I Picked the Useless Class… Turns Out It's the Most Broken in the Game

Chapter 92: Where Am I?

Chapter 92: Where Am I?

His hair burning with a vivid emerald flame. An aura radiated from him, carrying a presence strikingly similar to Sylphaine.

Leon’s eyes widened slightly, lips parted as he remained staring at them. ’What the!? Who’s that person, I have never seen nor heard of him.’

"If it were only his presence, I would’ve mistaken him for Sylphaine."

Before he could continue thinking, the man standing next to Draviel lifted his hand up in the air as a bright green wave of mana started to cover his hand.

He directed his hand towards the people who were running in front of them, and the mana of that man shot out through his palm and directly moved towards the group.

The mana was so intense that the atmosphere began to whirl. The surroundings trembled as violent currents of air surged outward. His mana itself moved like a storm, stronger than any natural whirlwind.

The mana started to cover them entirely, not leaving even a single bit of space.

People who got stuck inside of the mana started to scream on top of their lungs, asking for help.

"Help!!!"

"Help us, please!!"

"Save us, we don’t want to die!!"

A bunch of people screamed in agony, using the last ounce of their energy. Expecting someone to at least come and save them from this danger.

’Fuck... I’ve to do something, or else they all will die.’ An unnecessary thought bumped into his head.

’I don’t want to play hero, but they’re literally human beings.’

He tried to take a step forward, but the aura which was excreting through that man was a little too much for him.

His body didn’t listen to him, remained stuck in one spot as he kept trying. Teeth gritted, veins bulged and finally he was able to take one step.

"If that guy is that strong... how much stronger will Draviel be?" His voice came low, almost a whisper.

Leon shook his head a few times, as he started walking towards the circle of mana. But the man noticed him, and a suspicious smirk tugged his lips.

He clenched his fingers tightly, and the mana encircling the people shrank in an instant. The radius collapsed, compressing everything within it as dying screams filled the air. Blood splashed violently against the mana barrier, turning the entire scene into something horrific to behold.

Leon’s body stopped, as he gulped. Eyes remained staring at the front, still feeling dumbfounded. ’What the fuck!?’

Without having another thought, he shouted. "How the fuck can you kill that many people at once?" He said.

Both, Draviel and that man turned their eyes towards Leon. The man still had that suspicious smirk on his lips, and Draviel’s calm demeanor remained intact.

Leon rushed towards the man. The moment he got close, he extended his hand forward, but before he could grab him, his body stopped moving. His teeth gritted as he forced himself to reach forward, but it didn’t work.

The man looked at him and said. "Ah, who’s this little man?" His hand travelled to his chin, as he scratched it slightly.

"Why are you worried about other people? You’re not scared about your own life?"

Leon remained silent, but the agony was clearly visible through his eyes.

The man’s smirk turned into a warm smile, his hand travelled towards Leon’s cheek as he touched it with his fingers. "Human nature... always worrying about others, even when they should fear for themselves."

"But you see... you can’t do anything to me."

He leaned in forward towards Leon’s face as he muttered under his ear. "But, I’ll give you a chance." He took a small pause and then continued. "You want to live, boy?" He asked.

Leon looked into his eyes for a while, and the next instant he took a deep breath and spat all over the man’s face and said. "I’d rather die than getting mercy from a murderer like you." He said.

Draviel remained looking at the scenario unfold from the side, but the moment he saw Leon do this, his eye flinched.

’W-what? What the hell?’

Leon started touching his body abruptly, hands ran towards the cheeks as he started touching the skin, and features of his face were completely different.

He didn’t get enough time to panic. His mind still hadn’t comprehended it completely, but a sudden loud noise fell inside of his ears.

His head shot towards the direction from where the voice just came. There were still people coming from that direction, running to save their life.

But there was something which made the ground beneath his feet dangle. Sweat started to appear on his temple, body started to shake as he muttered under his breath. "D-Draviel!?"

The voice of his carried the feeling of sudden shock, but then he opened his mouth to speak again. "Draviel, it’s me." He raised his hand up in the air, and started waving towards Draviel.

The air was completely filled with the screams of people, the type which sounded scared more than assured. And because of that, Leon’s voice didn’t reach Draviel’s ears.

A sudden thought appeared inside of his mind, which made the reality clear to him. ’Wait... I’m not in my actual body right now, or something else. But right now, Draviel will never recognize me.’

He raised his both hands, clutched his face with the palms as he took a deep breath. "Fuck, what kind of shit even this?"

"I didn’t even get the quest regarding this, what’s this thing even about?"

He started to question himself, in words which were barely audible just to himself. His hands slid down to the ground, grabbed the grass as he looked up in the sky, and then his gaze shifted towards the direction where Draviel was coming from.

His eyes remained focused there for a while, but then he noticed something strange. A person, wearing a green robe adorned with intricate golden engravings.

His hair burning with a vivid emerald flame. An aura radiated from him, carrying a presence strikingly similar to Sylphaine.

Leon’s eyes widened slightly, lips parted as he remained staring at them. ’What the!? Who’s that person, I have never seen nor heard of him.’

’If it were only his presence, I would’ve mistaken him for Sylphaine.’

"My time is not yours to waste. Leave the human and follow me."
