How to Redeem a Trashy Side Villain

Chapter 79: First K***

Chapter 79: First K***

"Mom, I'll be heading out now."

"Alright. Stay safe. And remember..."

"Always keep you up to date on what I'm doing."

Diana excused herself from the rest of her family and the two of us went over to our usual spot.

It was cold and snowy outside but she came out in a regular outfit, not even feeling the impact of the temperature.

'Is her icy nature that potent now?' I wondered.

Soon, she'd enter the next stage of her vampirism and would be one step closer to awakening the vampire queen which was the entire reason why Draven chose to turn her into a vampire in the first place.

'It could be today,' I thought to myself.

As I sat down on that toilet seat, Diana looked a little hesitant but her eyes were salivating for a taste.

"Can I?" she asked again.

I didn't know why she was so shy about it now after she had already done it over a hundred times before.

"Yes, Diana, go ahead. Dig in," I answered.

She licked her lips, a grin on her face, and as her fangs dug into my flesh, I began to feel my mana start to leave my body.

I closed my eyes and waited for her to finish as usual.

But it wasn't as usual.

She was normally satisfied after drinking to her full but today, she chose to continue drinking more and more.

'What's she doing?' I wondered. I didn't stop her because I assumed that this was just her trying to make up for the previous days of not getting to taste my blood.

As someone who was essentially a superhuman, I'm also not that affected by the weather unless it's extreme but I began to feel this cold chill in my body.

Opening my eyes, I saw that the room we were in was starting to get covered in this thin layer of frost. It started from where we were and slowly expanded from there.

Looking at Diana, I realized that I was right. Today was the day.

Her hair was transforming white and the blood veins that I could see on her bare skin turned blue.

If this was the case then I needed to make sure that I had enough mana for her to consume or else she would have to move on to the next victim otherwise, the transformation would backfire on her and she'd turn into dust.

Texting Jerman who had already arrived and was waiting for me to finish with my business, I told him to go purchase some mana potions and bring them over to my location, leaving them outside.

"Diana, in a little bit, I'm going to ask you to momentarily stop drinking my blood. Don't panic. I'm just going to grab something being dropped off," I informed her.

She looked at me with her eyes and although she was unsatisfied with the fact that she had to momentarily stop drinking my blood, she agreed.

Once Jerman texted that the task was complete, I told Diana that it was time.

She pulled her fangs out and I could feel the ice-cold aura surrounding her mixed in with bloodlust. She was holding it back for the moment but if I took too long, she was bound to lose control and just dig right back into her meal without warning.

Mentally, I had to prepare myself.

I grabbed the bag of mana potions outside, came back in, locked the door, and then sat back down on the seat.

"What's that?" asked Diana whose eyes were jumping between the bag and my body.

"It's just some mana potions so that I don't run out. Drink Diana. To your heart's content. Drink until you feel like you don't want to drink anymore."

"...Ca-can I really?" she asked, gulping.

"...Really."

As soon as I gave her permission, her fang dug into the other side of my neck.

Her partially-white hair had become completely transformed into this ghost-white color and soon after, it turned as white as could be.

She was grabbing the back of my shoulders with her fingers and her sharp nails were literally stabbing into my flesh.

Pheromones permeated the room and I tried my best to keep my mind straight but I'd never been subjected to a session this long before so parts of me began to falter as time passed.

'How much longer is she going to take?' I asked myself as I winced.

It was a strange sensation as the mana potions were recovering my mana while she was draining it simultaneously.

Emotions were riling up inside of me, emotions I didn't know what to call.

She looked at me with her eyes that turned into a lighter blue color that was akin to ice. Her usual eyes were a darker shade of blue.

A vampire's eyes turn red but she is a special case as she was the catalyst for the vampire queen.

Her eyes were saying that she knew the emotions that were going on inside of me but that wasn't going to stop her.

'Fine. Keep drinking. Drink all that you want.'

When she finally pulled her fangs out, her hair flipped in the air as she pulled her body back quickly.

"Ahhhh," she let out this sigh one would make after finishing a delicious drink.

