Kill Me, My Love

Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Compared to the room in the estate, the room was indeed luxurious. A huge bed, two soft chairs, a colorful carpet, a TV with ten channels. Hot water flowed from the taps, and no one was timing the water procedures. If she wished, the girl could close the door, fill the bathtub and lie there for a whole hour. Or two hours.

- Who will sleep where? - she asked.

- We don’t need to sleep, - Nathan replied. - And we also don’t need to eat or drink, and there are many things we don’t do that mortals do. Oh, what fools we are, Lina, - the light one suddenly slapped his forehead, while Sam sprawled out on the bed (without taking off his shoes) carelessly switching channels. - You’re probably hungry? When’s the last time you ate?

- Last night, - the girl replied and felt her stomach give a pitiful signal at the mention of food.

She thought she might perish of shame right there on the first floor of the hotel. But the men paid no attention to her.

- What will you have – pizza? Burger? Coke?

- I don’t know, I’ve never eaten that. Choose what you like.

- Then I’ll take everything. I’ll go now to the reception, maybe they’ll suggest some 24-hour diner.

Nathan grabbed his wallet and left the room.

Lina and Samael were left alone, and an awkward silence fell. The girl sat in the chair feeling out of place, and Sam suddenly turned off the TV and asked her:

- How is it?

- What is "it"?

- How do you live with the thought that you’ll soon have to die?

- I don’t know, - she shrugged and looked directly into his black, predatory eyes. - I've known about the mission since childhood, so I got used to the idea of death. What’s it like to be dark? What’s it like to be so powerful and immortal?

- Sometimes it’s fun. But mostly it’s boring and sad, - the man said completely seriously, all his irony and sarcasm gone.

- So which is worse: to die young or to spend eternity in sorrow? - Lina asked and, standing up, headed towards the bathroom.

She wasn’t expecting an answer.

Lina pressed the glossy bag to her chest and stepped out of the car. Dense firs grew thickly by the roadside, and that’s where she headed. As soon as she hid in the prickly thicket, she heard the car door slam and the click of a lighter. Sam probably decided to smoke again.

She pulled the dress over her head, and left with nothing on, felt someone’s burning gaze. She immediately turned around and saw Samael behind her.

The upper buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned, revealing a lovely view of his broad, muscular chest, and in his hand lay a rough rope... Fiery lights flickered in his eyes.

- It won't hurt, - he said hoarsely, stepping closer to her.

The girl froze, hypnotically staring at his lips; she did not move, feeling her legs freeze from a sweet anticipation.

Sam traced his finger down her cheek, down to her neck, chest, and stomach. With his free hand, he grabbed the girl’s wrists and, pulling them behind her back, tied them tightly. The rope dug painfully into her skin, but Lina was not troubled by it.

- Now you are in my power, - Sam whispered in her ear and licked the lobe.

- In your power, - Lina echoed, and without realizing what she was doing, pressed against his body.

He radiated such heat and tension that the girl was ready to yield to him immediately. Just to feel a man as close as possible.

- What do you want, Lina? - he asked, pronouncing her name as if it were the most erotic word in the world.

- I want. You, - the girl exhaled heavily.

- Your word is law for me, - Sam replied, and with one hand, he grabbed her by the hips, while the other dove into her hair and kissed her.

Hotly and persistently, annihilating all boundaries in an instant. His tongue intertwined with hers, wrapping and conquering, leaving no doubt about who was in charge now. Their lips burned, breaths were caught, fingers roamed everywhere they could and couldn't, making her bend with pleasure. Lina melted, her hands scratched by the rope. She lay paralyzed yet felt more alive than she ever had before. And then he penetrated her, and she screamed.

* * *

She opened her eyes from her own scream.

- Is something wrong? - Nathan jumped up to the bed immediately.

- No, nothing, - the girl replied with a trembling voice, trying to calm her excited nerves.

She ran her hand through her damp hair and felt an intense gaze.

Sam was sitting in a chair, staring straight at her. Flames of desire and passion burned in his eyes, and a sly smile played on his lips. He knew exactly what she had dreamed about.
