I am Succubus!

Chapter 307

Chapter 307

Yumi and Hana came by to my apartment again over the weekend, and I told them all about the mana regenerating necklace disintegrating in my hands. Neither of them had any idea that would happen. At the same time, they weren't at all surprised that it did when I got everyone to help me charge it. In my desperation… all I did was screw myself over even more.

"I'm terribly sorry, Saeko. If we hadn't neglected to tell you it was an older enchanted item, this might not have happened." Yumi frowned.

"No, you guys aren't at fault. I am. We're back to square one on dealing with my mana leaking. Any ideas?" I asked.

"Oh, oh! What if we put a shock collar on you. If you're ever feeling horny, it shocks you! Conditions you not to get horny ever again!" Hana had the audacity to suggest.

The two of us stared at her in exasperation.

"Rejected. Next!" I exclaimed.

Hana's smile flipped upside down, and she slowly put away something in her hands which I assumed was an actual shock collar. As we were brainstorming things, a portal carved open in space. Elendir and Shayle stepped out, pushing a wheelbarrow into the living room.

"Visitors? Hello, Yumi. Hello, Hana. It's good to see you two again." Elendir smiled.

"Oh, thank god. Has it been a few days already? Tell me you concocted something to help me with!" I turned expectantly to them.

"Unfortunately…" Shayle shook her head.

The dark elven monarch continued, "Your condition isn't exactly something that can be cured. As it isn't fatal or even really dangerous, people tend to let the ailment run its course. Regrettably, we've also been unable to develop a panacea for it. I'm sorry, love. I have, however, brought a trove of mana potions for you to imbibe. As well, I brought an alchemy set to continue concocting potions for you."

Elendir produced a single mana potion from her person. The glass vial was as thin as my pinky finger, and it contained swirling blue liquid. I knew for a fact she would never poison me, but just looking at it made my human brain think it was some kind of chemical.

Without sparing another thought, I downed the mana potion in a single gulp. My body shuddered at the extremely bitter taste but gritted through it. Right away, the hunger subsided. The urge to feed on someone disappeared.

I pressed a hand to my chest and sighed, feeling in control of myself again.

"Thanks, Elendir. Shayle, too, for accompanying her to Elza even though we were recently there. Also… You mentioned bringing an alchemy set?" I asked nervously.

"Why, yes. Since everyone is here, please help me set it up in my room. Cauldrons are quite heavy." Elendir gestured to the wheelbarrow.

We only needed to move the vanity desk to make space in the room. Elendir didn't have a lot of belongings and furniture to begin with. The heavy iron cauldron took a couple of us to lift, even with my succubus strength. We placed it down next to the window, so the fumes could vent out when she was concocting. A combustion chamber underneath provided heat but required wood to feed the flames.

A cauldron wasn't all. Hana accidentally let slip a single glass beaker, which shattered on the ground. Elendir didn't trust us anymore after that and carried the delicate stuff in on her own. Half of the room turned into an alchemy lab, and the other half was just a bed.

"Why is there a wheelbarrow in the living room?" Kana's voice rang out from the living room, having just come home. He poked his head into Elendir's room where we were all hanging around. "Oh, it's a party in here… what is that?"

"Just got doing getting Elendir's alchemy stuff in. She's going to be making some potions. Any requests?" I asked.

"Of course, as long as they are within my capability to concoct," Elendir added.

"Hmm… Whenever Mio and Saeko want sex, they keep me up all night long. Something to give me a second wind would be nice. Also, is there such a potion that keeps me focused? I've been having trouble paying attention in class lately. Probably a lack of sleep." He shot me a glare in particular.

"S-Sorry! We're trying to fix exactly that!" I rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment.

"They are certainly something I can make, Kana. At any rate, I'll continue to experiment with a formula that may cure the ailment. Saeko, keep taking mana potions in the meantime," the dark elf insisted.

