Chapter 747 - 747 736 Legion Commander Judge Vice President

Chapter 747: Chapter 736: Legion Commander, Judge, Vice President Chapter 747: Chapter 736: Legion Commander, Judge, Vice President “I don’t enjoy banquets. You go.” After boarding the carriage, Michaela said to Muria, her enthusiasm diminished now that their exhilarating oceanic battle journey had concluded and they were back on land, where opportunities for combat were significantly reduced.

“That… alright then!” Hearing Michaela refuse to attend the banquet, Muria, who had planned to show off his fiancée to the humans, could only sigh helplessly. If she didn’t want to go, he wouldn’t force her.

There was no need to persuade her. After all, attending a human feast would indeed be beneath Michaela. Muria would attend the banquet because he needed the humans’ assistance for a certain matter.

In this continent, the influence of churches like the Church of the Morning Glow was nearly nonexistent. Instead, the faith in the God of War was prevalent. Muria had little interaction with such divine forces and thus had no interest in seeking their help. Instead, he opted to resort to the local nobility, who, though somewhat tedious to deal with, were not beneath him.

“This is His Majesty Prince Muria! A king from overseas!” Above the banquet, Duke Milo of the Tulip Family introduced Muria thus to the nobles invited, in quite ambiguous terms.

Yet, the nobles showed no dissatisfaction with such a vague introduction. On the contrary, they raised their glasses in a toast to Muria with splendid enthusiasm. The twelve six-armed Naga standing beside him bore testament to Muria’s noble status.

“Help me with something!” After the banquet was over, Muria, waiting for Duke Milo’s visit, got straight to the point. He handed over six images of beautiful boys and lifelike recordings of Six Colored Dragons to Milo.

“Mobilize all your family’s resources to help me locate these six dragons.”

“Are these their human forms?” Duke Milo took the albums and cautiously inquired about Muria, eager to impress him in this first task the prince had entrusted him with.

“Yes.” Muria nodded his head, then briefly described the six Colored Dragons, who each possessed the exceptional ability to cast powerful spells.

“Your Majesty, I have found the six dragons you are looking for.” Surprisingly, information regarding the six dragons Muria wanted to locate was found quickly.

“So soon?” It had been merely three days since he had assigned the task. It was a tad unbelievable that Duke Milo had found the information so quickly, given that the influence of the Tulip family was limited to this duchy alone. Moreover, in comparison to the whole continent, the Sapphire Duchy was rather insignificant.

“The six dragons you are looking for hold positions in our suzerain state, the Guishuang Kingdom.” Duke Milo said with some excitement, “They are quite prominent, so it didn’t take much effort to find the information.”

“Oh!” Hearing that his six dragons had infiltrated the ruling class of a kingdom, Muria became really interested. “Tell me in detail the information you found.”

“Your Majesty, the six individuals you investigated are among the most influential rising noble families in the Guishuang Kingdom and wield significant power in various aspects within the kingdom.” As Duke Milo recalled the information he had gathered about these six emerging nobles, his face revealed a look of admiration.

“They do not openly identify themselves as dragons but claim to be dragonkin, which makes them very popular among the noble ladies of the Guishuang Kingdom.”

The Duke’s face showed a complex expression as he shared this. For the first time, Muria saw a look of envy on his face.

“Because the dragon’s blood is popular?”

“Yes, when they first entered the Guishuang Kingdom, they attended various salons held by noblewomen, enabling them to establish extensive connections and gather significant political capital. Since then, they have become a significant influence among the nobility of the Guishuang Kingdom.”

“…” Muria was left speechless; he could already imagine the kind of activities that took place in these energy-charged salons hosted by noblewomen wielding power. He had never anticipated that the six dragons he had fostered could accumulate political capital and gain power in this way on this continent.

“What positions do those six hold in the Guishuang Kingdom currently?” Muria asked after a long silence.

Muria’s casual tone made Duke Milo respect him more. He was aware of the great power the six individuals Muria had him investigate commanded within the Guishuang Kingdom but found that these authorities seemed rather insignificant to the Prince.

“Your Majesty, all six individuals you had me investigate hold the position of Marquis. Four of them are Legion Commanders in control of the Imperial Guard Legion responsible for defending the royal capital, the Second Airborne Fleet, and two frontier forces: the Fearless Legion and the Dawn Legion. One has entered the Guishuang Kingdom’s tribunal and serves as the Chief Judge, and the last one has joined the Guishuang Knight Academy, acting as Vice President and educating the young nobility.”

