Chapter 257 257: Achievement Unlocked: The End?
Zeke began to use Minecraft's Creative Mode to remodel the Warp.
Zeke caused all the goodwill in the Warp, those beautiful emotions, and the souls of various races—including humanity—to float upward; concurrently, he pressed down all the malice, along with those ancient entities harboring sinister intentions, sinking them to the very bottom.
Between the two layers, he separated them with Bedrock.
The Warp itself was boundless, and the amount of Bedrock in Zeke's hands was equally infinite. Infinity meeting infinity—visually, it looked like Bedrock blocks were spawning out of thin air, unfurling and spreading in all directions, expanding faster and faster.
A thunderous rumble echoed through the void as the Bedrock stretched across the middle.
Below the Bedrock became a containment zone for indescribable gods of unknown alignment. With the Bedrock blocking them, they couldn't make any waves anymore.
Above the Bedrock, Zeke began to lay down Stone. Layers upon layers of Stone were stacked atop the Bedrock, followed by Dirt, and finally Grass Blocks.
Land, just like that, appeared.
Of course, Zeke didn't pave everything into land. He left vast expanses of depressions and filled them with water.
The Warp now had oceans as well.
The drifting souls in the Warp, those human souls from the material world, now had a place to rest, no longer having to worry about their souls being snatched away by entities like the four Chaos Gods.
The Warp and realspace were inherently interdependent and mutually influential.
The human mind is shaped by its environment. If the Warp was a desolate wasteland, chaotic and dark, the souls immersed within it would be eroded and corrupted.
But if the Warp was thriving and full of vitality, the souls experiencing beauty here would also positively influence the material world.
Of course, bad people would still be bad people, and good people would still be good people; the complexity of human nature could not be fundamentally changed.
Zeke had no delusions of changing human nature through his own power alone. He merely made the world a little bit better within the scope of his capabilities.
The Warp—the greatest dilemma facing human civilization—was considered solved.
It wasn't perfectly flawless, but what came next would have to rely on humanity itself.
Zeke raised his head and looked toward the dome of the Warp; that was the direction of the material world. "The rest is up to humanity."
Having said that, he turned and walked away. Behind him, the sun still shone brightly, and the waves still gently crashed against the shore.
Just like... Minecraft.
Before Zeke could feel too much sentiment, a rift tore open in the Warp.
The Macragge's Honour, enveloped in a Geller Field, sailed out. At the helm was Guilliman. The Angel and the Lion had also brought their elites along.
Having learned that Zeke was going to counterattack the Warp, they had rushed over to help. Unfortunately, they were a step too late.
"This... is this really the Warp?"
The beautifully scenic Warp instantly shocked everyone aboard the ship.
Zeke flew down. "Actually, you don't need the Geller Field anymore. Most of the dangers in the Warp have been buried underneath by me."
"Zeke, this..." Guilliman couldn't comprehend everything happening before his eyes; he couldn't even speak clearly.
"Simply put, I beat the crap out of the four gods, then remodeled the Warp a bit. Humanity won't need to fear the Warp anymore."
Zeke's explosive statement made the brains of the three Primarchs aboard the ship short-circuit for a moment.
"You guys can start thinking about your retirement life. There's a high probability that Space Marines won't be needed in the future. Of course, I'll convince the Emperor to give you a good retirement."
Zeke added this sentence. Considering how the Emperor had once disposed of the Thunder Warriors, the probability of Him crossing the river and burning the bridge with the Space Marines was not exactly small.
Guilliman's expression froze on his face. Everything around them was suddenly paused in time.
A middle-aged man with a sword pierced through his chest also suddenly appeared with a somewhat leisurely demeanor, walking toward Zeke. "Zeke, it seems you did it."
Zeke shot Him a sideways glance. It was the Emperor.
This guy probably has some shady business to discuss, having to freeze time for His entrance just to avoid people's eyes and ears.
"Yeah, I did it. But why don't you just step out openly?"
"I'm thinking about My retirement plans. What do you think about Me using this feigned death to slip away?"
Zeke stood shoulder to shoulder with the Emperor.
For the very first time, the Emperor truly opened His heart to Zeke, without any scheming. His entire life had only one goal: to free humanity from the sea of suffering.
Now, Zeke had accomplished it for Him. The Emperor no longer had anything left to hide in His heart.
"If you dare to do that, Malcador won't let you off the hook," Zeke said. "Besides, I still have one thing I need your help with."
Zeke took out two items and shoved them into the Emperor's hands: a Transmutation Tablet with infinite EMC value, and a Creative Energy Cube.
