Chapter 485 - 483: I Want Daddy to Hold Me

That night, Lu Jinyang decided to sleep at home so he could be in his best condition to take his kids to school the next day. He and Xiao Qing had discussed and agreed on this.

Before heading home, Lu Jinyang made sure to call Peng Yi to the hospital to take over, only then did he feel reassured to leave.

"Daddy, are we going to school soon?"

"Yes. But Big Treasure, Little Treasure, your mom enrolled you in the wrong class so you can only play there for a year, then you’ll start elementary school."

If Xiao Qing were there, she would have rolled her eyes upon hearing Lu Jinyang’s words. Could kids under five really understand this?

But, Big Treasure understood.

"Mommy is still so foolish, she didn’t let us start school earlier, and now she doesn’t let us stay in kindergarten for more years."

Lu Jinyang glanced at him indifferently and said expressionlessly: "A man’s ambition lies in traveling far and wide, don’t fret about these couple of years meant for play."

Upon hearing this, Big Treasure immediately focused on his breakfast.

Meanwhile, Little Treasure kept talking to Lu Jinyang while eating, causing him to shake his head involuntarily, not sure whom Little Treasure got his chatty nature from. It’s manageable now while he’s young, but it could be problematic if he doesn’t change as he grows up.

As they grow, they should learn to eat quietly and go to bed without fuss.

An hour later, at the entrance of Tongxin Kindergarten, the black mass of cars was packed, a glance over the area revealed it was all luxury vehicles.

Lu Jinyang finally found a parking spot, carrying the kids’ backpacks, with one hand holding Little Treasure, and Little Treasure’s other hand holding onto Big Treasure.

His tall figure stood out in the crowd, coupled with a pair of stunning twins, and their incredibly handsome father, the trio definitely captured a lot of attention.

All along the way, Big Treasure was genuinely annoyed.

The love-struck aunties had their eyes glued to Daddy as if they were stuck to him and couldn’t be peeled off. Even though he hadn’t fully accepted this step-daddy, he could not let those aunties steal him away.

Moreover, if one of those aunties became his step-mother or something, he felt he would be truly miserable.

Therefore, he let go of Little Treasure’s hand, ran in front of Lu Jinyang, and blocked his path.

Lu Jinyang frowned, "What’s wrong?"

"Daddy, I want a hug."

Lu Jinyang suddenly widened his eyes, "What did you say?"

"I want Daddy to hug me." Big Treasure repeated.

Once he finished speaking, his little body suddenly lifted up, his small face brimming with uncontrollable joy.

Lu Jinyang silently observed his son’s expressions. From the moment he appeared, Lu Jinyang had noticed that this son didn’t really like him much, and he never initiated any hugs, which was why he was startled just now.

Seeing Daddy holding his brother, Little Treasure got unhappy, shouting loudly, "Daddy, Daddy, I want a hug too, I want..."

"Yes."
