Chapter 75: How Will You Stop The Second One?!
The stage was covered in blue flames as the tornado exploded, hindering everyone’s vision.
Just then, a silhouette flew from the smoke, striking hard against the ground, crying weakly.
"Chirrp.."
"Cinder!!"
Morgana looked in shock as Cinder lay weakly on the ground.
"You think I haven’t worked on such an obvious weakness??" A voice rang out from the opposite side as Theodore came into view, with his partner, Bee flying on top of him, looking visibly worse for wear.
"Such an obvious weakness, like not being able to move, we have already figured out how to break free from it long ago! Don’t underestimate us!!" Theodore shouted sarcastically.
"You are right! I am sorry I wasn’t taking you seriously. But from now on, both of us will fight with full strength." Morgana spoke seriously as she adopted a serious expression.
She didn’t take anyone other than Kael or Raiden seriously, and now she was paying the price for it.
"From now on? I am afraid you won’t have any more chances!! Go, Bee, finish it!! Wind Blades!!"
"Skree!!" Bee shouted as dozens of wind blades started forming around him, before they all launched together simultaneously at Cinder, who was struggling on the ground.
"Get up, Cinder!! Don’t let that guy make fun of you!! You have more than this inside of you!!" Morgana shouted, her voice full of belief in her partner.
"Chirrp~!" A determined expression appeared on Cinder’s face as she used all her energy to fly towards Morgana, while doing her best to dodge the numerous wind blades that were falling from the sky.
But after suffering a wound inside the tornado, she wasn’t as fast as before and ended up getting hit multiple times, as blood splashed on the stage.
But Cinder didn’t give up, as she flew straight towards Morgana, ignoring the growing injuries on her body.
Just before she could reach her, she felt her consciousness slipping and starting falling from the mid air, and by the looks of it, she wasn’t going to make it.
Seeing this, Morgana walked forward resolutely, catching Cinder as she fell, not caring about the windblades that were falling on top of her head.
"You crazy woman, do you want to die!! Bee, stop!!" Theodore shouted from the other side.
But it was already too late as the wind blades were already released, closing on top of Morgana, aiming to take her head off.
Just as the blade was about to touch her head, a soft, almost whisper like sound rang out on the stage.
"Rebirth."
BOOM!!
A pillar of golden and sapphire fire pierced into the cloud, as Morgana and Cinder walked out of the flames in front of the audience once again, looking like the absolute rulers of their dominion.
Looking at the brand new Cinder with no injuries, Theodore wanted to call out and say that she was cheating.
But he wasn’t able to say anything. After all, using their powers of bloodline was allowed in the competition. He himself used his in the beginning to create that massive tornado, but apparently, her powers were more broken.
"As I said, I won’t underestimate you again. We will be coming for you with all we’ve got!!! Go, Cinder, finish this!! Sunset OverDrive!!"
Morgana spoke, panting slightly as she made her way back to her side of the stage. Despite looking fine, using her ability to heal so many injuries took almost everything out of her.
Cinder was almost out of fuel and couldn’t fight a prolonged fight. So she aimed to finish it all in one single move before her opponent realised this.
"Chirrpp~!!"
Cinder’s voice resonated in the air as a big ball of sapphire coloured fire started forming in front of her. Starting small, the ball of fire grew rapidly in size, covering almost half the stage with its size.
Theodore looked at the move with a solemn expression.
After the fight, he didn’t have much stamina either. He knew he could just ask his Roc to dodge this and win, but it didn’t sit right with him. Winning by running wasn’t something he wanted to do.
"Bee!! Our journey might end here!! But we are not going out without a bang!! Let’s show them what we can do!! Use StormWind!!"
"Skree!!" Bee’s body started flying golden as he flapped his wings, generating a small tornado.
"Not enough!! Compress it!!" Theodore’s body started shining in a green hue again, as he started sharing his powers with Bee, bringing him down on his knees.
"Skreee!!!" The Roc’s eyes started shining with determination as he put everything he had into the move, compressing the tornado, more and more!!
He compressed a huge tornado into a small 2-meter ball of air, which started to bend the world around it a little.
Looking at the humongous fire like a sun that was falling on top of their head, the compressed ball of air looked laughably small, but the energy inside it wasn’t any less.
"Go Bee!! Show them!! Attack!!"
"Go, Cinder!!"
CRACK-BOOM!!!
Both elementals collided in mid-air with a bang, blowing the stage apart!!
Theodore and Bee put everything they had into the attack, as the small air burst with a loud explosion, pushing back the sun bit by bit.
’Yes!! We can win this!’ Theodore thought excitedly. Just as he was getting excited at the thought, the voice in the distance pulled him out of his thoughts.
"Very good, you stopped the first one. But how will you stop the second one?" Morgana’s voice sounded out in the distance.
"Second one?!"
"Chirrp!!"
Before Theodore could react, another equally massive sapphire sun appeared in the arena, directly colliding with the first sun!!
In the instant, the situation reversed, as the sun pushed that small wind back repeatedly before it slammed into Bee!!
BOOM!!!
"Bee, no!!" The sapphire fire covered the whole stage, as Bee, the Roc slammed hard against the ground, out of consciousness.
"The winner for this round is Morgana Sol!!"