With that out of the way, Yumi and Hana promised to also search for a way to help and headed home. Mio had gone to Asakura to visit the animals and wasn't going to be back until late. Kana decided to give Elendir a hand by being her assistant in alchemy. Even though it was an early Saturday morning, I took a trip to Tsuki to get some work done and check on the succubi. Erma accompanied me, as she usually does.

The place was closed on the weekends, but we still took clients asking for outcalls. In other words, sexy time at the comfort of their own homes. That meant I also had paperwork.

"My queen?" Miriam poked her head into my office. "A lady has come in with a strange request, and I thought to bring it up to you first. If you are busy, I will gladly handle this myself."

"Bring her up to me then," I looked up from the computer and said.

Miriam disappeared and returned a moment later with a pretty lady in her early 20s. Long, jet black hair, square glasses, and dressed warmly in a dark brown peacoat. I gestured to the woman to take a seat across the desk from me, and she anxiously tiptoed over. Unburdened, Miriam bowed and went back to work.

"Miriam said you have a strange request. How strange? And you're aware of what we do here in Tsuki, right?" I asked.

"Y-Yes, I do! My name is Moemi! I'm not really here to… do what you offer here, but when I learned succubi started living on Earth, I just had to ask for your help. There's a guy I'm interested in, and I'd like for you to charm me into confessing to him!" Moemi exclaimed.

"First of all, I can't charm him— Wait, you? Just confess to him yourself! It's going to be a lot more genuine that way. Imagine how he's going to feel finding out a succubus compelled you to confess…"

"I know, but…" She wrung her hands together. "I really, really, really like him and don't want to mess it up! I'm a nervous wreck normally, and just working up the courage to come here shaved a few years off my life. Ahhh, I just want to jump past this part to get straight to the relationship!"

This lady was going about everything the wrong way… She should have worked up the courage to go through with a confession, not to come here. But I did see the sincerity and desperation in her eyes. The whole point of Tsuki was Japan's idea of fixing the declining birth rate, and with Moemi, I'd essentially be a matchmaker of sorts.

"Fine, I'll do it." I sighed.

"Really?" Moemi brightened up.

"But you have to understand that it isn't as simple as just charming you. There's a logic threshold to it. As in, if you can't see yourself confessing to someone, you're just going to break the charm's hold," I explained.

"Oh… so there's a chance of f-failure…" She gulped hard.

"Do you still want to go through with me charming you?"

Moemi fell silent and thought for a moment. Moments turned to seconds. Seconds turned to minutes. I checked my computer for the time, wondering just how long this awkward standstill was going to last. Even Erma shot me a look from the side.

Eventually, the woman met me dead in the eyes and nodded. There was shakey resolve in the way she regarded me.

"Yes, I still do! Please, charm me to confess to the man I like!" Moemi implored.

"That's a good first step at least. Okay, we'll go through with it. I'll only bill you for the half hour we spent talking. Are you ready? You'll feel a bit tingly at first, kind of like humid air wrapping around your body," I explained.

Moemi nodded again, more nervously this time around.

Without making her wait any longer, I seized control of my client. The succubus aura that I controlled enveloped her, and Moemi tensed up. There were levels and layers to charm magic. Sometimes, a succubus controlled only the body. Other times, only the mind. Most of the time, however, both.

For Moemi, I took control of her mind and gave a simple order, "Confess to your crush the next time you two hang out in person."

"Okay, I'll do it! Thank you, Miss Saeko!" Moemi bowed repeatedly.

I called in someone who was free to see Moemi out. Once she had left, Erma scooted closer to my side and frowned.

"Did… Did I do something wrong?" I asked.

"Far be it from me to question yours, or a succubus' morality, but won't this be disingenuous for the man in question? I feel he ought to know it was compelled from her," Erma explained.

"Listen, I'm with you on that front. At the end of the day, that's their relationship and problem. But Moemi made a decision to have me take away her agency, in the same way you forfeit yours to be my sex slave. We're both on the same page about it, so that enough should be fine."