The room had completely frozen and I was shivering.

I could sense that the usual Diana was gone and at least for the moment, she had been overtaken by the vampire side of her.

Licking her lips, she said, "Thank you Bell, for that delicious meal."

She grabbed my face and moved it around as if checking out all the nooks and crannies of my skull.

"Not bad. You're a pretty handsome fella now that I'm looking at you closely," she complimented me.

"Thank you?"

"It seems like she wants her body back so I won't be here for much longer."

"What should I call you?" I asked.

"You can call me Turaya," she answered as she moved her face closer to me. That was the name of the vampire queen who Draven had basically sacrificed his life to set the plans in motion to awaken her.

"Here's a parting gift from me as thanks for your service."

She planted her lips on mine and I couldn't help but stare into her eyes which slowly began to fade into their usual color.

My lips felt cold and warm at the same time as the nature of her magic and her body clashed.

I didn't even know how to react.

I didn't expect this to happen.

This was my first kiss as Bell Agnus and if I included my life from before, this was the first kiss I had in years.

My teeth were closed but I wasn't clenching them so with a little force, she was able to pry to inside of my mouth open and her tongue entered my mouth.

Again, a clash of two temperatures was happening.

Once the blue eyes and white hair had completely disappeared, Diana pulled herself away from me. She got off my lap and turned around.

I could see her ears turning red. Steam coming out from the top of her head.

"Tha-thank you f-for the help as usual," she said, stuttering and voice cracking.

"No problem. See you tomorrow?" I asked.

"Y-yep. S-see you then. Bye!"

Moving very robotically, she opened the door and left without even turning to face me. Both of us knew that she knew what happened but was just pretending it didn't because it was easier that way.

I stayed in that bathroom a little longer. I watched as the frost closely vanished as the heater in the bathroom was melting it away now that Diana was no longer freezing it.

I sighed. "She's arriving even earlier."

That was to be expected since her vampire journey was ahead of its initial journey but that still didn't make it any better knowing that Turaya had already awoken from her slumber.

Not completely because Diana still had the reins over the body but after a few more stages, less Diana would exist and more Turaya would take over.

Thankfully, I knew the method to save both of them, splitting them apart from one another.

Exiting the bathroom, I entered the car where Jerman had been waiting.

He said to me, "Young master, would you like me to turn up the heater? Your face is slightly red."

I looked at the reflection of my face on the phone.

"Yeah. It is a little cold," I responded.

I got home and played with my two little sisters who complained that my body was too cold.

It would take a while before the ice residue she left in me disappeared completely.

"Brother, pay attention," said Rubi who was getting a little frustrated with me. "You keep staring off into nothing."

We were playing house and I was the daughter while my two sisters were the parents.

Eloise nodded her head, agreeing with what Rubi had just said.

"Sorry," I apologized. "Where were we?"

"You just got a B+ on your math test and we're punishing you for not getting an A," said Eloise.

After putting the two of them to bed, I spent some time talking to my older brother on the phone. He still hadn't returned home since he left.

Whatever the paladins were dealing with, it was a major deal.

I wondered if it was something from the novel but was unable to connect any dots — at least for the moment.

"Aight, I gotta go," said Cyro who was looking to his right as one of his partners called him.

"Okay. Get home soon," said Mother who was sitting with me.

I went to sleep that night thinking about the events of the day. I got rewarded by Apple for completing the quest, signed a deal with Sarakit, and then dealt with Diana's issue.

The first two things were planned and were all that I had expected to accomplish.

I didn't expect the third thing to happen and now that it did, it was all that I was able to think about.

I touched my lips with my index and middle finger.

After a while, I let out a soft chuckle.

"Why am I acting like a little girl who never kissed before? It's just a kiss," I said, rolling my eyes.

I turned on some relaxing music to fall asleep to, expecting to drift away within minutes.

But an hour past midnight, I opened my eyes. It didn't work as intended.

"Let me go burn some calories," I thought to myself as I grabbed my wooden sword from the wall and began heading out.
