Chapter 281: Revelation (Part-1)
In the underground of the House Crimson, the basement.
In a dark corridor, two footsteps echoed.
"Heh, My Love, what should we do about him?" Rahu asked, tightening his grip on Ophelia’s waist. Ophelia’s smile turned wicked.
"The cruelest torture, of course, and leave that to me. Hubby"
Ophelia pressed closer to his chest, breathing in his scent repeatedly.
After a few days of resting, Ophelia had woken up; her injury was, fortunately, unrelated to her soul. But the reason she woke up after Yveline was because of the lasting effects of the Holy Fire, which Solvane had used to gouge her eyes.
But Rahu had, of course, healed her fully the moment he had arrived; she was out because of the side effects of using her physique and the Celestia Divine Blade.
Speaking of the blade, Rahu turned towards her curiously.
"My Love, that blade you use. I’m sure it isn’t from the Mortal Realm?"
"Yes...it was my mother’s sword. It only responds to me because I have her blood running through me. But I still couldn’t use its power fully; I likely only used 30 percent."
After a bit of thinking, Ophelia answered, her dull silver hairs floating.
"Hmm...I suppose I can now expedite the process of waking your mother. That should help us gain another powerful fighter."
Rahu nodded. Since the failure of that experiment, he dared not use the Radiant Monarch’s blood so casually.
After all, he had just a drop of it. But since then, he had been experimenting on the faceless beings continuously. He was relentless and unwavering despite failing thousands of times.
At the end, he came to the conclusion together with his harem.
There were two main problems for that—at least the ones they discovered.
The first one was his law—The Supreme Law of Death, the moment he used it as the base of creation. The being would shatter one hundred percent; this was different from when he used it with Silveria.
And the second one is...body. Not the fleshy one, but its existence. Rahu needed a template...a strong one.
He did not need someone merely strong; that word was far too inadequate. He needed a resilient being, one that existed on a higher plane.
And he was certain he wouldn’t find such a being in the Mortal Plane.
"But dear, why did you keep him alive? I’m sure you have millions of other ways to torture him. And even death cannot save him."
Ophelia tilted her head at him curiously. It was true...he had already explained the Laws to them.
The only reason he hadn’t told them earlier was that he was sure they wouldn’t understand it one bit.
But...there were a few who actually did. The Silver-head beside him was one such example. The rest were Yveline, Miranthu, Yueshan, and the most shocking one was...Amelia.
Yes, even the one that had more than a few loose screws understood the basics. Hearing her question, Rahu grinned.
"True...but it’s temporary. He’s more useful than he looks. There was no way in hell that he had obtained that Holy Sun Flame and that...absurd power of his out of nowhere."
His eyes shone as he spoke...the Ascension realm wasn’t the final realm in the Mortal Plane. A cultivator still had to master one of the divinities to ascend to higher realms.
That’s not a necessity...it was one of the core requirements for the lower plane cultivators. Otherwise, they wouldn’t even be allowed in the Upper Expanse.
But the ones born inside it were exempt from the rule; the creator was probably drunk when he made these rules.
"So you are saying he’s from...The Celestial Expanse?"
Ophelia sucked a cold breath when she heard that, no, she wasn’t surprised because he was from the Celestial Expanse. The concerning thing was that...there was no way he could’ve interacted with just anyone. A unique and powerful flame like the Holy flame...could only be given by its creator or the one who had mastered it up to an absurd level—basically the creator’s lackeys.
"Hmm"
Rahu nodded but didn’t say anything. Their walk had come to an end as they stood in front of a huge door.
Creak
"Ohhh, Rahu, you really are one cruel motherfucker."
Ophelia’s smile widened as she saw the scene inside, inside a dimly lit chamber. In the center, suspended by a naked man by razor-thin adamantine chains that dug deep into his wrists, ankles, and...scrotum...was hung a broken man once called Solvane.
His eyelids were long gone, replaced with short, spiked poles. Constantly inflicting pain. There was nothing but raw, weeping sockets that could only stare.
Every inch of his skin was methodically flashed in spiral patterns that exposed the muscles.
Salt and some downright evil alchemical acids have been ground into the wounds in cycles to his nerves.
Rahu smiled and stepped forward. With a casual flick, he summoned a thick black tendril that burrowed into Solvane’s...urethra. Inflating his bladder with the most corruptive and painful venom there could be...
"GHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
A broken voice left his dried-up mouth, and tears of blood dripped down his cheeks as he tried to struggle.
"My Love, this is just the beginning. But, what do you think about my masterpiece?" Rahu’s smile widened as he turned towards Ophelia.
"Its simply...magnificant"
Ophelia murmured, her eyes shining as she looked at the torture that was being inflicted upon Solvane.
Stepping forward, she moved towards Solvane. "I had already warned you; getting killed was the least of your worries the moment you laid your hands on me."
Ophelia shook her head in pity, but...raising her leg back.
WHACK!!!
"ARGHHHH!!! NOOOO!! IT HURTS!!!!!"
Solvane roared in pain as Ophelia kicked his balls. "Heh, bastard."
Saying that, she removed the boot from which she had kicked his balls and threw it away before burning it.
Rahu chuckled and waved his hand, and in an instant, Solvane was thrown down.
COUGH COUGH
He coughed a mouthful of blood before a large hand gripped his hair.
"Now, I don’t mind torturing you for another decade, but...you don’t want that, right? Rejoice ant, for I have decided to kill you if you reveal some things for me."
Rahu spoke, his voice sweet as honey. Ophelia’s chuckle echoed behind him as she watched the show amusingly.
