Suddenly, a sharp brake ensued, Luo Xudong quickly controlled the steering wheel with one hand while using his other arm to block Beisitian, preventing her from hitting the windshield as her body lunged forward.

Luo Xudong steadied the car, his anger surging, the cold aura enveloping him. If his driving skills weren’t sharp, the person who suddenly dashed out wouldn’t just be hit, but Beisitian would be injured as well!

The figure that dashed out had disheveled hair, was in ragged clothes, and was sitting dazedly in front of the car, staring blankly ahead, eyes unfocused, either scared or shocked.
