I Have a Sailing Game

Chapter 365 - 233: The Beginning of the Branch, Tree of Life

Chapter 365 - 233: The Beginning of the Branch, Tree of Life

Upon seeing this, everyone couldn’t help but laugh.

Indeed, it was a very gentle giant.

As the laughter subsided, Rogel’s gaze fell on the treehouse, where a hunched figure draped in a green robe slowly descended the stairs.

"Welcome to Giant Tree Island, Captain Rogel."

An elderly yet gentle voice reached everyone’s ears.

"Granny Sangla."

Diya gave her a slight bow.

"Roar."

The Spirit-Blessed Tree Bear also let out a soft sound, lowering its huge body and placing its fluffy head in front of her.

"Hello, Granny Sangla."

Rogel nodded slightly to her, and the others behind him greeted her as well.

"Ee ya?"

However, Iya, standing on Rogel’s shoulder, scratched her head in puzzlement, as if sensing something special about Granny Sangla.

"Go play."

Granny Sangla gently patted the head of the Spirit-Blessed Tree Bear.

The Spirit-Blessed Tree Bear happily ran off to the side and lay down to sleep after receiving her approval.

Granny Sangla turned her body towards Rogel.

Her body was tightly wrapped in the green robe, hiding her face.

However, her figure appeared somewhat peculiar, with some kind of protrusion on her shoulders and back.

"Captain Rogel, you must be curious about how I know your name and anticipated your arrival."

Upon hearing her words.

Rogel nodded; indeed, he had many questions.

He naturally used his game skills to check Granny Sangla’s information in front of him.

However, unsurprisingly, he was met with a string of question marks.

"This is not a good place for conversation."

"Please follow me."

Granny Sangla nodded gently at Rogel and the others.

Then, she lightly tapped the ground with her wooden staff.

Swish!

Suddenly, several thick vines broke through the soil, growing rapidly, intertwining and reaching towards the giant tree, quickly forming a long staircase in front of them.

At the end of the steps, the trunk of the giant tree transformed into a green, circular portal, dazzling and radiant.

Granny Sangla slowly took a step forward, while Diya walked beside her to support her.

"Ee ya ee ya."

At this moment, the Little Elf on Rogel’s shoulder suddenly came to Rogel’s ear, gently tugging on his hair, as if trying to say something.

Rogel leaned in to listen carefully.

Iya was telling him that she felt a close affinity to Granny Sangla, yet she didn’t know why.

Granny Sangla, even without turning her head as she ascended the steps, seemed to sense Iya’s words and spoke with a kind smile.

"Gardener Elves have a special sensitivity to the emotions of life, and they instinctively draw near and gather around creatures with pure hearts."

"Captain Rogel, she really likes you."

Upon hearing this, Rogel was at a loss for words.

Pure heart?

He felt he was the last person who would be associated with that term.

Probably Iya was just too sleepy and confused to tell the difference.

"Do you know her?"

Rogel seized the opportunity to ask.

Iya had appeared accidentally on Sea Serpent Island, with no clue about her origins.

After obtaining the Communication Potion, Rogel had also asked Iya about this matter.

However, this confused Little Elf seemed completely at a loss; her memory apparently began from that ship.

There were flowers on that ship, and she was born from a flower, yet like that flower, she did not belong to that ship.

Thus, she had no memories of a homeland, and simply because she didn’t like the people on that ship, she found an opportunity to escape.

Granny Sangla softly responded to Rogel’s question, resolving his perplexity.

"On this vast ocean have risen and fallen countless nations and races; they created glory and were submerged by the sea..."

"The Elf Race naturally created their own kingdom and had their own era."

"A great Elf King established an Elven kingdom called Wengta, spanning several seas, thriving for a long time."

"The elves under their command were skilled fighters, yet kind-hearted and serene, detesting selfishly violent races, yet with a heart of tolerance, living peacefully alongside other kind races."

"This is the foundation of their historical creation."

"To make the Elf Race more magnificent, she used immense power to alter her Extraordinary Bloodline, giving birth to several elven descendants."

"In the history of the Wengta Empire, this was known as the ’Beginning of Branches,’ symbolizing the start of Wengta Empire’s prosperity."

"These elven descendants had respective abilities and duties, giving rise to corresponding tribes responsible for the Wengta Empire’s activities."

"The Gardener Elves were one such tribe, communicating with vegetation and flowers, able to make plants grow rapidly with the power of Lu Ze."

At this point, Granny Sangla paused slightly in her narrative.

"I once had a dear old friend who was also a Gardener Elf."

The Elf Era, the Beginning of Branches!

Granny Sangla casually shared a piece of unknown history, surprising Rogel.

The Little Elf Iya stood seriously on Rogel’s shoulder, seeming to understand Granny Sangla’s words.

"An elven leader capable of altering their own bloodline!"

Mira exclaimed in shock, frantically jotting down notes of what Granny Sangla said.

Since acquiring the Historical Apprentice skills, Mira had a new ambition; while exploring history, she also aimed to document these lost histories.

"Do you know where the Gardener Elves’ homeland is?"
