Chapter 327 : Heavy Rain

Lin Nan's feelings toward Lilith were complicated.

He'd brought the game console directly to class.

Xiong Da curiously took the game console. Tu Junhui craned his head over and teased without hesitation: "Probably a love token, huh."

"Someone as stingy as her giving you a game console... isn't this really compensation after you got hit?" He saw through to the truth at a glance.

But Chen Yao didn't care at all why the game console was given to him. Even if it really was compensation for getting hit, he wanted to stick his face out to let Lin Nan hit him two more times. That way, he'd have all three major game consoles.

"You're just jealous."

"Not at all!" Tu Junhui viciously took a gulp of cola, only to feel that even the cola tasted sour, so sour his teeth were about to fall out. "Sooner or later, I'll find a girlfriend too, and she'll be prettier than Lin Nan!"

Xiong Da, who was playing with the game console, raised his head and commented expressionlessly: "I'll help you buy one that'll be easy to deflate."

While the three of them teased and mocked each other, Lin Nan had activated her speed-reading magic and was rapidly reading and memorizing this course's textbook.

The teacher on the platform was basically just reciting from the book anyway, so as long as Lin Nan memorized the important points in this book, she wouldn't have to worry about final exams.

"Asleep again?" Chen Yao had wanted to ask Lin Nan what other games to buy, but when he turned his head, he saw she was already fast asleep on her desk.

The cold air had returned these past couple days, and it was drizzling outside the window. Because of her magic, Lin Nan had no concept of temperature, so she was still wearing just short sleeves and cropped pants.

It had to be said that Lin Nan's sleeping face was always very cute no matter when.

Chen Yao turned his face to observe his girlfriend's cheek, even unable to resist reaching out to poke that chubby face.

But after just a few minutes, a sudden gust of cold wind blew into the classroom from outside the window. There were cries of distress everywhere. Students by the windows hurried to close them. Chen Yao also shivered in the cold, goosebumps rising on his arms.

"Junhui, after class, can I go back to the dorm and borrow your jacket?"

He quickly rubbed his arms with his palms.

Tu Junhui raised his head and curled his lip: "Wear Xiong Da's."

"I can't fit in his clothes."

Although Chen Yao and Lin Nan were now living off-campus, their relationship was still as close as before.

They'd only been living outside for a week, and Tu Junhui was already nostalgic for their previous four-person cohabitation shenanigans. "When are you bringing Lin Nan back to stay for a few days? With you two gone, the dorm is really damn boring."

"It's fine for me to come back and stay, but Lin Nan probably can't even get through the front gate." Chen Yao completely didn't believe Tu Junhui's words. "Last week, when I wasn't staying in the dorm, you seemed pretty happy."

"No one to duo queue with me at night. Xiong Da's addicted to Mount & Blade 2, won't play with me."

"That's where Xiong Da's wrong! Bought Mount & Blade 2 but won't share the account to let me play for a few days? I brought out my game console for you guys to play!" Chen Yao seriously criticized Xiong Da.

While they were horsing around, Chen Yao suddenly noticed the sky outside had darkened quite a bit.

The originally overcast sky with drizzling rain, somehow, as if the lights had been turned off, rapidly darkened. The sun hid away, and outside the window, night seemed to fall. The patter of light rain instantly turned into a torrential downpour.

The already restless classroom now became even noisier.

The dense sound of raindrops striking the road and buildings, suddenly amplified by the falling rain, abruptly woke Lin Nan.

She rubbed her sleepy eyes and looked out the window in confusion: "Is it nighttime? Why are we still in class?"

Lin Nan yawned continuously, looking at the sky outside the window. Suddenly, she saw a flash of lightning streak through the clouds, and the whole world brightened for a moment because of that lightning.

She suddenly had a bad feeling.

Sure enough, the next moment, thunder suddenly exploded by her ear, immediately followed by female students' screams throughout the teaching building.

Lin Nan, who had just woken up, was completely startled. She blankly shifted her gaze from outside the window to Chen Yao.

"What's wrong?" Seeing her face wasn't right, Chen Yao hurriedly pulled her into his arms and softly comforted her: "I've never seen you scared before. It's okay."

After a moment, Lin Nan came back to her senses and said with a long face: "Just woke up... scared me."

Tu Junhui beside them continued silently eating lemons, then suddenly cried out "wah" and tried to lean his fat body toward Xiong Da: "Xiong Da, I'm so scared~"

Xiong Da was completely done with this, his face full of disgust as he used his hand to push away that face.