“So the men who gained power through women, four of them have joined the military system and two of them have entered the educational and legal systems?” Hearing the posts of the individuals, Muria asked in slight surprise. Their choices were indeed along the lines of what Muria had envisioned.

“Yes.” Upon seeing Muria maintain such an attitude, Duke Tulip couldn’t help but speculate about the relation between the six dragons Muria had asked him to investigate.

“Can your Tulip Family arrange a meeting between me and them? I would meet any one of them.”

“No problem, your Majesty. Our Tulip Family conducts business with a countess from Guishuang Kingdom. We can arrange your meeting with them through her.”

“My hero, it’s been such a long time since you last visited me. I missed you so much.” Inside a lavish castle, a stunning beauty with a full figure couldn’t wait to throw herself at the young general with armor who had just stepped in.

“Hahaha, too many affairs have kept me occupied. See, once done, I came over to meet you following your invitation.” The young man in armor held the voluptuous woman in his arms, a feverish passion blazing in his eyes.

Walking towards a room in the castle with the woman in her arms, all the maids blushed brightly and parted ways to make room for them, following behind them. They had heard tales of the general’s valor and knew that their mistress alone wouldn’t be enough to satisfy him.

Finally, the general carried the mistress of the castle, surrounded by a group of youthful and beautiful maids, to a room. With a loud “bang,” the door was shut behind them, and passionate sounds emitted from within, stirring the imagination of all those outside.

Meanwhile, a teenager with black hair and golden pupils looked impassively at the amorous scene from the open platform of this castle, while several maids stood behind him, looking at him adoringly.

“What a farce.” The boy suddenly snorted disdainfully. His anger was clear on his face, which briefly revealed a trace of power that terrified the maids behind him. They didn’t understand the identity of this distinguished guest who accompanied the merchant convoy, only that their mistress held him in high regard and even fear.

“They are really in the mood!” Muria sneered lightly at the castle beneath, where the general and the mistress of the castle were engaged in their physical pleasures.

Even though Muria was quite upset, he wouldn’t be so discourteous as to disrupt his subordinate who was clearly engrossed. He decided to wait for a while.

However, this wait turned out to be from day to night, and then the sun had risen again. At this point, Muria had been sipping tea for a whole day and night, maintaining a poker face echoless of any emotions.

Inside the castle, in an oddly aromatic room, the naked woman was sprawled over the stall-built young man, satisfaction written all over her face. As she flirted with the man beneath her, she suddenly remembered something,

“Angelo, do you know anyone from the Sapphire Duchy?”

“Sapphire? No. What’s up?” The redhead Angelo asked a little puzzled. He knew the Sapphire Duchy, but it was merely a minor duchy among the kingdoms subordinate to the Guishuang Kingdom.

“A few days ago, a handsome boy traveled here with a merchant convoy from the Sapphire Duchy. He insisted on seeing you and even gifted me a huge gem as a reward for arranging this meeting.”

“Did you invite me then? You are very obedient.” The red-haired young man Angelo slapped her round buttocks, obviously displeased, “How handsome? As handsome as me?”

“Seems about as handsome as you.” The widowed countess laughed, “But he was too severe and indifferent when talking to me. His arrogance was really annoying.”

“Oh, didn’t he respond to your advances?” Angelo knew the kind of woman she was. If sweet talk didn’t work, she would try a forceful approach. After all, she was a noble too.

“Not at all. He’s just a kid who doesn’t know how to enjoy himself.” The countess vehemently denied it, fuming at the memory. She originally intended to force herself on him, but the boy had slapped the wall so hard that it crumbled into powder. His force scared her, so she dared not mess with him afterwards.

“So, I retaliated. By now, he should have been waiting for you for a day and a night on the castle rooftop!” The countess showed a schadenfreude smile. According to her understanding, such a clean freak would feel too ashamed to interrupt them. And it seemed that her guess was correct.

“You really are getting cheeky.” Angelo laughed it off hearing her story and got dressed to go outside, “I’m going to see what this handsome boy from the Sapphire Duchy wants. Why did he go through such hassle to meet me?”

Just after Angelo, who had just dressed, pushed the door to the rooftop of the castle, he saw a black-haired teenager with golden pupils sitting there, calmly drinking tea. His red eyes met the magnificent golden pupils.

“Oh, are you done?” A voice devoid of any emotions echoed on the castle rooftop.
