Chapter 293
Chapter 293
I chugged down a large glass of water in a matter of seconds. The carafe had since gone empty. Sweat drenched my bare body from head to toe. Back in bed, Mio was still drilling into Erma's pussy. The moment she returned to the captain's quarters after going around giving orders, we took her for a ride.
My dick was sore from fucking Erma all day. I blew so many loads into her, everything just leaked right back out. She squealed like a howling swine in heat and could probably give Layla a run for her money, being the biggest masochist. Mio thrusted one last time, shooting her spunk into Erma, who was lying face down in bed and barely muttering deliriously.
"Fuuuuck, that was good. You got yourself a nice pet, Saeko! I still think it's wild you hooked the Legate Erma though. This bitch was a big pain in the ass during the war," Mio explained, hopping out of bed to down the rest of her glass.
Just then, the dark elven dick potions wore off. My penis vanished, and so did Mio's. I still felt the phantom pleasure from how much we fucked screwed Erma.
"I'm just as surprised. She was the one who came on to me. The first time, in disguise! Anyway, I hope we didn't drain her to death. That would look… very bad." I went around the bed to Erma's side and patted her cheek.
"Nnh… Being taken… so violently by succubi… by my former enemies… How humiliating and… incredible…" Erma muttered.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
"Legate, we're nearing an island but no signs of the ships yet. We do, however, see some flotsam washing up shore. Some of the crew have taken a rowboat out to fish them up in case they indicate the merchant vessels passing through," a soldier said from the other side.
"Very good." Erma sat upright. "Keep me posted. Dismissed."
"Yes, Legate!" Their footfalls steered away from the cabin.
"And I thought we fucked you silly. Guess you're a lot more resilient than I thought." Mio smirked.
"I've been captured by succubi before and made to do their bidding. While the two of you are certainly more… eager than most, it isn't something I haven't gone through before," she explained.
I crawled back onto bed on top of Erma. My breath made her shudder. Her breath stirred my hunger. The two of us drew closer until our lips made purchase on each other. It was long, tender, and full of passion. Pinning Erma to the bed reminded her who she was in this arrangement. Glossy eyes gazed up at me, full of desire and a need to have it quenched. I kissed her again, then jolted to Mio's fingers plunging into my pussy. Mio bent down between Erma's legs to perform cunnilingus. We climaxed at the same time and squirted all over the bed.
We could go on for much longer, but Erma really wanted to check on what her sailors had found. The three of us ascended onto the upper deck. Sailors were pulling up a big net from the side of the ship that contained all manner of crates and debris. When they reeled it all up, fish slipped from the gaps in the netting and flopped about helplessly.
"Legate!" A few light elf crewmen stood at attention and saluted.
"Is that the flotsam from the merchant ships?" I asked.
"We're about to find out," Erma said, then turned to address her people. "Check for the Everlight's seal and start cracking them open!"
Sailors grouped up to inspect everything brought on board. They took crowbars, hammers, and axes to the containers. One elf erupted with a gasp.
"Here, Legate! This crate has a seal," she said.
We gathered around the sailor, who pointed to a crest stamped onto the side of the box. It had a flower on the background of a round sun. Erma recognized it immediately, confirming that these did belong to the merchant ship.
Another sailor cracked open the same crate. The fruits inside were soaked in seawater, too spoiled to be worth eating. If the seal wasn't proof enough, the goods inside were plenty for Erma.
"These are barberry. Our farms have harvested them recently. Now, I'm absolutely sure the ships were here," Erma said.
"Is it possible they sank?" I trembled at the thought.
"Nah." Mio shook her head. "We'd see a lot more debris washing up on shore if that happened."
"Mio is correct. Most likely, a scuffle happened on board. Or they hit a wave that knocked these over. It might be worth checking the island just in case," she murmured.
We gazed in the direction of the island in question. The little landmass was pretty tiny. I could circle it in a few minutes. Dense forests bundled up inside a thin border of sandy shores. The only animals on it were probably birds and other small critters.
"What if Mio and I go check? Flying makes it a lot easier than sending sailors there on small boats," I suggested.
"Hey, you think we can't do our jobs?" an angry elf shouted.
"This is your fault to begin with!" another growled.
Erma lifted a hand and silenced them. "Queen Saeko and Mio volunteered to come of their own volition. They did so in recognition of their subjects' wrongdoing. I will not have you disrespect my guests."
Everyone swallowed hard and deferred to the legate. Not a single word spoke against us after that.
"Saeko, Mio. Will you two take a quick look around the island?" Erma asked.
Mio and I saluted in a goofy manner. The seaman and soldiers rolled their eyes. We jumped off the ship, making a beeline for the island.
"Erma's cool and all, but the rest of those light elves piss me off. If I remember one of them giving me the stink-eye again, I'm charming them to walk off the plank," Mio said.
"Come on, it's not that bad. Of course they're miffed at us. The succubi back at the manor made off with their merchant ships!" I reasoned.
"Yeah, but we didn't. They did! We're the ones trying to help. All I'm saying is, they can stand to not be little bitches about it," she huffed.
Not that I didn't understand both sides. It must be tough being Erma though, trying to mediate two factions and keep her own people from blowing a lid on us.
We circled along the coast of the small island first. Someone could have made signs calling for help. However, we saw no such thing. Just sand, sand, and more sand. When we didn't find a thing, we flew into the island on the narrow chance that a light elf ventured in.