"Hmm. I suppose that does make sense. In that case, I sincerely hope things go well for her," she said.

I had hoped so, too.

The very next day in the early afternoon, I was helping to clean up a room when Moemi came to visit again. Apparently, Miriam became friends with her. She brought the woman to my office, and… Moemi stumbled into the office in tears.

"Oh, god… What happened?" I asked.

"We had a date this morning… and when it came time to confess… I just froze up! Wasn't I supposed to do what you charmed me to do?" Moemi cried.

"I literally told you why that might happen! The terror and anxiety of confessing overwhelmed your will to confess, breaking the charm. There's nothing more that I can do—"

"Please, charm me again! I'll do it this time, I swear!" she pleaded desperately.

Sighing, I relented to Moemi only to get her out of my hair. We went through the same motions of me charming her a second time. She thanked me and hurried off with a spring in her step, seemingly convinced that it was going to succeed this time.

"Back to cleaning, Mistress?" Erma regarded me as I stood up.

"No, we're going to follow her. I want to see exactly how much of a nervous wreck she is. We might be able to help from the shadows. I can only cast invisibility magic on myself though," I explained.

"Oh, not to worry. I'm versed in some magic. Invisibility is one such spell I can do," Erma said.

The two of us draped ourselves in a cloak of invisibility and followed after Moemi. Stalking her probably broke a couple of laws, but we were doing it for the greater good of my country. Our first step was right outside of Tsuki. Moemi took a deep breath and whipped out her phone to make a call.

"H-Hello? Hiro, it's me. M-Moemi… Hehe, I had a great time earlier, too! B-But that's not what I'm calling you for. I was wondering if… Huh? You want to meet again? P-Perfect! I was about to ask if we could see each other again, too… T-Tonight works great! I'll see you then!" Moemi exclaimed, sounding like an utter mess.

Watching her was giving me anxiety. Although in retrospect, I was kind of like that when I first developed feelings for Mio and Kana. By a stroke of luck though, Moemi was going to meet her crush, Hiro, in Shinjuku at a bar to grab some drinks. So fortunately for us, we were already here.

Night fell as we tailed Moemi through the nightlife city. Neon lights flashed from advertisements and signboards in every direction. Winter was right around the corner, and it had gotten really cold suddenly. Erma clutched herself and shuddered. A frosty breath escaped her lips after every exhale. Wincing, she pressed a hand to her eyes.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Forgive me, Mistress. I'm feeling a little nauseous. It should pass soon," Erma replied.

We might end up losing Moemi, but I didn't want to leave Erma like this. I had her wait and lean against the wall, then flew up into the sky to search for a clothing shop. There was a small boutique about to close shop. I landed in front of a male employee pulling down the latticed metal barrier and unveiled myself.

"Can I buy something before you close?" I revealed myself from magical invisibility.

"AHH! Oh, shit… A succubus…" The middle-aged man pressed a hand to his beating chest. "I'm sorry, Miss. I'm about to go home. Maybe you can come back tomorrow instead?"

"I just need to buy a winter jacket and a pair of shades. How about I let you fuck me raw in exchange?" I offered.

The man gulped hard and accepted. He opened the store again to invite me inside, where I picked out a puffy black jacket and glasses that dimmed bright lights. In return, I dropped my pants for him to fuck me. His hips bucked desperately until a warm sensation filled my pussy. I even got a discount off the items.

When I returned to where I told Erma to stay, she wasn't there. At least for a moment. She wandered back down the crowded sidewalk and waved to me.

"I apologize for leaving my post. While you were away, I wanted to make sure we didn't lose track of Meomi. She entered a place called Ebi-ya that's only down the street. Shall we?" Erma asked.

