Chapter 173: POV Kalina -7-

She lifted her head after thinking about a lot of other stuff in a few seconds.

"That’s massive. What’s the price?"

He told her the price in whisper to her ear which made her whole face red for a second. Then she heard the number and Kalina jolted as she sat up fully straight and stared at him. "Hey! That’s more than half of everything you’ve made from the fruit sales. Over 250k"

"I know." He pulled her back down gently and she let him because his chest was warm and the stone floor was cold and she was tired of pretending she didn’t want to be close to him every second of every day so Eren captured her whole body in his warm embrace..

Then he whispered with a small suggestive teasing. "But it’s perfect. The whole area is remote, coastal with a great view, big enough for farming and housing and the most important part is there is no close neighbors but still have a private access road from the coast side..

Kalina smelled his chest and mesmerazed with his natural elf or charismatic smell. Then muttered half absent mindly. "How is the inner stuff. Is there a place now or should I find some constriction company for you..?"

"There is a giant farmhouse. I guess previous owner tried to make millions with artigicial mushroom farms but with the sea effect, they always died at some point. And they had great hopes so made a giant ass empty building like a dormitory for workers, a big garage for tools and tractors, couple of small plank cabinets and the main farm building."

Kalina was impressed that the place included all of it. But then Eren added.

"They are in bad shape. This bankrupsy and mushroom stuff happened 15 years ago and it was empty for the whole time. Everything needs renovation and the utilities are garbage but I’m thinking of getting factory size solar panels and one of the best possible well pumps installed.

The elves don’t need as much electricity as humans as they’ve lived without it before. But they are catching up with tv and phone stuff. Rosa taught all of them the internet and all of the possibilities. So, you can imagine the rest of it."

Kalina smiled. "They are almost addicted by now right.."

He was asking for her opinion for many things in this hour but in the half of it Kalina noticed his eyes and figured that he’d already bought it. She could tell from the way he was talking about it in the past tense without noticing.

"You already signed the papers."

"..maybe."

She pinched his ribs and he laughed and grabbed her wrist and pulled it to his mouth and bit her fingers gently which made her stomach get butterflies.

"The plan is to move everyone there eventually," he continued talking while still holding her hand on his lips. "Emily, all of my family members which all are pregnant now, the elves who want to stay on Earth long-term. It’s far enough from Istanbul that nobody asks questions but close enough to the coast for trade routes if we need them."

"Who’s managing it?"

"Emily, Oldir, Nimbo and Mel on the Earth side. Selena, Lyra, Thadric and Rabbu-i should keep running the Evon village. But they all have potential for to be great fighters so there needs to be a rotation. Not just them. After the elves understand the Earth technology, keeping them in Evon side will be diffucult."

She imagined and pictured the whole structure immediately.

He’d split his leadership team across two worlds with a balance of combat capability, practical skill and social authority on each side. The old Eren who couldn’t organize a small meeting with two different companies and now he had turned into someone who ran parallel operations across dimensions.

Either the Intelligence stat is doing its job or he was always this smart and just needed the right kind of problem to solve.

..

She met the other concubines on day twenty-two.

Not Emily. Never Emily.

I hate Emily withour even seeing her before..

Emily was already at the new farm property near Canakkale overseeing the renovation of the farmhouse and apparently four and a half months into a pregnancy that was only halfway done because elves apparently needed ten months to have a baby instead of nine.

But the four others were at Eren’s family house in Zekeriyakoy. The same house where Eren had first found the door to Evon, the same house where his parents and Grandma Sofie lived before moving to the village life.

Kalina walked in expecting to see what she’d seen in the village. Modest elf women in simple wraps living quiet rural lives.

What she actually found were four of the most stunningly beautiful women she’d ever seen in her life standing around a kitchen that smelled like cinnamon and rosemary and some third thing that was definitely not from this planet.

They were all pregnant..But sexy and smooth pregnancies in their early and alluring phases. And with the way look on their faces, Kalina imagined them to be always in perfect cute pregnancy shapes even in their tenth month of it.

She was a bit jealous for that. They were all so natural, hate free and loving to Eren.

All of them looked to be at different stages of their pregnancies, the earliest barely visible and the latest with a curve that made her simple dress stretch in ways that somehow looked elegant rather than uncomfortable.

Their hair ranged from pale gold to deep forest green, their eyes were shades of blue and green that didn’t exist in human genetics and their skin had that same smooth density she’d noticed on Selena and Lyra, like living marble that light passed through differently.

They looked like runway models for an elven fashion line that God had designed on a very good day.

One of them, a tall golden-haired elf with cheekbones that could cut glass and a belly that was just starting to round, walked up to Kalina and said something in Elvish with a smile so warm it made Kalina want to punch a wall.

"She says welcome to the family," Eren translated from the doorway where he was leaning against the frame with his arms crossed like a man who didn’t understand why the sight of five women in one room should make anyone nervous.

Family. Right. Because that’s what this is. A family with one husband and a collection of supernatural supermodels carrying his children across two planets.

But the thing that bothered her most wasn’t the beauty or the pregnancy or the casual way they all touched Eren’s arm when he walked past them like it was the most natural thing in the world.

It was that she still hadn’t met Emily.

Eren’s actual wife.

The one everyone talked about with a specific kind of reverence. The hunter who fought with a katana and a bow while pregnant. The half-elf who’d grown up as an outcast and somehow became the person this entire operation revolved around.

Every time Kalina asked about her Eren got this look on his face. Not protective exactly but something adjacent to it, like he was keeping the two of them apart on purpose and enjoying the suspense.

What is so special about this woman that even his other wives get quiet when her name comes up?