The canopy was thick and hard to peer through. Occasionally, some branches would rustle but only turned out to be a nest of birds. We were about to head back when Mio spotted a figure racing through the island.
"Whaddya think?" Mio turned to me.
"Worth a look." I shrugged.
We descended into the forest to find a light elven man being chased by bird creatures with razor-sharp beaks. The two of us flew level with him, and he looked to be on the verge of shitting his pants.
"It's an elf!" Mio exclaimed.
"Oh, shit. Succubi? You're not the help I was expecting! Get away from me, you sex demon freaks!" the man cried.
"We're helping Legate Erma find you and the merchant ships. Do you want our help or not? Otherwise, we can leave you here to take your chances with those birds." I thumbed behind us.
"Legate Erma? Fine! Help me!" he pleaded.
Mio whirled around and shot a fireball at the swarm. The blast exploded, setting the surroundings on fire. There were tons of kindling around, so the inferno continued to grow.
"Mio…" I sighed.
"Haha. Oopsies!" Mio stuck her tongue out.
We picked up the stranded light elf as the entire forest escalated into a conflagration. Fire licked at our backs on the way back to the ship. A large crowd had gathered at the starboard, Erma included. They didn't even notice that Mio and I brought one of their own back.
"We picked someone up who was from the ship," I announced.
"Told ya we were helpful," Mio chimed in.
"Saeko, Mio… What did you two do?" Erma asked in shock.
The two of us spun around, and the entire island had been engulfed in fire. Squawking gulls fled en masse. Smoke filled the skies. Mio's magical fire did a lot more damage than we expected.
We pointed at the rescued elf and said, "He did it."
"What?!"
Erma fixed up a warm meal and clothes for the sailor before questioning him. We joined them in the mess hall, on the same floor as the lower deck canons. The weapons and munitions were pushed to the side to make room, and crewmen pulled out collapsible tables that dropped from the ceiling.
The elf stuffed himself full of gruel like it was gourmet food. If he had been stranded on that island for a while, this must be a luxury.
"It's about time you tell us what happened, sailor. We'll take any clues, directions, or guesses," Erma said.
"Sorry, my mind's a little fuzzy. Starving really messes with the brain, you know? The only water I had to drink was whatever I could wring out from mosses growing on rocks!" He continued shoveling food into his mouth and downed a glass of grog before asking for another.
"We're short on time." She balled up a fist on the table, but military discipline kept her from acting out on emotion. "You may be a civilian, and I have no authority ordering you around… but, I can just as easily turn my head to a succubus taking initiative."
That was a big hint if I'd ever heard one.
"I thought you'd never ask." Mio smirked, and I felt her aura seizing hold of the elf.
"Eh— wait!" The sailor uttered a single word by the time her charm took effect, and he was already looking more compliant.
"Thank you." Erma smiled at Mio. "Now, sailor. Identify yourself and your occupation, and tell me what happened on the ships."
Hesitation gripped him despite being charmed. "Seaman Melor Walls, boatswain-in-training! As for the ship, well… er… The captains kind of… let the succubi take over the ship."
"What?" all three of us uttered.
"I mean, everyone was kind of having a tough month. Scurvy hit us for a week when we ran out of oranges. After grabbing the shipments bound for the dark elves and succubi, we sailed right away. Had every intention of making the delivery. The dark elves sent a group of succubi to help unload the cargo. Some of the crew got a little flirty, and so did the demons. One drink led to another, and… we sailed out to have an orgy."
I looked at Erma for her reaction, and she had a hand pressed to her face. The legate heaved the heaviest sigh yet.
"Kahaha! Ahahahaha! Looks like your people got horny, too!" Mio doubled over in laughter.
"Ugh. Among elvenkind, sailors of merchant ships tend to deal with other races the most. They are more likely to… readily fornicate with succubi. But to almost cause a violent incident… How irresponsible." Erma shook her head.
"I guess we can say both sides are at fault. We'll look the other way if you do," I offered.
"I have no other choice but to report it that way. Onto the next matter. How did you become separated from your ship? And where are they?" she pressed the sailor for more answers.
"Embarrassed to say, I drank a little too much, took a tumble, and knocked me and some goods off the ship! Last I remember, we were sailing to Raelon Island," Melor explained.
While Erma continued to grill Melor, I breathed a sigh of relief that the succubi weren't entirely to blame. I still needed to punish them for having a part in it though…
We headed back to the captain's quarters with Erma. She circled Raelon Island on her map, which was inside the cone that originally indicated where they might be. Talk about being accurate.
Erma ordered the ship captain to set course for the island. But tensions had grown thick. Everyone started arming themselves. Crew opened the gunports and manned the canons. Mages to the upper deck, parking themselves along the port and starboard. I assuredly didn't know better, so it looked like they were going to war.
"Hey, what's going on? I thought we agreed to share fault! You're not going to hurt the succubi, are you?" I asked while following Erma across the ship barking instructions.
"It's not the succubi we're worried about now," Erma said.
"Sea monsters," Mio continued in her place. "Farther out to sea we go, the more dangerous it is. This ain't Earth anymore, babe. Welcome back to Elza. There's a reason we sailed along the coast last time we were here."
I trembled to imagine the ships having been attacked by sea monsters. Suddenly, I didn't feel so good about going with them.
"Yes, we should be worried. But Raelon sits on the edge of the sea cliff. Beyond that, including any islands farther out, will be treading on dangerous territory. We can only hope that all three merchant ships are no farther than Raelon," Erma explained, then whispered a silent prayer to her goddess, the Everlight.
