Chapter 308 : Transfer Student

Thursday afternoon was a lecture class.

It was about career planning after graduation, so students from the entire department came. A huge classroom was filled with hundreds of students, packed densely together and very noisy.

The small classrooms used for regular classes could at most hold a hundred people. This class was in the school's best and largest classroom, specifically used for lectures, award ceremonies, and corporate recruitment.

Lin Nan had no career plans, or rather, she had no idea what she could do in the future.

Although she could pass all the school exams, and had even used magic to firmly memorize all of last semester's knowledge in her brain, this didn't seem to have much use for work.

Looking around, students were densely packed sitting in the lecture hall. Class hadn't started yet, and students were walking back and forth or talking loudly. The entire classroom was like a farmer's market.

Zheng Qian stood by the podium, talking amiably with Lin Kexin, whom he'd met yesterday. Seeing Lin Nan's figure, he quickly waved his hand.

Lin Nan hurried to Zheng Qian's side and looked up at him.

"Here, your materials are all here. Returning them to you." Zheng Qian handed Lin Nan a document folder from the podium. "Everyone in the class knows about your situation. I won't mention it at the class meeting, okay?"

"Mm."

"Really bad luck." Zheng Qian shrugged. It was unclear whether he was talking about Lin Nan becoming female or about himself being turned into a mosquito coil by Lin Nan.

Lin Kexin stood smiling beside them, watching the two converse.

"Kexin, you're the vice class monitor. You need to take good care of Lin Nan." Zheng Qian turned to look at her.

"I know!" She nodded vigorously.

"Oh right, I heard the class next door got a new transfer student today. Pretty good-looking." Zheng Qian suddenly remembered and casually mentioned it to them.

Lin Kexin froze. This was already the second semester of sophomore year. Students could still transfer in?

"Her name is Li Lisi. I saw her photo, very pretty. I estimate she'll probably be in the top three of this year's campus beauty contest on the forum. She looks quite similar to Lin Nan." Zheng Qian asked with a smile, "She's not your sister, is she?"

Lin Kexin commented, "That's such a weird name."

But Lin Nan suddenly realized that Lina had probably used magic to fool the school administration and stuffed Lilith into school too. Fortunately, it was the class next door. If she'd been stuffed into her own class, there would probably be a bloodbath of scheming and intrigue next.

But this homophonic name was indeed quite strange. Lina's real name being Li Na was still acceptable, but changing Lilith to Li Lisi just sounded awkward no matter how you heard it.

She shook her head helplessly. "I know her, but we're not relatives."

"Is that so? Class is about to start, go back." Zheng Qian waved his hand, letting the two students leave.

In the huge classroom, Lin Nan searched for a while before finding Chen Yao. She sat down beside him and craned her neck to look at the students in the same row.

A row could seat over ten people. Lin Nan's dorm and the neighboring dorm sat neatly here. The students farther away from Lin Nan weren't people he was familiar with, but looked familiar. Occasionally, there were a few whose names she could call out, classmates from their class.

"What did Zheng Qian call you for?" Chen Yao asked somewhat nervously.

Last semester, Chen Yao had already noticed Zheng Qian had ulterior motives toward Lin Nan. Although he'd just been looking for a seat, he'd also been constantly watching Zheng Qian by the podium. If there was any suspicion of inappropriate contact, he could rush up in two steps at any time.

"Just gave me my materials." Lin Nan handed him the document folder. "Also said the class next door got a transfer student. The one we saw last night."

"Which one?"

"The flat-chested one with long legs."

Chen Yao's mind immediately conjured up those long white legs that were even more slender than Lin Nan's.

That girl's body proportions were actually similar to Lin Nan's, but being taller naturally made her legs look longer.

Just as he was reminiscing about those long white legs, he suddenly felt a sharp pain at his waist. He whipped around to see Lin Nan looking at him with a smiling face.

"Hiss. I remember now, too flat." Chen Yao immediately began criticizing Lilith. "Looks a few years older than you but has a chest flatter than a man's! Simply a disgrace to women!"

"Hmph!"

Lin Nan temporarily spared Chen Yao.

Having once been a man, she naturally knew what would probably go through a normal male's head, especially when mentioning women.

But normal men shouldn't have much interest in that kind of flat figure, unless they were lolicons, but that was illegal.

The classroom gradually quieted down. The teacher responsible for the career planning lecture walked up to the platform, bent slightly, and spoke into the microphone on the desk.

Chen Yao turned to look at Lin Nan strangely. During this time living with Lin Nan day and night, he'd heard the name Lilith several times. He wondered if Lin Nan was obsessed with some novel or something.

Right behind Lin Nan, Lilith, dressed in ordinary student clothes, had a gloomy expression and a malicious smile on her face. She grabbed the textbook beside her and stood up planning to throw it at Lin Nan in front of her, but was quickly stopped by Lina.

"Be proper! We have to follow the rules of this world!" She pulled Lilith back down.

Lilith complained indignantly, pointing at the back of Lin Nan's head. "What does it have to do with me! She's cursing at me again!"

"Besides! Since when do witches have to follow rules!"

"Otherwise today..." Lina pulled out a huge ham sausage from her pocket and grinned.

Lilith immediately became obedient, just puffing out her cheeks with a still unconvinced expression.

Lin Nan had this gesture too. She'd been infected by it.

Once this old lady recovers her magic power and returns to her hometown, I'll capture you and lock you in a room with a dozen men!

"At noon, I'll take you to the dorm. You'll live next to me. You have to get along well with your roommates." Lina tapped Lilith's head with the ham sausage. "Can't fight with them, and can't tell them you know magic."

"I don't know magic either." Her eyes rolled, and she suddenly asked with an ingratiating smile, "How about you lend me a little?"
