Chapter 308: I Will Blow Out Your Brain

Chapter 308: I Will Blow Out Your Brain

"Hold it! Where do you think you’re going to? Just a few moments ago, you were clamoring about how you were going to deal with us. Now, you are thinking about getting away? It’s not that easy!" Raymond’s voice made Jack and the group pause their movements.

Jack and the group had already understood that today, no matter what, it would be impossible to be able to deal with Michael. Therefore, the moment that Jack said that they should retreat, everyone was determined to do so.

As for those that have been beaten up by Michael, nobody cared about them. If they could, they should save themselves, as at the moment, those that were currently uninjured were only thinking about saving themselves.

"What do you mean by this? Are you really willing to go all out against us?" With a twisted expression, Jack asked as he gazed at Michael.

He understood, the person who could make the final decision was Michael. Therefore, he hoped that Michael would let them go.

Of course, this was not going to be the end of this matter. As soon as they left here, Jack was planning on finding Ethan, so that he could let him know about what had happened here.

"To deal with you, I don’t really need to go all out against you. Anyway, you better behave yourselves and call Ethan over. Otherwise, you are not leaving here today." Michael shrugged as he responded.

Jack was just about to say something when suddenly, his eyes went wide. He was not the only one, as everyone around was shocked.

They all gazed at Michael, who had taken out a gun! Since most of them were paying attention to Jack, only Jack saw that Michael pulled the gun from behind.

Of course, this was just a new gun that Michael had bought. The other one that he had bought back then when he was saving Melvin, he had left it at the villa. Who would have anticipated that he would have to use a gun in such a situation?

Without caring about the expressions of the people around, Michael simply said, "Now then, bring the weapons that you have on you here. You will have to stand still, and receive a beating. Otherwise, if you dare to resist, I can’t promise that I will not shoot."

"Y-you! This is a society governed by law! It is illegal to shoot us! And, there are CCTV cameras inside this shooting range. Are you not afraid that the police will arrest you?" Jack panicked as he spoke.

If it was just Michael talking about beating them, they could have just run out of the shooting lane, and out of the shooting range. While he might have gotten some of them, would he be able to get all of them?

But now, things had completely changed with Michael taking out the gun. Who had the confidence to run away now? After all, the person who would make the first move would be the one targeted.

Max, who had not yet left, felt a chill running down his spine. Even he had not anticipated that Michael had a gun on him. At the same time, he was left puzzled.

For every person that entered the shooting lane, there were countermeasures in place that would prevent them from entering with weapons.

There was no alarm when Michael came in. So, how did he have a gun on him? Could it be that for some reason, the detection system had been tempered with?

Just the thought of that made him shiver slightly. He wondered, could it be that Michael had already known about this in advance? Then how terrifying was his ability to be able to gather intel?

At this moment, all the thoughts that he had about going against Michael had already disappeared. Since he had been given the chance to leave, he no longer wanted to continue staying here.

"You are talking to us about the law? Don’t you know that you were the ones who attacked first? Additionally, this is my turf now. Currently, the cameras are on maintenance. So, they are really is nothing that the police can find to use as evidence against me." Michael shrugged as he responded.

"Y-you!" This time, Jack was not sure about what to do. Since Michael had already bought this place, he definitely could delete the feed recorded during this time.

And because he was the owner here, he could ask the employees to play along, and it would be much easy for him to be able to deal with the police if they came.

In this situation, Jack understood that there was only one solution now. That was the contact Ethan. There was really no other way to deal with this problem, unless Michael was willing to let them go.

But looking at Michael, it was clear that he had no intention of letting them leave. Therefore, with his body trembling, he reached his hand into his pants pockets, pulling out his phone.

At the same time, he said, "Okay, I will call."

Immediately after he said those words, he began dialing on the screen of the phone, and a little while later, he brought the phone close to his ear.

"What is it? Have you already dealt with the matter that I told you to deal with?" A faint male voice came through the phone’s earpiece, making Jack shiver.

"N-no... T-there was a problem. There is this guy here called M-Michael, he prevented us from completing the task that you assigned us. Right now, h-he is asking for you to come over." Jack stammered as he responded.

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the call, before a response came about 3 seconds later, "Okay, give me a few minutes, I will be over there in a while."

Immediately after responding, Ethan ended the call, not giving Jack a chance of saying anything.

Jack did not have the courage to call again. So, he looked at Michael and said, "Young master Ethan said that he is coming over. If you know what’s good for you, then you better let us go. Otherwise, if young master Ethan gets here, today next year will be your death anniversary."

Since Ethan was coming over, Jack regained some confidence. He felt, as long as Ethan was here, Michael would definitely not be able to do anything to him.

So, he was finally able to talk to Michael, but not as confident as when he had just arrived. After all, Ethan was not here just yet. Who knew, maybe Michael might decide to suddenly shoot them.

"Don’t worry, just sit down, and wait. But I don’t have much time to waste on you. If he delays for over 30 minutes, I will shoot you dead." Michael responded.

This made Jack and his group feel a shiver running down their spines. And, when they noticed that Max and his group of men were leaving, Jack felt panicked.

"Max, where the heck are you going to? We are currently on the same boat. If you leave now, he will definitely come looking for you." Jack tried to convince Max to stay.

"Do you take me for an idiot? You continue staying here, this has nothing to do with me. Anyway, I was only helping out because I was the one in charge of the shooting range.

But as you have just heard, he bought the shooting range already. This is no longer my territory, and I have no power to help you out. So, see how you’re going to sort out this problem on your own." Max snorted as he responded.

He did not intend to wait for Ethan to come over. Instead, he thought, he would just leave, and not get himself involved in this issue.

As for the consequences of that, he would have to think about what to do later on, especially after understanding why the old man sold the shooting range.

At least, for now, he could avoid death. While he initially had the advantage while holding the gun, the attitude and composure that Michael showed left him uneasy.

He was not sure where Michael got the confidence to be so unafraid in front of the gun, but Max was not willing to take the chance. Who knew, maybe there was someone guarding him in the shadows?

Even though the shooting lane was enclosed, who could tell if that person was inside here? If Michael was able to bring in a gun without being detected, maybe the person protecting you was already inside the shooting lane before this incident occurred.

Jack initially intended to block Max, so that he could not leave. He thought, as long as Max was here, at least, he would have the courage to continue staying here while waiting for Ethan’s arrival.

But if he was left to face Michael on his own, what was it supposed to do? As for these other guys around him, they were all useless.

He was the leader of the entire group, and was the only person who used his brains. As for these others, all that they knew about was how to enjoy themselves and vent their frustrations when irritated. As for the consequences, most of the time, they did not even bother to think about them.

"Get out of the way, or I will blow out your brain." With narrowed eyes, Max said as he pointed the gun towards Jack who had just rushed to stand in front of him.
