Chapter 516 - 514: Lu Jincheng, I don’t want to be your sister anymore!

Qin Huaixin waved her hand, indicating helplessness. She was quite surprised when she first found out about it too, but it’s a fact!

Xiao Qing didn’t dare to ask further, burying herself in eating. After a couple bites, the phone rang. It was her eldest son calling, asking when she would come back.

She thought for a moment; they had been out for quite a while today, and it was time to return home. Qin Huaixin’s daughter should also be home by now, so she told her eldest son that she would be back soon, and he hung up the phone.

The eldest son is not like the youngest; he generally wouldn’t bother her under normal circumstances. Clearly, he really missed Mommy.

"Xin’er, the child is home now. Let’s go back, and we can bring the kids when we meet up over the weekend."

But Qin Huaixin had already opened the car door, rolled down the window, and waved goodbye to her.

Back at Jinxiu Garden, both the eldest and youngest sons pounced on her.

"Mommy, Daddy said you and Auntie Shuang’er went to eat something delicious." The youngest son pouted in Xiao Qing’s arms, looking wronged.

Xiao Qing couldn’t help but laugh, looking at the eldest son, "Eldest son, isn’t it because Daddy said this that you called Mommy?"

"Not at all!" The eldest son looked disdainfully at the youngest, "Mommy, why is my sister both dumb and gluttonous?"

At this comment, Xiao Qing was instantly disheveled.

This little rascal is just a kid, and he’s complaining that his sister is gluttonous? And dumb?

Xiao Qing didn’t know about other kids, but in her eyes, her youngest son’s intelligence was certainly not low. Liking to eat, though, that was true.

They both looked at the youngest son, who stared back at them with red eyes and a face full of anger, "Lu Jincheng, I never want to be your sister again!"

After speaking, he slid down from Xiao Qing’s arms and ran away.

Lu Jinyang came out of the room and saw the youngest son run back to his room quickly. He asked Xiao Qing, "What happened?"

As soon as he spoke, the eldest son also slid down from Xiao Qing’s embrace and said, "Mommy, I’ll go see my sister."

After the two children left, Xiao Qing and Lu Jinyang stared at each other in bewilderment, not immediately understanding what had just happened.

"Did I just hear the youngest son calling the eldest son’s name?"

Xiao Qing nodded; she had heard it too.

Lu Jinyang said nothing more, stepping forward and embracing Xiao Qing as they walked towards the bedroom, "Let the children sort it out themselves."

After the two of them went back to their room to wash up, they prepared to go to bed. Then there was a knock on the door.

Xiao Qing instinctively pulled the quilt over herself, while Lu Jinyang calmly put on a housecoat and opened the door.

"Daddy, where’s Mommy?"

Lu Jinyang glanced towards the bed, "Mommy’s asleep."

Hearing this, Xiao Qing took a deep breath and quickly lay down, pretending to sleep.

She sorrowfully discovered that ever since Lu Jinyang moved in, she had to pretend to sleep every other day.

With her eyes closed, she listened to the voice outside, and heard the eldest son say, "I want to tell Mommy... that my sister and I made up."

In a place Xiao Qing couldn’t see, Lu Jinyang squatted down and tenderly rubbed the eldest son’s head, "It’s okay. It’s good to correct your mistakes, Daddy and Mommy love you."
