Chapter 594 - 580: Chaos Begins Again_2

"Alright!" Qin Feiyang nodded without hesitation. Although Dongfang Wuheng and Murong Xiong were somewhat despicable, as the King of Spirit State’s Inner Hall, he didn’t believe they would be so spineless.

At this moment, the expressions of both Dongfang Wuheng and Murong Xiong were extremely grim. However, Dongfang Wuheng eventually smiled and said, "Alright, as you wish. We will obey unconditionally."

"That’s more like it!" Fengg Wuxie chuckled.

Qin Feiyang, however, was dumbfounded.

Simultaneously, Murong Xiong raised an eyebrow and warned in a low voice, "Dongfang Wuheng, are you insane?"

"Mind your words. I have my own plans," Dongfang Wuheng covertly transmitted to Murong Xiong. He then extended his hand to Fengg Wuxie, saying with a smile, "Here’s to a pleasant cooperation."

But Fengg Wuxie merely glanced at the outstretched hand with contempt, clearly having no intention of shaking it.

Dongfang Wuheng awkwardly withdrew his arm and asked Fengg Wuxie, "I wonder, do you have any plans?"

"Yes," Fengg Wuxie said. "You are to find Qin Feiyang now and lure him here."

Dongfang Wuheng frowned. "But we genuinely don’t know where they are. The Image Crystal Stones can’t transmit messages here either. The Death Marsh is enormous; finding them is harder than scaling the heavens."

Fengg Wuxie stated, "Whether you can find him is your problem. Regardless, I’m only giving you three days."

"Alright, we’ll do our best." Dongfang Wuheng nodded, then looked at Murong Xiong. "Let’s go!"

Murong Xiong frowned but followed Dongfang Wuheng, and they quickly disappeared into the jungle.

Dong Zhengyang turned his gaze back and said triumphantly, "Well, Qin Feiyang? What do you think?"

"Sigh!" Qin Feiyang let out a deep sigh and said reluctantly, "Just say it. What’s your demand?"

"I haven’t decided yet. Consider it an outstanding debt for now," Dong Zhengyang said. "Of course, rest assured, I won’t ask you to kill yourself or do anything to harm your friends."

Qin Feiyang smiled faintly. "I have my principles. Even if you were to demand such things, I wouldn’t do them."

Dong Zhengyang also smiled faintly and asked, "So, what’s the plan?"

Qin Feiyang pondered for a moment. "Although Dongfang Wuheng has chosen to continue cooperating with them, I suspect he’s plotting something. Let’s just leave a trail of clues for them to find us."

Dong Zhengyang frowned. "Isn’t that too risky?"

Qin Feiyang smiled. "Don’t worry, I have a way to deal with the people from Void State."

"Alright, let’s do as you say." Dong Zhengyang nodded. Although he didn’t know what method Qin Feiyang would actually use, judging by Qin Feiyang’s consistent personality, if he dared to make such a boast, he must be confident.

Afterward, the two quietly retreated, heading towards the pond.

Soon, they arrived at the forest near the pond. After searching for a while, they found a character carved on a stone:

Qin!

Next to it was an arrow symbol pointing south.

Dong Zhengyang asked, "Could this be the marker Ren Wushuang left?"

"Very likely," Qin Feiyang nodded.

"Then let’s go!" Dong Zhengyang urged.

"Wait." Qin Feiyang took out Blue Snow and carved the characters ’Feiyang’ beneath the ’Qin’, completing his full name.

Seeing this, Dong Zhengyang frowned. "What are you doing?"

Qin Feiyang smiled. "If I don’t do this, how will Dongfang Wuheng and Murong Xiong find us?"

Dong Zhengyang felt a wave of helplessness. It seemed this fellow was determined to fight it out with Dongfang Wuheng and Murong Xiong to the very end.

WHOOSH!

Then, the two of them hurried off in the direction indicated by the arrow. After a while, they found the same mark on the trunk of a large tree. They were now almost certain it had been left by Ren Wushuang.

Less than an hour later, following the marked path, they arrived before a mountain ridge. There was another mark on a nearby stone, pointing towards the summit. After Qin Feiyang carved ’Feiyang’ next to this mark, he and Dong Zhengyang began to climb.

But when they were halfway up the mountainside, they exchanged a look, a trace of alarm and suspicion appearing in their eyes. They could smell a faint scent of blood in the air! It was evident that killings had occurred nearby.

WHOOSH!

The two rapidly ascended the mountain ridge. Standing at a vantage point, they looked down.

Immediately, both their expressions changed drastically.

Below, there was a lake several hundred zhang across, with clear signs of a battle around its shores. On the grassy area to the left of the lake, a group of people was gathered. They were all young men and women, each with a youthful appearance and an exceptionally outstanding aura. The power they emanated was also formidable.

But that wasn’t the crucial part. The main point was that not far from this group, there were twenty-odd other individuals.

They were sitting back-to-back, their clothes tattered and stained with blood, their eyes filled with despair and helplessness!

These were all faces familiar to both Qin Feiyang and Dong Zhengyang. Among them were Ren Wushuang, Lu Xingchen, Shen Mei, Wu Yan, and Xui Yang.

Moreover, numerous corpses lay scattered nearby!

Clearly, Ren Wushuang and the others had run into serious trouble.

"How could this be?" Dong Zhengyang murmured, watching the scene below, his eyes filled with disbelief.

CRACK!

Suddenly, a crisp sound reached his ears. Dong Zhengyang turned his head and was horrified to see Qin Feiyang. His hands were clenched so tightly his knuckles were white, his eyes were bloodshot, and a palpable murderous aura radiated from his entire being!

Dong Zhengyang quickly grabbed Qin Feiyang’s shoulder. "I know seeing Ren Wushuang injured is agonizing for you, but you must calm down right now." They knew nothing about the background or identity of the other party. If they rushed down recklessly, they might not only fail to save everyone but could end up trapped themselves.
