Chapter 647: Chapter 642: Drinking Tea, Chatting, and Appreciating Flowers Chapter 647: Chapter 642: Drinking Tea, Chatting, and Appreciating Flowers “Mika, this move goes like this.”
On the spacious martial arts field, Muria first demonstrated the Titan battle techniques to Michaela, then taught her up close and personal. This should have been a wonderful thing, but there was an unwanted figure nearby.
“Muria, why are you so close to Mika? Let go of her.” Nearby, a man whom Muria found annoying kept nagging.
“I’m teaching Mika battle techniques, and after all, she is my fiancée, what’s wrong with me being a little close?”
“Your relationship has not been confirmed yet, so be mindful.”
“Well, fine then!” A vein was throbbing on Muria’s forehead.
“How do you feel now?” Irvicester asked Michaela, in a gentle tone, befitting his senior brother’s identity.
“I still need to practice some more.” Michaela glanced at Muria’s face, hesitating. She didn’t know how to balance her relationship with her older brother and her partner.
“In that case, let your brother practice with you. I’ll go for a stroll and clear my head.”
This time, there was no sense of displeasure on Muria’s face. With a smile and a meaningful glance at Irvicester, he left the specially built training ground.
“Where do you plan to clear your mind?” Irvicester asked.
“None of your business.” Muria left without looking back.
Irvicester pondered for a moment, looked at his sister, suppressed the idea of chasing after to ask, and started practicing with his sister. Meanwhile, a sense of unease began to brew in his heart.
After leaving the training ground, Muria looked up at the sky. Above were three Cloud Cities bathed in sacred light. With a slight smile, his golden dragon wings materialized behind him. With a gentle flutter, he turned into a rainbow light, ascended to the sky, and flew toward a Cloud City that was faintly spreading floral fragrance.
“Sister Feiye Ti, sorry to intrude. I’m here for some tea.” Muria flew into Cloud City. Guided by a group of angels, he saw Feiye Ti, a female Blazing Sky God Descendant who was tending the garden, and greeted her with an embarrassed smile.
“No problem, I’m just glad you like it here.” Although it was a surprise that Muria came just one day after promising to do so, Feiye Ti had an inkling of what was happening. Relying on her nearly three hundred years of life experience, she didn’t point it out.
Even though she liked to enjoy life, had a laid-back personality and was somewhat lazy, it was the result of the peaceful environment of the Boundless Heavenly Realm, where there was virtually no war. So, loving to fight under such circumstances was indeed very odd.
Feiye Ti, of course, as the master of Cloud City, sat with Muria at the highest point to enjoy tea and the scenery. Muria didn’t feel awkward. As he enjoyed the tea and admired the flowers, he asked Feiye Ti about various exquisite spirit flowers. He seemed relaxed and natural, and their interaction was quite harmonious.
Both of them didn’t understand what these flowers were. He didn’t know anything and simply thought these flowers looked beautiful. But that was enough.
“Where’s Mika? Don’t you need to accompany her since you’re here for tea?”
“Why would I need to accompany her when her brother is there?” Muria picked up his flower tea and sipped it quietly with a calm demeanor.
“What’s Irvicester up to?”
“He was just there watching when I was teaching Michaela battle techniques. When I was instructing her, he interrupted me and felt I shouldn’t have too intimate contact with Michaela. He’s keeping a close eye.”
“He loves his sister dearly.”
“I know.” Muria smiled slightly, looking at two petite and lovely flower spirits who were filling up his already empty teapot.
“So I left him there and came here to relax, have some tea and enjoy the scenery. It feels pretty good.
Sister Feiye Ti, I wasn’t joking in what I said yesterday. I will indeed be coming here often, so I hope you don’t mind.”
“It doesn’t matter, most of the time I have nothing to do. I just care for some plants and flowers, play with these adorable little spirits, or practice some music.”
“Many kings and emperors envy the life you lead.”
“Why do I feel like you’re being sarcasic? As far as I know, many Titans look down upon the lifestyle of the divine descendants like mine.”
“I don’t know about other Titans, but as for me, I really envy your leisurely life.”
“With the resources you currently have, if you want to, you can transform all your Cloud Islands into something like my Cloud City. It’s easy.”
“And then what?” Muria smiled, “If I were to really follow your example, and my father and grandfather were to find out about it, it wouldn’t take long for all my transformed Cloud Islands to be completely destroyed.”
“That’s true.” Feiye Ti pondered Muria’s assumption, and her lips curled up in a slight smile.
“Moreover, personally, although I envy your life, I wouldn’t follow suit since I’ll lose sight of my own goals and never be able to accomplish certain things.”
Muria watched a few curious flower spirits land on his shoulder and turned his head to show them a friendly smile, “You can continue your peaceful and simple life, but I can’t. My birth has determined my choices.”
“Born as a Titan in Erathia, born for war. Sometimes I do envy you Titans, you have the freedom to travel in the void without any constraints when your strength reaches a certain level, but we’re trapped within the boundary of the world and can’t leave at all.”
“It’s for your own good, the void is really dangerous.” Muria remembered the first time he traveled in the void where he encountered that powerful being who claimed to be a god. He possessed such immense power that Muria still couldn’t forget it. However, such an existence, according to his own description, gave Muria the feeling that he still couldn’t rank among them in the void. Of course, it could be that he was just being modest.
“Yes, with enough strength, you can go where you want. That is true freedom. Titans are the ones that are envied. I’ve gotten used to the peace, I can’t do what you Titans do.”
“Freedom is relative, how much power is enough to go wherever I want in the void?” Muria asked.
…The pleasant conversation seemed to fly by. It seemed like only a moment passed when Muria turned his head to see a furious Irvicester standing at the entrance of the pavilion, staring at him.