"Thanks for keeping track of her even though you didn't have to. I went to buy you these. I noticed you were cold, and a maid costume isn't going to keep you warm. The shades should also block out a lot of the bright lights," I explained, helping her to put them on.

"Oh, Mistress… So, that's why you went off all of a sudden. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I'll cherish these gifts." She smiled and already started looking better.

We entered an alley to go invisible again out of sight. Thanks to Erma taking the initiative, the two of us found Ebi-ya at the corner of the block. It was a popular dive bar known for their delicious fried shrimp, hence the name ebi.

The place was a brightly-lit but cramped bar. A small indie band played rock music at the back of the room. The scent of tempura and butter permeated the air as metric tons of shrimp were fried in vats of oil.

Moemi and Hiro were at a booth table chatting and having a great time. By appearance, the two couldn't look any more different. Hiro looked like a typical playboy. He had short black hair, a piercing on his right ear, and was dressed in a punk outfit. But Moemi had the look of a salarywoman about her. Both of them looked like they were genuinely enjoying each other's company. They hadn't even touched their drinks or fried shrimp. The nervous wreck of a girl looked completely extroverted with him. Nothing indicated that she couldn't confess to him.

We drew closer to listen in on them.

"So, uhm… Actually, Hiro… I have something I want to say… I…" As if a flip had been switched, Moemi returned to being a nervous wreck.

Watching them hurt my soul. I even tried to help by wrapping my aura around Moemi, but the resistance was unlike anything I ever felt before. She shattered my control.

"What is it?" Hiro asked.

"I-I-I need to use the restroom!" Moemi rushed out of her seat.

Erma and I slapped a hand to our faces. If magic didn't work, there was only one thing left to do. We followed Moemi into the restroom. She was in front of the mirror, trying to psych herself up.

"You can do this… I got this… I just need to… Guh… I can't! I'm scared of him saying no!" Moemi cried.

"Moemi!" I exclaimed, dropping the invisibility.

"AHHHH!" She ran into the nearest stall, then poked her head out. "M-M-Miss Saeko?! What are you doing here?"

"To make sure you follow through with your confession. Do you like the guy or not?"

"Y-Yes…"

"Then go out there and tell him how you feel. One day, someone else might snatch him up. What then? You're left fantasizing alone in your bed about what-ifs!"

"Allow me." Erma stepped forward to extend a hand to her. "Change is often terrifying. We fear the unknown. Sometimes, we need to put one foot forward in order to pull the drapes open for a better tomorrow. The boy, Hiro, could very well be feeling the same way. Take myself for example. Before, I was a killing machine. I've slain countless succubi. Little did I know, what I really wanted was to be dominated by one. Thanks to her, I've come to a whole new world of pleasure. Saeko, my mistress—"

"ERMA, THIS ISN'T THE TIME!" I blushed.

"I could have done without knowing that, but… you're right. I have to tell him. I owe it to my feelings!" Moemi pumped herself up, and we stepped aside to let her out of the restroom.

When we followed Moemi out, the woman was standing in front of Hiro. Her face was red. Sweat dripped from her brows. She trembled like crazy, too.

"M-Moemi? Did something happen?" Hiro asked.

"Hiro! I… I've liked you for a long time now! Will you… Will you go out with me?" Moemi exclaimed, bowing.

The band stopped performing. The chatter stopped. Everyone in Ebi-ya stared at the pair.

"Yes!" Hiro answered.

"Really?!" Moemi teared up.

"I've felt the same way. I just thought I never had a chance with someone like you… We're so different. I want to go out with you, if you will have me, too." He smiled.

The entire bar applauded. Overcome with emotion, I thought Moemi was going to throw her arms around him. Instead she slumped into her seat and covered her bright red face. Hiro sat down next to her and rested a hand atop of hers.

"Well, would you look at that? She didn't need me to charm her into doing it. She just needed a pep talk. Thanks to you, too." I grinned at Erma.

"You have a kind of influence that is rather contagious." Erma giggled.
