Chapter 674 - 674 666 - Yo

Chapter 674: Chapter 666 – Yo! Chapter 674: Chapter 666 – Yo! Humiliated by Muria, the Dragon Hunter instantly went berserk, his body bursting into flames, as he loudly called for the divine power of the Dragon Hunting God, summoning the deity through the most primal way of worship.

Offering himself as a sacrifice to the deity he believed in, he tried to summon the divine power to counter Muria. However, Muria, in her giant dragon form, showed no reaction and sat quietly on the ground, watching his performance.

As the Dragon Hunter torched himself to summon the deity, the remaining legends halted their onslaught, staring at the slightly deranged Dragon Hunter with an expectant look in their eyes.

But the calmness in Muria’s eyes made the Dragon Hunter, whose armour had been shattered, feel even more uneasy, prompting him to call out to the deity more loudly in his growing madness.

A legend sacrificing himself quickly received the deity’s response. A majestic and vast fluctuation of power hovered around him. Following the special ritual, the power generated by the self-sacrifice of the legend swirled above the Dragon Hunter’s head. Under Muria’s gaze, a consciousness gradually formed out of nothingness.

Then, a pair of golden pupils appeared, with an indifferent gaze and a sense of superiority. They fixed their gaze on Muria, who was flicking her dragon tail. The Golden Giant Dragon smirked, revealing its sharp, snow-white dragon teeth. It made no reaction to this pair of golden pupils, behaving as if it was unaffected by the overwhelming force.

“Yo! You must be Malok,” greeted Muria in a very friendly manner, showing absolutely no humility that a weaker being should have when facing a divine incarnation.

Faced with Muria’s frivolous attitude, the Dragon Hunting God, whose will had descended, gave no response. The pair of golden pupils, formed from the blood sacrifice of the believers, slowly disappeared, and then there was no more response, as if they had never existed.

Located in the void, reachable only by the deity, within the Temple of All Gods, the divine incarnations of the gods mostly sat still. Those who conversed with each other usually only exchanged a few words. A deity’s incarnation, who resided at a higher area, suddenly opened its eyes, then quickly closed them again. This was simply a sync response to their body.

“Titan!” Sitting in the Divine Throne, the divine incarnation of the Dragon Hunter Malok, whose eyes were closed, was slightly annoyed but couldn’t do anything. If it were just a descendant of the Dragon King, he could send his incarnation to teach them a lesson. But with the Titan bloodline, it would be a different matter.

Therefore, this esteemed deity decided to act as if nothing had happened, as if the believers who had made the blood sacrifice didn’t exist. But as he was trying to ignore the matter, other deities were not willing to let him have his way.

“Hey, Malok, your believers have sacrificed themselves, aren’t you going to respond at all?” A voice filled with mockery echoed around the quiet Temple of All Gods, instantly attracting the attention of a few deities. They looked towards the source of the sound, only to see that it was a notorious deity, seated below those with powerful divine forces.

It was a robust dragon god with five dragon heads and a tail of the Bipedal Flying Dragon. The sight of the normally low-profile, relatively reticent Dragon Empress, suddenly provoking the Dragon Hunter instantly drew the attention of many more deities. One by one, the deities’ divine incarnations, who were initially sitting statue-like on their divine thrones, began to come alive. Even some with powerful divine forces slightly raised their heads to see the spectacle.

The conflict between the Dragon Hunter and the Five Colored Dragon Empress was evident just by looking at their deities; they were absolutely opposed to each other. Compared to other dragon gods, the hatred between the Dragon Hunter Malok and the mother of the Five Colored Dragons, Tiamat, ran the deepest.

Malok, the Dragon Hunter who was several generations down the line, was slightly more diplomatic than the dozen or so Dragon Hunters before him. Influenced by his position as a deity, he hunted dragons, but his primary target was the Five Colored Dragons. He didn’t care about the other dragons, and his believers mainly focused on hunting evil dragons. This was the reason he could occupy a seat in the Temple of All Gods till now.

Offending just one Dragon God, and one with the worst divine fate and fewest believers at that, was still within his tolerance. He just needed to bear the pressure from the Dragon Empress of the Five Colored Dragons. Almost no dragon gods would help this malicious Dragon Empress. Only her blood brother, the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut, would occasionally lend her a hand, but he usually just sat by and did nothing.

Hearing the sudden outcry from the Dragon Empress, the divine incarnation of Malok showed no change in expression and he slightly opened his eyes and cast a glance at her. His pupils flashed a fiery red divine light, unreservedly revealing his murderous intent. Then he slowly closed his eyes again. The response was considered normal and drew no surprise from the other deities.

Seeing the Dragon Hunter unresponsive, the Dragon Empress remained unperturbed. She laughed, all her five dragon heads grinning widely. Every deity could see the mockery and ridicule in her eyes.

“Malok, are you planning to hide like a terrified turtle? A believer has sacrificed himself in blood and you don’t respond at all. You’re quite the coward. You should be called the God of Cowardice from now on.”

“Tiamat, do you wish to perish?” Malok’s eyes were completely open now, staring at the Dragon Empress.

“What’s all this bragging about? If you dare, come kill me at the Abyssal Plain. If you can actually kill me, then that would prove your power.” Faced with the threat from this strong deity, the Dragon Empress Tiamat feared nothing. She stood her ground, challenging him directly.

Not far from the divine throne of the Dragon Empress, a statue-like Platinum Giant Dragon that had been sprawling on its divine throne stirred. It opened its eyes and slightly raised its head, looking at the Dragon Hunter. Despite their antagonistic relationship, it was in the same faction as the Dragon Empress when dealing with this deity.

“Tiamat, what happened?” The Platinum Dragon God spoke up. He didn’t understand why the Dragon Empress would suddenly provoke the Dragon Hunter. Although there was indeed a grudge between them, there needed to be a specific reason for a flare-up.

“I don’t have any issues. It’s this coward Malok that something special has happened to.” The Dragon Empress didn’t hide the malice in her eyes.

“What happened?” asked a goddess shrouded in hazy moonlight. Her voice was filled with curiosity. As a god who has lived since the ancient times, she didn’t need to take any deities into consideration.

“This coward Malok’s legendary believer was about to be killed by a dragon. Then his believer offered himself as a blood sacrifice, wishing to summon Malok’s divine power for help, but this guy just ignored it and pretended to be deaf and dumb.”

The Five Colored Dragon Empress blurted out everything she had seen. Her five dragon heads were full of malice, staring at the Dragon Hunter. Her eyes were filled with mockery.
