“Who was it?” Jean called from the walk-in closet where he was tucking into his charcoal-grey jeans, a sexy body-fitting grey shirt which he’d only buttoned halfway. The phone had stopped ringing.

“Bradley,” Wendy said quietly when she got to Jean who was rolling up his sleeves. “I didn’t pick up but I think he’s been trying to reach you.” She held out the phone. “Three missed calls. All from him.”

“Thanks.” Jean took the phone and hit the dial button. “Brad?” He tucked the phone between his ear and shoulder as he bent to pull on his strikingly unique grey boots.

“Is everything alright?” Bradley asked as soon as he heard Jean’s voice.

“Yeah. I was taking a shower.” Jean watched as Wendy left the room with the bag he’d asked her to pack for him. He already had another packed bag with brand new stuff in his truck, meant for Bradley. “Sorry I missed your calls. You okay?”

“Yeah, I’m okay.”

“Ready for our date?” Jean’s husky tone turned Bradley’s insides turn to mush.

“Yes. Where are we going?”

“Somewhere we can have a nice dinner,” Jean responded. “I did ask you to have dinner with me didn’t I?”

“You did. I just want to know where we’re going to have dinner that’s all.” Bradley said. “It will help me decide on what to wear.”

“I know you don’t like to dress up.” Jean chuckled. “Just wear something casual. You’ll look sexy in anything so…”

“Hmm…” Ty’s earlier advice that he should dress casually, rang in Bradley’s mind. It was obvious that Jean wasn’t ready to say where they were going so Jean decided not to push. After all, he’d know soon enough. “I’ve missed you.” He said instead.

“Not as much as I’ve missed you.” Jean grabbed his watch and headed for the door. I’ll be there soon.” He ended the call and headed out.

Bradley groaned at the intense excitement that roiled through him at the sound of the knock on his door. He didn’t rush to open the door. He waited, trying to bring his excitement under control. He wasn’t a teenaged girl for goodness sake, Bradley scolded himself. His body’s response to Jean scared him sometimes. He didn’t like the way the mere thought of the man sent his entire being into a lustful frenzy. And it worried him even more that Jean knew the effect he had on him. It was definitely wrong to give the man that kind of power over him, Bradley thought as he took deep breaths to rein in some control.

When Bradley thought he was grounded enough, he went to open the door. But that hold on sanity fled the instant he laid eyes on the heart-meltingly handsome man at his door. Without a thought, Bradley stepped out, reached up to cup Jean’s face, and then covered Jean’s mouth with his. It was a short but sweet kiss, tinged with hunger. When the kiss ended, Bradley gave Jean a slow smile.

“Do you have anything against doorbells?” Bradley murmured breathlessly.

“No. Why do you ask?” Jean turned Bradley around and pushed him into the room. That kiss had definitely left him wanting more.

“This is the second time you’ve been here. And each time, you ignored the doorbell and knocked. Is it that…oh…” Bradley gasped when Jean suddenly turned him and pinned his back to the closed door. “Jean…” But the look in Jean’s eyes stopped him from saying whatever he’d been about to say.

“Give me your tongue,” Jean demanded huskily.

With a moan, Bradley did as instructed. Jean twirl his tongue around the offered tongue teasingly before wrapping his lips around the tip and sucking on it gently. Bradley’s eye’s fluttered shut as he gave himself up to the sweet sensations Jeans sensuous sucking was wracking on his senses. It felt so good his knees went weak. Jean moved down to his lower lip after a while, drawing that succulent flesh into his mouth and sucking on it until a lustful moan tore out of the soldier’s throat. By the time Jean stopped the salacious act, Bradley looked flustered and totally aroused.

“Yes, that’s the look I wanted,” Jean murmured against Bradley’s lips. “You look like a wet dream. And you look sexy as fuck in white.” He breathed as his eyes raked over Bradley. In white jeans, a white slim-fit stylish cotton short sleeve shirt – untucked, and light brown boots, Bradley looked edible.

“Well, I thought since I didn’t dress appropriately for your day yesterday, I’d do mine today,” Bradley said breathlessly.

“Love it.” Jean nodded. “But I won’t lie…I’m picturing you naked right now.” He husked.

“Aw shut up.” Bradley pushed Jean back with a burst of shaky laughter. He picked up his cell phone and slipped it into his back pocket. “Err…” He glanced around the room and then slipped his hands into his pocket. Then he took them out and rubbed the back of his neck. Then he slipped them back into his pocket and then finally looked up at Jean.

“Shall we?” Bradley couldn’t recognize his own voice.

“Are you okay?” Jean asked, looking at the absolutely rattled gorgeous man before him.

“Does it look like I’m okay?” Bradley growled low in his throat. “You come in here and drive me insane with all that…” He stared Jean down. “And you ask me whether I’m okay? I think you’ve turned me into a sex addict. Your very scent makes me want sex. It doesn't seem to matter how many times we do it, I still want to do it with you again.” He growled. “We better get out of here before I tear that sexy outfit off your body.”

Jean couldn’t keep the smug smirk off his face. “Sure. Let’s get out of here.” He nodded but made no move to leave. “Have you…switched off all your gadgets and closed the windows? You know…safety precautions?”

Bradley stared at Jean. Jean was obviously up to something. He wouldn’t be so concerned with precaution if their date was just for the evening. But Bradley didn’t say anything. He just shook his head at Jean and then went back to his bedroom. Jean followed. He watched as Bradley reached behind his bed to unplug the main power point in the room. And that was when he saw it…a guitar, tucked between the bed and the bedside table.

“Do you play?” Jean asked as he walked closer and reached out to pick up the musical instrument.

“No,” Bradley said so sharply, Jean turned to look at him. “I…I’m not really go…good at it.” He stuttered, surprising Jean even more.

“I am.” Jean started for the door with the guitar in his hand. “I’ll play you something during dinner. Let’s go.”

“Jean?” Bradley called in an authoritative voice. When Jean stopped and turned around to look at him, Bradley said in a voice filled with both an appeal and a command; “Leave it.”

Jean’s brow raised in surprise. Without a word, he nodded and put the guitar back where he’d taken it. At the door he stopped and said, without turning; “I’m still going to play you something. But just know this… You’re going to tell me the story behind that instrument by the end of our date.” With that, Jean left the room.

It took Bradley a while to move his leg. With a deep sigh, he locked his bedroom and then followed Jean out of his apartment.
