ve gathered them effortlessly.”

“I was just lucky,” Mureya said with a humble grin. He felt somewhat proud looking at the faces of these two ancient dragons, definitely taking pleasure in the shock they exhibited when laying their eyes upon Xena Pus for the first time. It gave him a great sense of satisfaction.

“Do you plan to use all these Cloud Islands to build the Dragon Clan Academy?” Ancient Golden Dragon Laeonin asked, brimming with excitement.

“There’s no need for that, I plan to allocate twelve Cloud Islands for the construction of the Dragon Clan Academy. The other islands, I have other uses,” Mureya blatantly responded while shaking his head.

He had to clarify this well in advance. The Dragon Race was only a portion under his command. The Rloghagen Army’s main force was actually the giants, and the Dragon Clan Army was just the icing on the cake. They were unable to handle particularly important matters, which was why Mureya wanted to build the Dragon Clan Academy and then expand the dragon power within his control.

However, Golden Dragon’s comment reminded Mureya that the giants were the main force under his command. He couldn’t favor one and neglect the other. Once he had built an academy for the giants, they could educate the dragons, ideally instilling loyalty to him from an early age. Despite them already being fiercely loyal due to their bloodline, Mureya decided to imprison them further with this mindset, ensuring their everlasting loyalty to him. This must be the better option?

Moreover, constructing the giant academy was more straightforward than the Dragon Clan Academy. The powerful giants who were dispatched to campaigns could come by and instruct martial techniques. The cloud giant leaders and Legendary Frost Giants could serve as teachers.

After considering these potential issues, Mureya welcomed the two ancient dragons and their offspring into his home. No sooner than Mureya took the two ancient dragons in, the seven ancient dragons he had previously subdued through force sought him out.

“Who are they?” Ancient Golden Dragon Laeonin, sensing the familiar aura from these ancient dragons, looked puzzled. As metallic ancient dragons living on the same continent, they naturally had some connections. Encountering his old acquaintances here, he found it slightly surprising.

“They are the ancient dragon teachers I mentioned who will instruct the young dragons when the school opens,” Mureya glanced at the seven ancient dragons and introduced them to the two others with a smile.

Hearing Mureya’s words, the seven ancient dragons exchanged wordless glances. They knew why they had arrived here and how. When they found out that other ancient dragons were in the same plight as them, they felt a bit relieved. They also had a brief exchange with them and knew that Mureya’s rascally actions were not targeting one single dragon.

The two ancient dragons, who were invited and agreed to visit by Mureya, kept silent after seeing their seven kin. It was hard to tell if they believed Mureya’s lies or had another agenda.
