8/10 - Very nice, slightly wholesome K-drama-esque novel. Slow burn, well written, thought out characters. I'm sure there will be some anger at the FMCs actions at various times, but due to the character building, their actions become more understandable and palatable for people in their positions. I would recommend this as a good slow-burn romance novel. I have read the MTL to chapter 120 and so this review is of the state of the novel at that point and not presently at 37 chapters translated and edited.

MC is broken man whos childhood sweetheart demanded his heart, chewed it up and spat it out. his first wife is broken woman despised by own family and uses her as a tool. not much to judge in first 22 chapters but i assume it will be about broken people navigating their life in fantasy world. if anything to gripe about is that MC tad on a Simp spectrum with his sudden desire to take care of someone you just met. either he will get back with childhood bitch or not be a dealbreaker for me here. never ever, ever get back with someone who broke you. over all its worth a try reading what little there, doubt many will consider their time wasted
