Chapter 311: One last trick 2

JASMINE’S POV

holding the gun I ran down the hallway I came I could focus on protecting Tony and keeping any of Kolton’s men away from him.

I rounded a corner and was suddenly pulled by my arm. My back was smashed hard into the wall of the next hallway. Pain shot through my back and I screamed.

"Got you!" I Kolton’s voice. My heart sank in my chest as I met his cold brown/gold eyes. Of all the people why did it have to be him. He pinned my arms against the wall.

The gun was almost knocked out of my hands but my hold on it remained steady. He held a gun in his own hands. I had to prevent him from getting to Tony who was hiding. He began lifting my wrist that held the gun and smashed it against the wall. I screamed out as I tried to free my hand.

I lifted my leg and kicked him in the groin.

"Ah!" he yelled. I gave him a head bud ontop of that. "You bitch!" he screamed as he staggered backward.

I moved away from him and positioned my gun to shoot him. With my fimger on the trigger I was wasted no time and shot at him. Unfortunately, he recovered quickly and rammed into me. I lost my balance and the bullet shot in the ceiling. He aimed his gun at me but I punched him with a left hook.

I was so grateful for those boxing lessons. I had to get revenge for what he did to me at the parking lot.

Our fight escalated down the hallway getting further away from the one Tony was hiding in. We were punching and hitting each other trying to get rid of each others gun whilst trying to get a clear shot. Neither of us backed down. It was a literal fight to the death.

We nearly reach the end of the hallway with Kolton and I continuing with our power struggle. I missed another shot which got Kolton in his thigh. The scream he let out was deafening.

Pure rage was in his eyes as roughly grabbed my shoulders and slammed against the door of the last room in the hallway with immense power. The force sent my head spinning and I losened the hold on my gun. He pulled it out of my hand and I heard it drop to the floor.

"No," I said weakly as my head continued to spin.

With him keeping me pinned with his whole body he brought his gun to my head. Kolton’s finger moved and I heard clicking against the trigger. He was going to pull it.

No, this couldn’t be, it couldn’t end like this. I promised Tony I would come back to him. I’d put up such a fight, it all couldn’t amount to nothing.

"I’ve had enough you and that snot nosed brat. Once I kill you. That brat’s next. Then I’ll end it all with Keith," he spat out at me. "If I’m going down I’ll make sure everyone else does too."

"No," I said as I struggled against his hold. My vision was still blurry but I could somewhat see. I couldn’t win against his raw strength, so instead I used my hands to feel the door behind me. I was searching for the handle.

As I struggled I met Kolton’s eyes that looked too gleeful. A cynical smile appeared on his face as he stared at me.

I found the handle and I opened it wide just as he pulled the trigger.

I leaned as far back as I could as the bullet narrowely missed my head. However, I lots my blance and fell on to the floor. Kolton fell down with me because he was leaning against the door as well.

As son as I touched the floor I sat up quickly and went to Kolton who had fallen beside me. Acting quickly I grabbed his gun from his hands and threw it further in the room far from him.

"You’re so persistent!" he yelled in annoyance as he got up.

In the fight for my son I had to be.

I turned away, got up and ran toward his gun he had thrown away. He tried to grab my leg but I stepped on it and he let go, allowing me to continue.

I looked back and found him heading for the door heading for my gun just outside the room.

I reached his gun, grabbed it and aimed it at Kolton. He too, had got my gun and was already pointing at it at me. My finger was on the trigger and I assumed his was as well. It was literally whoever was faster at this point.

I was about to pull the trigger when I heard a gun go off. Fuck. He’d shot before I could.

KEITH’S POV

The plan had been to stall and then attack once the police and my men had breached Kolton’s security. That’s what we agreed after Marco had given us a tip on how to wwe could sneek past the the guards.

Looks like the Carrington was right about his idea to ask Marco for help. After discussing the plan I went towards Kolton’s men that had formed a sort of perimeter around the property.

Upon entering Kolton’s home I was taken to a room where I found Jasmine and Tony hugging each other in fear.

Seeing them in such a position I almost compketely forgot that Jasmine had escaped the day before.

I watched as all of Kolton’s men began to scramble as I shot at them. Kolton was present one moment but somehow quickly went out of my line of sight.

I seached for Kolton but he wasn’t in the room. I dissappeared from the room and immedeate areas unfortunately.

"Where is Kolton!?" I asked my men.

"We don’t know, sir," one of the men nearest to me replied.

I had to find them. I left the dinning room and ran upstairs with several of my men.