The former contained limitless resources, inexhaustible and endless; the latter was a product of Creative Mode, capable of outputting infinite energy.
"You know how it is. Although these two things are great, handing them directly to the human race to use will absolutely cause chaos. So, I still need you to work hard and guide them a bit."
Looking at Zeke's expression, the Emperor let out a sigh.
"Alright," He said.
When time resumed its flow, the Emperor had vanished, and Guilliman and the others recovered.
The Macragge's Honour then carried Zeke and sailed toward Terra.
"Guilliman, what do you plan to do in the future?"
"Hmm, first I'll find the rest of my Primarch brothers, then I'll make further plans. What about you, Zeke? What are your next plans?"
"Perhaps I'll leave this place and start a new adventure. As for the future... who knows?"
The Macragge's Honour disappeared into the Warp.

Thanks to the two technologies rolled out by the Officio Logisticarum—the Transmutation Tablet and Infinite Energy—coupled with the pacification of the Warp, humanity stepped into a new era.
Nearly infinite supplies and energy flooded into civilization like a torrent. Money and jobs lost their meaning.
However, these two technologies did not bring the peace people had hoped for; instead, they brought deeper chaos.
Selfish desires expanded infinitely alongside infinite resources, while responsibility quietly dissolved amidst the abundance. The willingness to reproduce plummeted to rock bottom, and various problems followed one after another.
Fortunately, the Emperor stepped forward once again.
With unshakeable prestige and near-divine wisdom and power, He acted as the Philosopher King, parting the fog and finding a way to break the deadlock.
Humanity officially entered the Golden Age.
With material desires completely satisfied, people's gazes began to turn toward something far deeper: the wilderness of the mind.
Knowledge became the treasure everyone competed to pursue.
To nourish the spiritual world of the people, the Four Great Academies emerged. (A/N: Actually, it was at Zeke's strong insistence.)
The Academy of Wisdom, also known as the Create Academy.
This was founded single-handedly by Archmagos Cawl after responding to the Emperor's call and assuming the prestigious role of Fabricator-General of Mars. He implemented drastic reforms, explicitly forbidding the Tech-Priests from hiding their unique techniques in deep vaults. Knowledge, by right, should be shared.
Archmagos Cawl led by example, making the unique technology of Create public. With him as a role model, numerous Magos, whether voluntarily or under pressure from the Emperor, offered up their hoarded knowledge one after another.
To everyone's surprise, when the floodgates of knowledge were opened, Mars' technological level advanced at a jaw-dropping speed. The Create tech, in particular, ushered in an unprecedented boom.
Then came The Academy of Life.
Brewing potions, analyzing Golden Apples, exploring the mysteries of Cow (crossed out), and planting various magical crops.
This knowledge was so miraculous that even spending an entire lifetime would only allow one to glimpse a ten-thousandth of it.
Then The Academy of Courage, also known as the Anvil Academy.
Here, one could learn the art of Enchanting, as well as the exquisite weapon-forging techniques of Tinkers' Construct.
Since the best way to test enchantments and Tinkers' weapons was through real, live combat, every student enrolled was highly proficient in the ways of war.
This place was deeply favored by retired Salamanders, Iron Hands, and Ultramarines.
Especially after Guilliman recovered the Salamanders' Primarch, Vulkan; Vulkan was absolutely obsessed with the Anvil Academy for a very long time.
The Academy of Art, also known as the Architecture Academy was the last and the final one to emerge.
Learn beauty, appreciate beauty, create beauty.
In this academy, one could study all forms of art—painting, music—but the most renowned was architecture.
However, for some unknown reason, the building officially rated as the most beautiful within the academy was actually a perfectly square, completely unadorned dirt matchbox.
–
As the reputation of the Four Great Academies grew day by day, it wasn't just humans; some xenos races also came here to study.
The emotions and beliefs of living beings gradually condensed and sublimated within the Warp, manifesting into four new gods:
The God of Wisdom, the God of Courage, the God of Life, and the God of Art.
Of course, because the Warp had long been under strict control, the birth of these four gods occurred almost entirely without a sound. Those who knew this secret were merely a handful of people.
If someone occasionally received the blessing of these four gods, they would simply consider it a sudden burst of inspiration.
This was the era of mortals; gods had been forbidden from walking the world.
As for Zeke, after witnessing everything return to the right track, he did what all Minecraft players would do: start a new adventure.
Cow cried very miserably.
"It's not like I'm never coming back." Zeke carefully saved the coordinates of the Warhammer world and comforted Cow.
With the Emperor's help, he soared into the sky and left this dimension.
While searching for the way home, he began a new story.
