Chapter 33: I’ll take your bet
Chapter 33: I’ll take your bet
The bulletin board was densely filled with small characters, and at the very top were several large characters: "Psychic Association Rules and Regulations."
Alexander came to the bulletin board, looked up, and read it with great interest.
"Nice! Very standardized, indeed a good set of industry management rules!"
Then, Alexander saw the regulation at the very bottom.
[Ordinary people are not allowed inside the Psychic Association]
At the same time, another sedan drove from a distance and stopped not far from Alexander.
A young martial artist got out of the car, dressed in a black suit, with sharp eyes, full of power.
"Grandpa! I’m going in first!"
An elderly man in a long robe got out of the car. The old man smiled and nodded, looking at his most proud grandson with satisfaction.
"Sam, go! Among all our family, you have the most outstanding talent. I believe that with your strength, it will not be difficult to get that spot!"
Sam nodded confidently and said, "Don’t worry, Master! I will not let our family down!"
After saying that, Sam strode towards the Psychic Association.
The old man stroked his beard with satisfaction and sighed, "My grandson has finally regained his confidence of the past!"
He shook his head, turned around, and was about to get into the car.
But the next moment, his gaze inadvertently fell on Alexander who was carefully examining the industry regulations in front of the bulletin board. A look of surprise flashed in his eyes.
"Eh, this man has extraordinary bones!"
In the moment he saw Alexander, he felt the difference between Alexander and others.
His stance was steady, his breath was long, and even though he was only seeing his back, he recognized at a glance that this man was definitely a potential stock.
Moreover, the faintly ethereal aura emanating from him made people feel his extraordinary charm and temperament!
In that moment, he was stunned.
The old man was called Henry. His eyes have always been exceptional. Anyone approved by him is a top talent.
So he took a fancy to Alexander at a glance.
He can’t be wrong!
This man might look like a middle-aged man, but he definitely has top talent and martial arts qualifications!
Henry’s eyes widened, he swallowed a mouthful of saliva, tried to calm himself down, and then casually walked up to Alexander. Looking at the industry regulations on the bulletin board, he chuckled, "Young man, you seem quite interested in the psychic industry."
Alexander was taken aback, turned his head to look at the old man, and said, "Oh, just having a look."
Henry turned his head, was about to speak with a smile, but when he saw Alexander’s face, he was stunned.
Damn!
Why does this man look somewhat familiar, but he can’t remember?
Henry swallowed, forcibly calmed his excited mood, stroked his beard, and asked kindly, "Young man, I see that you have exceptional qualifications and excellent roots. I wonder which association you are a member of?"
Alexander casually said, "I haven’t had time to get certified and registered as a member of the association."
Henry’s eyes lit up and said, "Is that so? You may not know, but the Psychic Association’s registration selection mechanism for members is very strict. Even if you have mastered supernatural powers, you may not necessarily pass their review. I wonder if you would be interested in joining our martial arts school?"
"Here’s my business card. If you’re willing, you can come to me anytime, and I can help you become a formal member of the Psychic Association."
Alexander was taken aback and took the business card handed over.
It read: Master of Blizzard Martial Arts School, Chairman of Blizzard Cultural Media Co., Ltd., etc.
He couldn’t help but take another look at him. So this old man was also a chairman.
Alexander shook his head and said, "I’m not here to apply for membership in the association."
Henry was taken aback and said, "Then what are you here for?"
Alexander pointed to the last rule on the bulletin board with his chin and smiled, "I just want to go in for revenge now. It’s just written above that if you break in without an identity, you will be hunted by all psychic associations in the world.
I only have a grudge with a very few people in the Washington Psychic Association. I don’t want to escalate the situation. Although I’m not afraid of them, I hate trouble."
Henry was taken aback, then couldn’t help but laugh and cry.
Good fellow, so this is a joke?
This is the Psychic Association. Even if the Secretary of Defense came, they would have to get authorization before entering.
It’s hard for ordinary people to get in, let alone talk about going in for revenge, it’s just a joke.
Henry looked at Alexander and chuckled, "Revenge is a serious matter. Besides, without a formal membership, you can’t enter the Psychic Association! Unless, you’re willing to bear the consequences of being wanted by all Psychic Associations in the world."
Alexander frowned and said, "Is it that troublesome? If I have a lot of money, can I solve it?"
Henry chuckled, "Unless you’re the richest person, don’t even think about it. As an ordinary person, just follow the rules. If anyone could cause trouble in the Psychic Association, wouldn’t it be a mess?"
Alexander nodded and pondered, "What you said makes sense."
A sly smile appeared on Henry’s face, "If you really want to take revenge, how about this, you join my martial arts school, and as long as you study for a full year, I’ll help you register as a member of the Psychic Association through my connections. How about it?"
Alexander smiled and said, "I don’t plan to become someone else’s apprentice. If there’s really no other choice, I’d rather be the master of your Blizzard Martial Arts School."
At this statement, Henry couldn’t help laughing, "You really have ambition!"
Alexander looked up at him and said, "Master Henry, why don’t we have a match? If I win, you’ll give me your position as master. If I lose, I’ll join your martial arts school and become your apprentice, how about it?"
Upon hearing this, Henry was stunned.
What the heck!
He didn’t expect Alexander to actually make such a request!
Hahahaha!
Henry was on the verge of bursting into laughter.
How adorable! This middle-aged man is so adorable! Hahaha!
Not only did he audaciously claim he would come to the Psychic Association for revenge all by himself, but he even dared to challenge him, a school master, and even wanted to take over his position.
This was simply too cute!
What I love the most is such overconfident guys!
Henry stretched his arms, smiling as he looked at Alexander, saying, "Okay, I’ll take your bet. If you lose, you have to come to my martial arts school to learn martial arts, and there are no discounts for tuition! You’re not allowed to leave within five years! How about it?"
Alexander chuckled and said, "No problem."
Just as Alexander was about to start, Henry held out his hand and cunningly said, "Wait a minute, I’m afraid you’ll go back on your word, let’s record this! If you back out, I’ll sue you through legal procedures! Dare to?"
Alexander helplessly said, "You’re really verbose."
Henry was overjoyed inside!
If it was other young people, he definitely wouldn’t play such a boring game with them, but who made him take a fancy to Alexander’s talent?
This is so great! Just by making a move, he could get a disciple with very good talent!
Such good things are really rare!
If there were more such adorable guys in the world, the Blizzard Martial Arts School would definitely prosper!
