Chapter 230 : Smash the Scooter

The food at Chen Yao's house was very much to Lin Nan's taste.

"Auntie, where did Uncle go?"

After eating, Lin Nan realized one person was missing from the table.

"He's eating downstairs at the neighbor's house. He won't get to enjoy this blessing." Auntie seemed to have quite a high education level. When she spoke it was always gentle and agreeable. Although she ran a restaurant, she carried an air of intellectuality.

Lin Nan put on a polite smile and explained, "I don't usually wear dresses..."

"You prefer this kind of business suit?"

"What time are you leaving?"

Chen Yao glanced at the time in the lower right corner of the computer. "It's already two o'clock."

While playing games Lin Nan completely didn't notice the time. She froze for a moment, then took out her phone to call Wu Guodong and ask what the situation was.

"I got back at one. Didn't you go to pay a New Year's visit? When you didn't call me, I thought you were busy."

Lin Nan was dumbfounded. Isn't a New Year's visit just bringing some things and eating a meal? What could be busy about that?

She hung up the phone, sighed deeply and prepared to go back by herself. "I'll just take the bus back."
