Chapter 241 : The Strange Lin Nan

The girl frantically tried to dodge the boy's bent legs, but with one turn, she bumped her forehead directly against the bed frame.

Her head hurt and she was dazed for a moment, then that arm directly wrapped around her slender waist.

She panicked in that instant, her body freezing, her movements halting as she stared wide-eyed in disbelief.

Her skin uncontrollably took on a layer of crimson, the intense masculine scent and sense of shame bombarded her brain, leaving her mind blank and unable to think.

She faced away from Chen Yao, whose body was almost pressed tightly against her back. She could vaguely feel the heat pressing against her buttocks.

She stayed frozen for a long time. She originally thought Chen Yao had already woken up and was deliberately teasing her, but after a long while she hadn't felt any additional movements from Chen Yao, his arm just laying heavily on her waist.

Just changing positions in his sleep?

Lin Nan didn't dare turn her head to look at Chen Yao's condition, afraid that the slightest movement would wake him. She could only close her eyes and use magic again and again to calm her emotions.

It was quite effective. But every few minutes after calming down, her body would once again produce strange reactions stimulated by the heavy male hormones.

She didn't know if other girls were as sensitive as her, but having only recently become female, she really detested those strange physiological reactions.

After waiting for a long while longer, using the magic multiple times left Lin Nan's spirit increasingly exhausted, starting to produce a headache. Only then was she certain Chen Yao should be in a deep sleep state.

She reluctantly breathed a sigh of relief and carefully pushed Chen Yao's arm off her waist.

Then her body had room to move. She let out a light sigh, turned her head, and pushed Chen Yao into a flat lying position.

This was much easier now.

Lin Nan's rapidly jumping heart finally tended toward stability. But the magic unlock condition required sleeping through the night...

She lay flat there, also trying to make herself fall asleep, but the hot breathing beside her simply wouldn't let her brain calm down. Images from the adult anime she'd accidentally seen on Chen Yao's computer earlier began appearing in her mind, and she uncontrollably replaced the female protagonist with her own figure.

Then her mind began recalling scenes from Lilith's nightly festivities...

After thinking wildly about all sorts of things, she felt her body react again. But she'd already overused the magic and was experiencing headaches. She no longer had the spare capacity to continue using magic to calm her body down.

Early morning.

Chen Yao dreamed he was entangled by a huge, hideously ugly Cthulhu-tentacle monster, being dragged in terror into pitch-black seawater. When the seawater penetrated through his mouth and nose and the oxygen in his lungs grew increasingly scarce, approaching suffocation, he suddenly jolted awake.

Just after waking, he noticed something was wrong. It seemed like he really was being entangled.

He slightly lowered his head, looking at the arm across his chest, feeling the thigh pressing against his arm, and the heavy head on his shoulder.

The girl restlessly squirmed her body. He could vaguely hear heavy breathing beside his ear.

"...??"

Chen Yao turned his head to look at his side and discovered Lin Nan's delicate face was right before him, those slightly parted red lips exhaling like orchids.

Still sleeping?

The girl's brows were tightly furrowed, the skin exposed from her pajamas all tinged with a slight blush and heat. She seemed to be having some kind of dream, her facial expression particularly distressed, but after a moment her brows relaxed and her expression immediately became joyful.

Chen Yao couldn't figure out the situation. He only vaguely remembered that before sleeping last night, Lin Nan seemed to have lain down beside him.

She probably had nightmares again last night, right? So she came looking for a sense of security.

But this is a bit too much!

He tried to move but found he couldn't get up without waking Lin Nan.

"Chen Yao, time to get up for breakfast."

There came a light knocking at the bedroom door. The door opened a crack and his mother poked her head in to look inside. "Don't wake Nan Nan up..."

"Sorry to interrupt."

"Mom!" Chen Yao hurriedly called to his mother who was preparing to close the door and leave.

She poked her head back in again. "What? Want to eat some kidneys to tonify yours today? Did you use protection last night?..."

"It's not what you're thinking..." Chen Yao sighed lightly. "I'm afraid of waking her up. Come help me out."

If Lin Nan woke up in this situation, the two of them would probably be awkward all day.

Chen Yao's mother helplessly walked into the room, briefly observed the situation inside, then looked at the two people with their clothes neat and tidy, and discovered that even though Lin Nan was being this proactive, her own son remained unmoved.

If it weren't for the epidemic period right now, she would definitely drag her son to the hospital to get checked.

Or maybe her son liked men?

She carefully turned Lin Nan over. Chen Yao, who had been pressed underneath, was finally freed and sat up to stretch his body.

Chen Yao casually pulled the blanket over Lin Nan. A moment later, he saw Lin Nan groggily hug the blanket, lying on her side, clamping the blanket between her thighs, then gently grinding against it.

Am I thinking something inappropriate?

He scratched his head, feeling that if he stayed in the room any longer he'd really execute Lin Nan on the spot. He hurriedly got up and urgently left the bedroom.

After an estimated half hour, just as Lin Nan's dream was reaching its final step, she suddenly woke up.

She opened her eyes and looked confusedly at her side, but didn't see Chen Yao's figure.

Her heart felt empty for some unknown reason. Possibly because she'd never had that kind of experience before, so in the dream there was only a little progress... she actually felt a bit regretful.
