Chapter 783: The Morning of the Sapphire Awards
The soft morning light bathed the private dining floor of the luxurious five-star hotel in Catadrid where Theo, Aurora, and Ayia were staying. The serene atmosphere of the room was a welcome contrast to the electrifying energy of the concert the night before. As Theo and Aurora sat at the elegantly set table, the smells of freshly prepared food filled the air-a blend of spices, fresh bread, and savory dishes unique to Catadrid's rich culinary tradition.
Theo wasn't wearing his Moonlight mask. There was no need for it here, in the privacy of the reserved floor, where only the three of them would be eating. Aurora sat next to him, her long silver hair cascading down her back, her face relaxed and free of the stress that came with her alter ego, Tsukuyomi. Across from them, Ayia was already pouring a fresh cup of coffee, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she looked forward to the day ahead.
The breakfast spread in front of them was a feast for the senses: Tortilla de Patatas, a traditional omelet made with eggs and potatoes; Pan con Tomate, freshly toasted bread rubbed with ripe tomatoes and drizzled with olive oil; Churros served with rich, thick hot chocolate for dipping; and various cured meats, cheeses, and fresh fruits. Theo, having worked up quite the appetite after the exhausting concert, eagerly grabbed a piece of bread to start his meal.
"Everything smells amazing," Aurora said as she picked up a small plate of churros, the smell of fried dough and sugar making her smile. "I didn't realize how hungry I was until just now."
Theo chuckled, biting into the Tortilla de Patatas with a satisfied hum. "Same here. I'm glad we booked this floor-we can just relax and enjoy ourselves without worrying about anything."
Ayia took a sip of her coffee, nodding in agreement. "You both deserve a break after last night's performance. But we do have a lot to get through today, so we'll need to pace ourselves."
Theo glanced over at her, raising an eyebrow. "What's on the agenda?"Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Ayia smiled, setting down her coffee cup. "Well, as you both know, tonight is the Sapphire Awards ceremony. We've already confirmed that Moonlight and Tsukuyomi will be attending, but we have a full day of preparation ahead before we get there."
Aurora, picking at some cheese on her plate, looked up curiously. "What's the schedule like? I thought we'd have some time to relax after breakfast."
Ayia leaned back in her chair, her eyes gleaming with excitement as she explained. "After breakfast, the stylist team will be arriving with a selection of outfits for you both to try on. They'll bring several options, and you'll get to choose what you want to wear for the ceremony. Once you've picked your outfits, the team will do some last-minute adjustments to make sure everything fits perfectly."
Theo nodded thoughtfully, taking a sip of fresh orange juice. "So, we'll spend the morning with the stylists?"
"Yeah," Aurora said, "Kings and Queens. I heard that to be even be nominated in this category, the artist has to have three diamond albums. It's a lifetime achievement to win in this category. But you're just starting, Theo, I'm sure that in a few years you'll be running to win this award."
"True," Ayia said, "but I've been following the buzz online. People are rooting for you. And the industry is definitely paying attention after last night's concert."
Aurora nodded, her eyes bright with excitement. "I've seen some of the articles. They're all talking about how you're the one to watch this year."
Theo shook his head with a soft chuckle. "It's still hard for me to wrap my head around all of
it."
Ayia leaned forward, her expression turning serious but affectionate. "You've earned this, Theo. You've worked hard, and tonight is just another step in the journey. Whatever happens, you've already made a huge impact."
He appreciated her words more than he could express. Theo had always been someone who worked quietly, pouring his heart and soul into everything he did without seeking recognition. But now, as Moonlight, he had found himself in the spotlight, and it was moments like this-with Ayia and Aurora beside him-that kept him grounded.
As they finished the last bites of their breakfast, the mood remained light but filled with a quiet sense of anticipation. The day ahead was full of preparations, fittings, and interviews, but they all knew the main event was still to come. Tonight's Sapphire Awards would be a major milestone, and though none of them could predict what would happen, they were ready for whatever came next.
Theo took one last sip of his coffee and stood up from the table, stretching his arms with a smile. "Alright," he said, his voice relaxed but determined. "Let's get ready for the day."
Aurora and Ayia exchanged a glance and smiled, following his lead as they stood and prepared to leave the dining area.
The concert had been an unforgettable triumph, but now, they had a new chapter ahead of them—one filled with the glitz and glamour of the Sapphire Awards and, perhaps, even more
surprises.
