Chapter 274 : Relatives Arrive

Lin Nan's eldest uncle was already nearly fifty years old.

He was Wu Jiaming's cousin's father. Years ago, he and Eldest Aunt had illegally emigrated abroad together. About ten years ago, they had another cousin abroad, thus obtaining a green card and status.

Eldest Uncle only returned around New Year each year. When he returned this year, without exception, he was quarantined for fourteen days, only being released today.

Mother had already gone downstairs to chat with them, but Lin Nan still stood somewhat timidly at the corner of the first-floor stairway, peeking toward the hall from the stairs.

There were quite a few people in the living room at the moment: Wu Jiaming's family of four, Eldest Aunt, Grandfather and Grandmother, plus Mother and her cousin.

Eldest Uncle looked her over but didn't show any expression of rejection, only expressionlessly handing out a red envelope: "Here, your New Year's money."

Lin Nan's gaze at Eldest Uncle immediately became much warmer.

"Aunt..." Lin Nan suddenly thought of Liu Xuefei. If she really became her little uncle's wife, Lin Nan really couldn't bring herself to call her that.

After all, she wasn't much older than herself.

Lin Nan sighed gloomily. Glancing at Mother's side, she saw they had already taken out mahjong and started playing.

Looking at that little cousin again, she couldn't remember her name at all, only thinking she was chubby and quite cute.

The sudden arrival of so many unfamiliar relatives put Lin Nan under great stress.
